Dream phone my fatigue seems to have subsided now thankfully (although don't want to speak to soon as may come back with a vengeance!) although to be honest I'm very lucky with dd she goes to bed at 7 and doesn't normally wake until 9-10ish next day so I have a gentle start!! Although my friend saw me for diary time since Christmas and said 'god you look tired Blush)

Unfortunately with the less tiredness has come lots more nausea! Just been retching for last 5 mins for one measly bit of sick! Would rather be more sick as actually relieves it for a bit!! Yummy!!

Feelingfatty · 07/01/2014 16:36

Oh flymo it's not that exciting it's not my 12 week one!! It's only a private early one! Will be 8+2 on sat when it is Grin thanks though!! Still exciting

DreamPhone · 07/01/2014 16:45

Fatty that's good news that you're through the worst of the tiredness...though sorry to hear that more nausea is what was waiting on the other side! I don't know which one is worse - I think I would rather be tired because then at least I can eat all the carbs.

Oh my goodness though I can't imagine looking after another child whilst feeling like this - well done!

HungryHorace · 07/01/2014 16:47

Fatty, I'm like that...would much prefer to just be properly sick than retching loads. I've not fared too badly today apart from retching in the shower and then when brushing my teeth. The taste I have is horrendous though. Urgh.

Shak, I hope everything is ok with you. The weather does sound harsh. Not quite as bad as Chicago though!

Hi to Dream. :-)

Can anybody else feel the fluttering / washing machine yet? It's slightly crazy this early, but I felt DD before 11-12 weeks, and this is my second, so I suppose earlier is feasible (or I am 4 weeks further on!).

flymo79 · 07/01/2014 17:00

yes, big respect to everyone already with a DC and dealing with early preggo symptoms, I am full of admiration!!
Hungry, I thought I felt the fluttering but am 99.99% certain it's just gas! Have had terrible trapped windypops for positively weeks now.....

Feelingfatty · 07/01/2014 17:02

Dream phone it is harder with dd but at least I'm not working! To be honest I think it's the guilt that you're being a bit rubbish with them that's worse!!

Hungry I know retching is awful!! I have been having those feelings for a few weeks but I think it's things moving around getting ready as I'm only 7+5! I think maybe we just know what those feelings feel like and so other things feel like that! I have felt those feelings and not even been pg!! Blush

mssleepyhead · 07/01/2014 17:29

I don't know what to do. I've just found 5 spots of brown blood in my knickers, with a bit more when I wiped. No cramping. The EPU is closed. Do I just wait? Nervously?

mssleepyhead · 07/01/2014 17:31

Should I go to a&e? It seems a bit dramatic... But I'm scared.

Shakshuka · 07/01/2014 17:41

mssleepyhead

I don't think going to A&E will help. You'll probably just sit around for ages and then told to make an appointment for a scan!

Brown blood is usually nothing but even if it is something, there's not much they can do at this stage anyway. I've also got brown bleeding when I wipe and I've had it on and off since I was 5 weeks. I had the same with my other pregnancies (in fact a lot more and with the first even proper red bleeding).

Feelingfatty · 07/01/2014 17:42

Mssleepyhead unless it turns into something more (which I'm sure it won't) I wouldn't bother with a+e. Not much they can do there and will just be a long wait to be told they'll make you an appointment with epu in the morning I expect! I would ring epu/midwife or doctor tomorrow and get checked out. I'm sure you're fine, must be horrible I had it with dd and all was fine. Fingers firmly crossed ThanksThanksThanks

Choccywoccydodah · 07/01/2014 17:44

Hi all just checking in and hoping everything is going ok with your pgs!!
Just wanted to let you all know that I got a very very faint line today after my last 2 months of chemicals, hoping it's 3rd month lucky GrinGrinGrin
Take care all xxx

Feelingfatty · 07/01/2014 17:46

Oh Choccy that's fabulous news!! Thanks for thinking of checking back in with us! I'm so happy, fingers crossed for you! When is af due?

mssleepyhead · 07/01/2014 17:47

I don't know what to do about work... If I call the GP (they're open till 6.30) and get an appointment at the EPU I don't know how I'd get out of classes. No one here knows, and if I didn't come to work it would need well explaining...

