Hi Everyone
I thought we should have a thread in here as so many of us have now graduated into the antenatal threads. I know that many good friendships have been made and it would be a shame to lose them because we are all due in different months.
So come on sign in!!

That's it, you go girl, Get all fired up and let loose on them, it will be delivered by the end of the week!! LOL

I did that in my first pregnancy! We bought a leather sofa from Courts before I was PG, they said 6 weeks delivery, by the time I was 16 weeks pregnant, still no sofa, we had been sitting on an air bed propped up against the wall, one day the air bed popped (made me jump out of my skin I was upstairs and it sounded like a gun being fired! So I got on the phone to Courts who had a temporary loan sofa with us by the end of the day!! LOL (They couldn't really do very much about the delay on our sofa as it was coming from Italy, where factories shut down over the summer)

I agree, no company should be able to sell anything that they don't have in stock. Taking an order is fine, but they shouldn't take any money until the good/s have been delivered!

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 09:53

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 09:56

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 09:57

Oh no, no dungarees!! (sorry x posts!)

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 10:09

lol! im considering getting some dungarees, i was just curious to get a second opinion on them. i'll ask the october thread too i think

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 10:21

An old friend of mine lived in dungarees and a dungaree dress thing when she was pregnant, she said they were lovely, not really my kind of thing, but I can see it would be nice not to have any annoying waistbands around your bump.

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 10:31

yeah, and my maternity jeans and trousers keep falling down lol. dungarees cant fall down really.

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 10:34

LOL Just buy some nice braces You'd look lovely!

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 10:40

LOL!!! naa, braces just scream lader-hosen at me lol (forgive the spelling )

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 10:43

LMAO Oh go on, they look so fetching with those black boots with the laces undone and a green felt hat, I might even have a feather you can borrow for your hat!!

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 10:57

PMSL!!!! and i'll eat some bratwurst too lol

what have u got planned for the day then?

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 11:01

LOL Mmmm I've not had a proper German Sausage for years!! (My dad was in the army, we stayed in Germany quite a bit, I was quite young though so don't remember very much of it, just the sausages, and salami )

Plans? Nothing at all! I literally have nothing to do, can't go anywhere, can't talk to anyone, house is as clean as tidy as it can be considering we are decorating everywhere. I think I need to find a hobbie! What about you?

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 11:08

LOL that sounded very dodgy nat

ive got a pair of curtains that i'm going to attempt to hem and hang up a little later, ive got a little bit of a tidy up to do and thats about it lol. im browsing ebay too but the first two can wait a bit

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 11:18

Yes it did, didn't it?!! LOL I will try and engage my brain before hitting post message next time!! LOL

I am staying as far away from eBay as I can get, that is the sort of hobbie I can do with not turning into habit!! Would cost my DH a fortune!!! LOL Besides, all we have to get is the travel system and the carpet, neither of which I would buy from eBay!

I think I might have a shifty through the babies things just for the fun of it, and then who knows?!

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 11:27

i need to make a check list of things that are needed and then start ticking off what ive got i think

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 11:36

I have had lists all over the place since we started buying stuff!! LOL It is very satisfying to look at them now with most of it crossed off! My list is now the T/S, the carpet, some shelves for the room, nappies, nappy bags, a name plate thing for his door (DS has one and so it would look odd if the baby didn't have one!) oh and the monitors.

Have you got your hospital bag sorted?

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 11:41

not yet..its our project for the next week or so. the mw said that it may be a good idea to pack it sooner rather than later just incase.
yep, ok so thats another thing to go on the list of to do things today..must make list of what we have and still need

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 11:44

LOL

Wuzz'z List:

Make a list of things we have
Make a list of things we need to get
Make a list of things to get for hospital bag
Make a list of things we have for hospital bag
Make a list of things to go in hospital bag

LOLOLOL

NatalieJane · 12/09/2006 11:52

It is like I said, I wasn't expecting anything to be wrong, nice to have it all confirmed though! Still don't really know why I had to have it in the first place.

wuzzlefraggle · 12/09/2006 11:57
