Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
fryingpantoface · 18/12/2013 00:50

Been thirty mins and nothing on the pad.

at least Hebburn was good. Going to go back to bed and try and sleep

BookTart · 18/12/2013 05:16

Good luck with the sweep felix

I hope all is going well curly

frizz, I can't imagine anything more upsetting than disappointing cheese Sad

Absolutely nothing happening here at all. I will be pregnant forever.

TobyLerone · 18/12/2013 05:42

You're up early, book!

BookTart · 18/12/2013 05:48

Got fed up with laying awake thinking about having a wee, so I decided to make a cheese sandwich and a cup of tea instead :) How's the leg?

TobyLerone · 18/12/2013 05:54

I wish I had a cheese sandwich and a cup of tea, but too lazy to get out of bed!

The leg is sore and gross, thanks for asking :o Got to see the nurse again today. Hopefully she'll think of a magic cure this time. So far I've had dressings made of honey and silver. Maybe today's will be unicorn spit.

BookTart · 18/12/2013 05:58

I'm no medical professional, but isn't there, like, medicine for burns? Good luck with the unicorn spit though Grin

I'm going to try for a nap before DH gets up in half an hour. The cheese sandwich may not help with this plan.

OnlyThePurpleOnes · 18/12/2013 06:03

I think it's leeches. Or maggots. Or poo poultice. Or am i thinking of Blackadder? I'd try unicorn spit first, either way. Sorry its still so rotten, toby, thats really not what you need.

OnlyThePurpleOnes · 18/12/2013 06:04

First job of the day - re-wash all the washing up DH dis after dinner last night, as apparently he did it in olive oil instead of washing up liquid Hmm. (at least, he might as well have.)

TobyLerone · 18/12/2013 06:06

Poo poultice! That's it! Will request it today.

Morning, purple :o

TobyLerone · 18/12/2013 06:12

Btw, I've done a new thread seeing as how we've been cutting it a bit fine lately :o

Usual rules apply.

chocoloulou34 · 18/12/2013 06:52

Morning book and toby the kent crew all awake in the early hours lol. Ive had a crap night with pain. Last couple of days have not been too bad and thought ooh maybe I can cope with this pain after all. But ouchy its a bad one 2day
Got hospital appointment 2day though so more waiting around for hours on end then seeing consultant that I hate. Not sure what shes even doing 2day tbh.
Cant believe how fast this thread has gone! Need to have a good read. I think its def unlucky thread 13 and we gonna have no babies on here!! Very surprised. Thought somebody would of popped one out by now lol. Hope you all have a good day.

extracrunchy · 18/12/2013 07:00

Thanks for sorting the new thread Toby - and hope there's something better for your leg today. Poor you!

Choco hope you feel better very soon too Thanks

Purple my DH does that with the washing up too. Drives me to distraction.

Frying (I think? Sorry!) I've had the same kind of discharge for a few weeks and similar last pregnancy. MW says it's normal end of pregnancy goop. Grin

TobyLerone · 18/12/2013 07:01

Morning, loulou!

:o The Kent Crew. I suppose it's fitting that we should be up first as the sun gets to us first. Or something.

Ugh @ hospital all day. And pain. How crappy for you :(

MrsVDB · 18/12/2013 07:07

Congratulations!!!!! How exciting :) any more babies going to pop in last few posts? That's a good weight for dates isn't it? :)

TobyLerone · 18/12/2013 07:09

Congratulations, curly! Lovely name and excellent weight!

How gorgeous is he on a scale of 1-10? Wink

GummiBear74 · 18/12/2013 07:13

Wow, curly, great to hear that he's finally arrived! I hope he 'll be out of intensive care in a jiffy and you can be together soon Thanks

That's a good name - the boy name we picked was Alexander James!

choco is no doubt eating her words right this minute Grin

Frizz1986 · 18/12/2013 07:18

Woooooo curly how fabulous!!! Huge congrats. I am actually crying with happiness for you!
Such a good weight and a lovely name. Hope you are feeling well too.
My nephew was in nicu for a week when he was early but he is doing fab (now almost 4 yrs old) and is ahead of other kids his age as well.
Am sure you will both be home in no time.

Cant remember who said but my discharge has been rather sweet smelling and ranged from really watery to some snot like. I have done the recline test numerous times and nothing so i know it must be discharge.

toby i wonder if they might try elf sweat next. It is very effective at this time of year!
(Sorry your leg is still pants!!)

Really achey bump and back overnight. Sleeping is getting much harder. And the cheese really ruined my eve as i had a horrid taste in my mouth before i fell asleep. I even had a mini panic that bad cheese could induce labour lol!
Oh well last day of work today......woohooo

Now lets get off this thread 13 asap!

extracrunchy · 18/12/2013 07:19

Yay congratulations Curly!!! Does sound like a very good weight. Hope he's out of intensive very soon and you both get to go home and snuggle. Lovely name! Well done Smile

AnotherStitchInTime · 18/12/2013 07:59

Congratulations curly, a good size. I am sure he will be on the ward with you soon (my friend here had her baby at 33 weeks and he was out of scbu within 3 days).

Morning to you all.

Hope today at the hospital can offer you some relief choco.

Thanks for the new thread toby

purple how annoying.

I am still in labour ward as bleeding stopped then restarted at 3am. Have been trying to sleep, but am on the monitor listening to baby's heartbeat. Hope it stops soon so I can go back to my room on antenatal. Not feeling quite ready for a csection. Am also really hungry as have been nil by mouth since I got up here just in case.

flyawayblue · 18/12/2013 08:07