Choccywoccydodah · 07/01/2014 17:51

FF hi!! Hope everything is going well for you!
I'm only 9dpo and am very very shocked that I have a faint line already. I haven't a clue what prompted me to test!
I had 5 days of positive opks (normally + for 24 hours max) so I'm going from the first positive. Af not due til the weekend, but I had brown around my cervix last night when I checked. I don't know how long it's been there as I haven't checked my cervix this or last cycle, but guessing implantation?

lucyfluff · 07/01/2014 17:54

So much chat girls!!!

Mssleepy - dont panic! brown blood is OLD blood. As long as no cramps and red blood it should be fine. Pop a liner in and rest up, can you get a call to epu tmrw? are you a teacher?

Flymo - Ive got terrible trapped wind Blush Im actually going to ask GP about it as its on one side and bloody painful Sad

Choccy - OMG OMG..Grin Grin Grin Grin I hope its a sticky bean for you lovely!!! will pop in conception thread and catch up!!!!!

Ive got my scan in three days starting to get a ickle bit scared !!!!

HungryHorace · 07/01/2014 17:56

Congratulations, Choccy! That's awesome news. But...you check your own cervix?!?!

Mssleepyhead, I'd wear a panty liner overnight and monitor and call the EPU tomorrow morning. A&E won't be able to help, unfortunately.

HungryHorace · 07/01/2014 17:58

Oh, and I wish my wind was trapped. I'm soooo farty, it's grim.

Quite crampy tonight. Hope it's just stretching etc and nothing ominous.

CountdownBegins · 07/01/2014 18:18

Congrats choccy!

Mssleepyhead- I agree with the others, brown blood isn't bad but use a panty liner so you can see how much there is.

My wind is awful- trapped and untrapped! So ladylike...

Feelingfatty · 07/01/2014 18:18

Ms sleepy, ring docs and just call in with d+v a white lie has never hurt anyone.

Choccy that's fabulous, and fair play for checking cervix! Dedication!! I really hope this one is the one!! I'm doing good thanks, 7+5 now.

WeeJo08 · 07/01/2014 18:36

I apologise in advance for my whinging! My cold is still hanging around, I had my tenants moaning about stuff that is out of my control, my flu jab arm hurts, I am exhausted & my top lip has inexplicably swollen up. Also being a bad Mummy by sitting here on Mumsnet while DD pulls phone out of socket watches In the Night Garden. Is it bedtime yet?? Confused

Ruggle · 07/01/2014 18:37

Congrats Choccy! My fingers are crossed for you!

Not suffering too badly from wind issues. I can't eat bread generally or I swell up like a painful balloon and I've been avoiding pizza for the same reason and so far so good.

mssleepyhead · 07/01/2014 18:40

Than. You for your reassurance everyone. Raced home to call the GP but they must have closed 5 minutes early. I guess I'll have to see how tonight goes and will call tomorrow if there's still a problem. And will stop googling. Honest.
It's not a lot of blood, literally a few drops, but the sight of anything like that is still a bit scary.
Hoping for the best...

Congratulations, choccy, really great to hear your news!

flymo79 · 07/01/2014 18:41

eek, weeJo, I would ask the doc about your lip - when did you have the flu jab?
sorry for mentioning the wind!! but I'm glad I'm not the only one!!
And WOO HOO CHOCCY! everything crossed for you, third time's a charm
Wink

flymo79 · 07/01/2014 18:42

try not to panic mssleepy, so many stories on here and other boards about bleeding, try to get some rest and see what doc says in the morning xxxxxx

WeeJo08 · 07/01/2014 19:03

Flymo I think it's probably a cold sore because I'm run down but it just hasn't got cold sore looking yet, if that makes sense? I know I'm not helping myself - last night I worked until 10 past midnight, giving myself a really sore shoulder & back (my posture is appalling!). I told myself that if I didn't work on I would just worry about what I hadn't done & not be able to sleep so I worked on and guess what?! I couldn't get to sleep anyway because my head was still buzzing from working late. Aaaarrghh!
