Crikey another hope things settle down and you get to 34 weeks. At least you've had the steroids.

Yay for exchanging enjoying

toby glad your burns got seen to.

sultana hopefully we will all just take to breastfeeding, although I've been warned the first week/10 days are hard but heres hoping Smile

tooth yay for mat leave

felix my midwife has also said epo can be taken orally and from 37 weeks internally so guessing it must be ok

curly? hope they manage to get the pre-e under control

And that's all I can remember.

Pooch ia doing well. Wound is healing well and she was allowed to go out for an on lead walk which she enjoyed. I also think we are out of the woods with the chicken bones. Been no issues and it's been 5 days now.

I feel like I've been a bit lazy today. Was a bit tired so sat on the sofa sorting all our paperwork into the new filing system and having a good sort. House is starting to look more sorted now which is good but still not clean.

Evening in by myself tonight and tomorrow as dh is at xmas parties. Going to watch a cheesy chick flick I think.

Bizarrely I have another scan on Thursday. It was booked in for the 6th when I'll be nearly 39 weeks but they phoned today to bring it forward to Thursday. Not sure what the point will be as only had one on Monday and I thought growth scans had to have a minimum of 2 weeks between them. Oh well I'll go along with it.

Frizz1986 · 13/12/2013 19:17

Wow at all the ladies in hospital.
Could be baby news pretty soon then.
Hope you all go well and things settle down for each of you. Lots of Cake and Biscuit all round!

Yay for more maternity leave. I have 3 more days left.
Chilling at home after a busy day at work. Work xmas meal tomorrow night followed by hobbit on sunday. Then its the final few days of work! Xmas Smile

TobyLerone · 13/12/2013 20:44

Goodness, it's all getting quite real now, isn't it??

Good luck, another!

enormouse · 13/12/2013 21:09

Very exciting news ladies. Best of luck to those in hospital right now. Xx

Angelesque · 13/12/2013 21:12

Another blimey, my DD twin! Hope things slow and you can get a bit nearer 34 weeks... Lots of luck, you will be FINE.

Someone had a bet on a baby arriving today, didn't they?

Toby you're right, it is making it all very real now!

DH is building changing unit as we speak!

fryingpantoface · 13/12/2013 21:25

Eek fingers crossed another that you get to 34 weeks

Sultanajo · 13/12/2013 21:56

DH has bought animal wall stickers for the nursery and is suddenly prioritising putting them up in the nursery asap and is unbelievably excited about it!!! Its very sweet that he is suddenly so excited, but I am stressing about all the other things that really need to get done, like the remaining Xmas shopping and food shopping for Xmas day, snacks for him when I am in labour, his tax return.... However, apparently we are starting tomorrow with the wall stickers....Lol!

fryingpantoface · 13/12/2013 22:12

Sultana that's lovely!

I've just thrown up my tea, considering i ate at 6 youd have thought if i was gonna throw up it would have been sooner.

bh have been there on and off all day, just had about four in an hour. The one just before being sick actually hurt a lot! Stupid fake labour signs.

I'm going to bed, without the epo because i can't be bothered to try sticking something up my fanjo tonight.

AnotherStitchInTime · 13/12/2013 22:38

Still here no baby, but things have settled down. Might be moved to my second home on antenatal ward soon.

Trust this all to happen on the day dd2 decided that 3am was morning, I am shattered.

Sorry not to catch up phone signal crappy. Hope all are ok x

chocoloulou33 · 13/12/2013 23:00

It was me who predicted baby would be born 2day!!! Frying and another hope you both get some sleep 2nite and all is ok

GummiBear74 · 13/12/2013 23:08

Last day at work today (yay!), followed by Christmas party, so very tired and will catch up properly tomorrow.

Had a quick skim though and Xmas Shock sounds like babies are about to pop out all over the place!

curlywurlyllass · 13/12/2013 23:10

Thanks all for the well wishes, i will be 35+4 on sunday and ever hopefull wee guy will be strong enough to come out safely
EDD was 15.01.14- but my body really isnt doing its job right :(

another im learning so much up on the ward(ante&post natal ward is the same here) i hope u can take comfort that your care team is taking good care of you both
you may have your precious little one before me! Hopefully you get longer, the steroids were bloody sore!

Hope those of you still working get time to relax and those of you on mat leave are getting lovely nesting time.since i cant do much nesting here on bed rest i took my chance to rearrange my chair and cabinet..... Im such a rebel!

enjoyingscience · 13/12/2013 23:10

Blimey another, hope things stay settled so you can rest up tonight.

Here's to a peaceful night for everyone!

TobyLerone · 14/12/2013 03:18

Morning, all.

I'm up puking and shitting (TMI??), so not such a peaceful night for me :(

MrsGSR · 14/12/2013 04:22

:( hope you feel better soon toby!

I've not managed to get to sleep yet Angry

Felix90 · 14/12/2013 07:35

Ugh Toby hope it eases off soon.

I'm awake to go in to town for 9. Got an abdominal scan to check my liver at 12 which means I'm not allowed to eat anything until afterwards and I'm starving already!! How to F am I going to cope until midday? Also pint and a half of water an hour before with no pee breaks. Waaaah Confused

extracrunchy · 14/12/2013 09:00

Toby that sucks... Hope you feel better very soon.

Felix hope the test goes well and you don't keel over before midday.

fryingpantoface · 14/12/2013 09:05

Ug toby that's shitty (ha ha ha I'm such a wit!) but i'm feeling ya! It's the same with me.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a tingly fanjo. That was particularly odd! I wondered if it was happening, and then I fell asleep. So it wasn't

fryingpantoface · 14/12/2013 09:06

extra thank link is so cute!

AnotherStitchInTime · 14/12/2013 09:18

Oh toby hope it passes quickly for you, d&v sucks. Make sure you are drinking dioralyte as you are vomiting and can dehydrate very quickly. Might also be worth phoning maternity helpline at your hospital if it goes on too long as you may need to go on a drip and sometimes extended d&v can trigger labour.

Naturegirl82 · 14/12/2013 09:19

toby hope you feel better soon.

extra that link is adorable Smile

Right my mission today is to put some loft boards down so I can put stuff up in the attic. Best get a move on.

Dh won't be much help today, he came home at 4am and could barely stand up straight. Was quite amusing watching him try to get his socks off without falling over haha.
