I'm having serious mumsnet issues. Been all morning trying to get on here. When I look this thread just doesn't exist. I have had to get on here through a link via our facebook group. This seems only way I can get on here. Weird. Any ideas?

fryingpantoface · 14/12/2013 10:12

Hmm how odd Choco, have you accidently hidden the thread?

my ball came about an hour ago. I've been bouncing like a loon. No idea what's supposed to happen, but my upper back is now sore.

flyawayblue · 14/12/2013 10:33

Wow loads happening. Good luck to all those in hospital another I hope you make it to 34 weeks and curly good luck for the induction tomorrow.

I've not been feeling good recently, had depression very bad years ago and think I'm falling back a bit. So happy and excited to meet or little girl but everything else just makes me want to cry or hide. Sorry to bring a negative spin to the thread, really must try and pull myself out of it.

On other news I have a possible evc booked for Friday and not sure of my thoughts, they said they won't do it unless I'm happy with the idea but all the paper work is confusing.

chocoloulou34 · 14/12/2013 10:42

Yes it looks like ive hidden it accidentally
But I cant work out how to unhide it woops. If no one has any clue I will just have to access thread through link on facebook each time until we start a new thread I guess. What a dimwit!

AnotherStitchInTime · 14/12/2013 11:06

Choco message mumsnet technical they might be able to help you.

fryingpantoface · 14/12/2013 11:07

If you go to customise there will be an option to unhide. I manage to hide threads all the time

TobyLerone · 14/12/2013 11:10

Oh, fly :(
I'm sorry you're feeling down. Can you see your GP or talk to your mw? See if you can catch it early.

Be careful, nature!

I see my suggestion on FB that you'd hidden the thread was a bit late, loulou :o Does it work if you bookmark it?

I'm tentatively feeling a bit better. Thanks for all the sympathy! Lovely DD is going to go to the shop and get me some Coke/lemonade.

Toothfairy78 · 14/12/2013 11:55

Hey choco
I managed to un hide this thread. I put instructions plus screenshots on FB group so you can do it too.

chocoloulou34 · 14/12/2013 12:02

Oh did u notice I changed my name slightly haha. Cant pretend to be 33 forever can I. I also tried to put a pic on my profile but no idea if its worked as my phone doesn't let me click on my own profile. Hmm me and technology not good. Let me know if anyone can see it plz. Was having a practise as would like to put on pics of baby when he arrives :)

TobyLerone · 14/12/2013 12:13

I can't see it, loulou.

fryingpantoface · 14/12/2013 12:26

I think your profile is set to private lou

I didn't notice until you told me :)

Our vacuum is broken. I didn't like it anyway, it was an inherited Dyson, but it's making a really loud noise and there was smoke coming out of it. So we need to get a new one. We've got Currys vouchers so we'll get it from there, but we don't drive. So we'll have to wait until Wed and then DH can carry it home. Such fun!

Sultanajo · 14/12/2013 13:01

fly bless ya. If you need to talk you know we are here to listen, but as Toby suggested, could you talk to your GP or midwife?

Toby poor you. Glad you are feeling a tiny bit better. Take it easy as you will probably feel wiped out for a while!

frying how annoying throwing up your dinner so long after eating it!

Keeping everything crossed for everyone in hospital/holding their babies in as long as possible....

Well, the wall stickers are on the wall in the nursery. They actually look really good and have given the room some much needed colour and personality! DH is chuffed too! Knackered now though.....

Naturegirl82 · 14/12/2013 13:31

That's enough loft boards down to stash all the stuff up there for now. My god it was hard work. The rest can either waiy until I no longer have a bump, my parents come up to do it for me or I pay someone. Having a well earned sit down.

Naturegirl82 · 14/12/2013 13:33

Oh fly. It always helps to talk to people. I think people knowing takes some of the pressure off, so I definitely agree with the others that say speak to gp or mw.

Naturegirl82 · 14/12/2013 13:38

toby glad you're feeling a bit better. Bless your dd going out to get you something fizzy to help.

Yay for the wall stickers sultana. I think I've found the colours I want to use in the nursery but still need to get rest of house sorted before I'm allowed to start Sad

extracrunchy · 14/12/2013 13:56

Fly please don't ever feel you can't talk about it. Always happy to listen!

TobyLerone · 14/12/2013 14:03

Yy absolutely, fly. I hope my suggestion that you speak to your GP/mw didn't come across as if I meant you shouldn't talk to us.

Felix90 · 14/12/2013 14:27

Ooh is there a Facebook group?! Anyone mind if I butt in and join it? Please let me know how if so!

Liver scan went ok I think. She said the results will be ready by the end of the day so I'm guessing they will let me know early next week or when I'm back in the hospital on weds. She did a quick scan of baby too and everything looks good. She scanned over her face and she looks so cute!!!! OH is gutted he wasn't allowed in. Also got a pretty nursing bra from Bravissimo. Ended up with an E cup! I can't believe it as I'm usually a B!!! OH thinks it's brilliant Hmm Also got another nightie for my hospital bag and some comfy jogging bottoms, leggings and a top from Primark. Also bought some evening primrose tablets thanks to Toby Grin and treated myself to the Soap & Glory set from Boots that's down to £27 from £60 at the moment. Had a good day!

Hope everyone is feeling better this weekend.

Naturegirl82 · 14/12/2013 15:01

So question about hospital bags. Do you only pack one lot of clothes to go home in? Should I pack more in my extra bag as I may be in for a while or is it likely I'll be slobbing it in pjs the whole time???

Naturegirl82 · 14/12/2013 15:02

Glad the scan went well felix. And nice to see the little one again.Smile

OnlyThePurpleOnes · 14/12/2013 15:06

Felix I went shopping today too, but all I came home with is big knickers!! Your trip sounds much more fulfilling.

It was the last of the kids parties today so thats me Officially on the the downward curve to Chrismas now. No more big plans thank god. DH back to work tomorrow and DD at nursery. I don't plan on getting dressed until at least midday.

TobyLerone · 14/12/2013 15:23

Sounds like a productive day, felix :) And good news re the scan.

I've only packed one set of clothes in my bag. If I have to stay in I'll just stay in PJs. No room for any more clothes!

fryingpantoface · 14/12/2013 15:34

I've packed a hoodie and joggers to come home in.

I'm going to the church Christmas party tonight. I really don't want to but my fil is being Santa and he's not even a church member (fil, not Santa).

ds hasn't napped yet today, he was watching Harry Potter with me before, but I've tried to put him down for a nap, so fingers crossed.

self pity rant

I'm so tired with braxton hicks. For the past two days I've had them all the time, they are getting more painful and I'm sick of wondering if this is it. I don't want to go to a party to be told I'm huge, or i must be due soon, etc etc.

i just want my son to be here and to not be pregnant anymore.

self indulgent whine over

extracrunchy · 14/12/2013 15:41

Ah frying I'm with you Thanks

(Also my DS hasn't napped today. Grr...)

TobyLerone · 14/12/2013 15:44

I'm with you too, frying. BHs are tiresome.

Especially today. The D&V seems to have set them off.

Have a lovely party!
