Hi Everyone
I thought we should have a thread in here as so many of us have now graduated into the antenatal threads. I know that many good friendships have been made and it would be a shame to lose them because we are all due in different months.
So come on sign in!!

LMAO!!!!!

oh my god! is she ok!!?? whats happening? eeek!

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 13:15

She says 'something' has been leaking for the last hour whilst she was in town, she doesn't think it is wee, but it has worn off now, she can't get hold of her midwife, and she is left with what she is hoping is BH!

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:17

how many weeks is she??? has the leaking stopped?

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:17

sorry, just re read ur post and its worn off

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 13:19

Just checked, I thought she was due early Nov. but she is only a week ahead of me, baby would be 9/10 weeks early... perhaps not quite as exciting, and a little bit more scary...

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:23

yeah i was ust thinking that. i think she needs to get hold of her midwife asap and see what she says...or maybe take a trip to the hospital and get them to take a look at her

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 13:26

I have just suggested that she might want to get to the hospital so they can check, they can sometimes stop the contractions, or at least give the baby steriods to help develope the lungs, if it is her waters though, they won't let her leave the hospital till she has the baby, because of the risk of infection.

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:30

i hope shes ok. let me know if there are any further developments with it...id be scared stiff

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 13:34

She seems to have gone, poor thing is probably in a panic, I will let you know how it goes.

This baby has a real thing for Eminem!! He is normally very quiet at this time of day!

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:37

i really do hope that shes ok

lol @ your babys eminem addiction. mines still at the moment for once. im contemplating wether to watch pulp fiction today or not...dh refuses to watch it with me.

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 13:42

I haven't got the concentration for films at the moment, I get too uncomfortable sitting for that long, and I keep needing a wee/food/drink... Although we did watch Full Monty the other night, when I went to hospital to be induced with DS Full Monty was on on the telly in the ward and so it always reminds me of it all! It is a good funny film as well

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:49

i started watching silence of the lambs last night. i got a head ache about 40 mins in tho so went to bed.
ooo, or theres the usual suspects...i love that film.

im always ready to watch a film...im one of those sad movie buffs lol

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 13:55

I am normally, we have Sky Movies, belong to LoveFilm (one of these on line rental places) and we have Sky+ so we can record films, we don't watch very much normal telly, but, I always end up ruining it at the moment fidgeting or having to pause it while I get myself sorted out.

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 13:59

lol i must admit, i do have to pause the film quite a few times for wee breaks. and thank god for sky+

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 14:03

LOL I have found myself listening to the radio and missed something that has been said and picked up the Sky remote to rewind it!! LOL It is also great for keeping a few of DS's favourite programs on it, so if I need to ring someone or something, I can stick him one on and I know I have 10 minutes to do whatever I need to do, whilst he is quiet!

We have the Sky in the kitchen as well, but it isn't Sky+ and it annoys the hell out of me that I can't pause/rewind it when I want!

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 14:09

we only have sky in the living room. if i had tellys elsewhere in the house id never leave it lol.

im having one of those "i cant be bothered" days today

NatalieJane · 13/09/2006 14:19

I know what you mean, I have actually got things to do now though for the next couple of hours, I'm going to put some washing on, I've got to ring the doctors to see if the baby clinic is still on today (DS needs an injection - can't even remember which one but it is only a childhood imunisation one!) so if it is on we are going to have to jump in a taxi straight from school.

I am starting to wonder if I should turn Eminem off, the baby is going to be exhausted at this rate!!

Well I will probably catch you later on, or tomorrow. Oh, Charlee has just posted on the AN thread, she thinks it was just discharge, BH have worn off, she says her DH will be home from work soon so she will go and have a lie down and relax for a bit. Sounds a bit better!

Anyway, TC xxx

wuzzlefraggle · 13/09/2006 14:22

ok then nat, tc and i'll chat to u again soon xox

glad that the woman on your an thread is ok.

Coriander73 · 14/09/2006 08:52

Baby very active last night but no BH & only had to get up once which was a result! Very bored / fed up...cleaned the fridge yday but am just so sick of getting up, cleaning up, pottering around, same same....& very sick of constant phone calls from MIL & Mother....they're driving me mad!

wuzzlefraggle · 14/09/2006 16:12

thats right, sorry, i remember wishing happy birthday come to think of it...please take no notice of me lol...pregnancy brain. all i can think about properly seems to be curry

HopingCat · 14/09/2006 16:22

Hi everyone.

Cori - I won't say 'are you still here' as you must be getting sick of people saying that now! I just hope it starts soon for you.

Another of my friends has had their baby! So now it's 2 down, 2 to go (including me). She gave birth to a little boy on Tuesday morning. He was born within an hour of her arriving in hospital, weighing 6lb 13oz. It's her second child and she had a very long and quite difficult labour with her dd, so this labour was the complete opposite. I think they are thinking of calling him Isaac but I'm not sure yet.

My other friend was due last week so she will be induced Monday if nothing has happened. So far everyone has had boys, so I hope she has a girl. That way it won't matter if I have a girl or a boy, as they will always have a friend.

wuzzlefraggle · 14/09/2006 16:31

Hi HC - hows u? hope alls well.

cori - i take it that you have packed your labour bag (being so close to the big day and all), so i was just wondering if you have any tips/reminders on what i should put in mine? i have got the obvious ones on my list ie. nappies, dressing gown, maternity pads, toiletries, snacks for dh etc. any advice would be very much appriciated

HopingCat · 14/09/2006 16:41

Hi Wuzzle.
I'm ok thanks. Am almost 33 weeks so am getting heavier all the time. New symptoms keep arriving, like indigestion and constipation, and the iron tablets I've been put on by midwife may make it worse apparently.

Has one of the girls on your thread given birth already?! Is she called Kat? I was reading her thread earlier.

Are you ok? You must be about 35 weeks now?
