Glad I asked on the grooming ... Won't be using Veet... Particularly with swollen purple bits!

Only 4 weeks 4 days or 24 days, with max 20 days in the office to go, not that I'm on countdown!

AnotherStitchInTime · 20/11/2013 08:35

Gosh late pregnancy is so glamourous isn't it?!

Whoever it was that mentioned piles, I find a combination of haemmorhoid cream/pessary and lactulose (to keep stool soft) helps.

Have had so many strangers looking at my fanjo recently as I have to have an uncomfortable speculum examination every time I bleed. I now don't give a monkeys what it looks like so long as I am clean.

Still here, consultant will see me in the morning. At least my kids will visit today, it was harder leaving them this time.

It has been dramas at home after dd2 blocked the toilet with a plastic dolphin. The plumbers had to take the entire toilet off to get it out. Then she hid the baby monitor in the buggy so that it wouldn't alarm when she got out of bed. Minx.

TobyLerone · 20/11/2013 08:43

Grrr to annoying OHs, colds, reflux, naughty DC, being in hospital, still being at work, piles, swollen ladyparts and crap midwives.

Yay for new babies, good NCT classes and another getting to see her DC.

It's so bloody cold today! And wet. Rubbish weather. I'm staying in today to wait for DD's new phone to be delivered. Then, if I can be arsed, I've got to go into town. Oh, the excitement! I'll carry on with the almost-finished baby cardigan I'm knitting.

Sultanajo · 20/11/2013 09:30

Ladies - grrrr! Angry

Great you get to see your kids today another. Woop woop!

Just looked out of the window and its super miserable....doesnt make me wanna go anywhere. I should either be doing an Asda shop (sucks!) or going to town xmas shopping (sucks less but is much further to go). Had an awful nights sleep and really feel as though I could just sleep all day, but have forced myself up! I have no problem falling asleep when I first go to bed, but if I get woken up by DH then thats it, I will be awake for the next 2-3 hours....which is what happened last night. Grrrr!

Gonna get some breakfast and then decide what I can face doing....Hmm

TobyLerone · 20/11/2013 09:37

I had a crappy night's sleep too, sultana. In fact, I can't remember the last time I slept all night. Annoying, isn't it?

DD's phone is coming before 10.30. Boo, hiss. That means I can't really legitimately stay in all day and do nothing :(

MrsGSR · 20/11/2013 10:26

The weather's so horrible I'm not planning on going anywhere! DH has been driving me a little crazy recently, not for any real reason, he's actually being lovely! Went downstairs at about 3am to get some rennies as heartburn woke me up.

Can't remember what's been said, but I hope everyone has a good day despite the weather!

Naturegirl82 · 20/11/2013 10:49

I have to say the weather matches my mood today unfortunately. Work is poo and cockwomble colleague is pestering me about xmas party stuff that I really couldn't give a crap about given the number of deadlines looming!

Glad you get to see your dc's today another

Good luck to those braving the outdoors. It's not nice out there! Brr!

TobyLerone · 20/11/2013 13:25

So I've tried my first ever cup of RLT. I'm frankly underwhelmed after the raving about how delicious it is! I mean... it's not awful. But it basically tastes like all other herbal/fruit teas, to me. They all taste the same!

extracrunchy · 20/11/2013 13:28

Toby try a bit of honey in it!

Geppa and Nom I'm with you and your bored toddlers! I feel awful I can't keep up with DS and reckon he'd prob sleep more if I could run him around a bit more...

I've been on monitor at hospital all morning - went to get checked after I had some strong crampy pain yesterday (just niggly off and on today). Turns out I'm contracting slightly, but cervix is still closed. Bit scary as only just coming up to 35 weeks, but they've sent me home anyway and said go straight in if anything changes. Shiiiiit...

extracrunchy · 20/11/2013 13:28

Oh wrong thread for second bit! (I'm also in Dec thread Grin)

chocoloulou33 · 20/11/2013 13:29

Wow cant believe how bad weather is. Nearly just took off with my umbrella. am waiting for my midwife appointment right now. Shes running late for a change. Am here on my own for first time as me and oh had another big row this morning sob. Feeling so crappy atm. Him having a weeks holiday is meant to be a good thing. Feel like chocolate. If urine is all fine and no glucose again gonna treat myself to a big bar of aero coz ive been v good lately haha x

fryingpantoface · 20/11/2013 13:32

Oh my extra, baby could be here soon. I had that when i was 33 weeks with ds, he ended up coming at 38 weeks. I ended up leaving for mat leave with him at 34 weeks and taking it easy.

OnlyThePurpleOnes · 20/11/2013 13:43

Joining the 'husbands annoying the shite out of us' club. This Morning DH sent me 7 'in progress' photos (some videos too) of the status bar of a file I'd asked him to download and convert for me. I know I asked, and yes he was helping but...gah! Feck off with all the bloody whatsapps! Beeping every 5 minutes while I'm trying to work.

Another your poor toilet! My brother used to do thinks like that when we were little, posting plastic crocodiles into the loo so we'd jump when we opened the lid. Don't think they ever required the removal of the actual loo though...

Been getting a few dizzy spells the last couple of days. I think possibly from blood pressure changes from sitting at my desk for too long (so Dr Google tells me anyway). I'm starting to flag a bit now, and I don't remember feeling it this early last time. But then I didn't have a toddler last time. Roll on maternity leave.

fryingpantoface · 20/11/2013 13:56

I'm flagging too! I've been at work 8-12, then had to do the mad rush and pick up ds from nursery. Just sitting down to watch Vera now.

there's an ebayer who is doing my head in at the moment. I won a train for ds on Sunday. Normally i pay straight away but paypal are being silly beggers and my card needs registering again, but the bank won't register it... Blah blah.

so i got a reminder to pay on Monday, then another yesterday, and I'm expecting another when i check my emails. It's ticking me off. I'm gonna email today explaining the issues but it's overkill all these reminders isn't it? It's Wednesday for crying out loud

Mythreeknights · 20/11/2013 14:20

Hi all, just at the eye hospital and I am next to go in. No idea what will happen but am desperate to have the 'thing' removed. Post consultation I need to drive back up to collects ds1&2 from nursery 1.5hrs away. So much for having a supportive dh who 'simply couldnt' change his flights back from London today to help out.

fryingpantoface · 20/11/2013 14:35

Bloody hell kings, that's awful! Why couldn't he change the flights?

I've just measured my own fundal height. I've measured it as 36cm, so 4cm ahead.

waiting to see what the midwife says I'm two weeks but heres hoping Bug 2 will be early

chocoloulou33 · 20/11/2013 14:45

Hope all goes well with appointment mythree let us know x

TobyLerone · 20/11/2013 14:51

frying, have you messaged the seller previously to let them know what's happening? I routinely report buyers for non-payment after 3 days, having been messed around too many times. And I probably would send reminders before doing that.
PayPal is an arse. DH refuses to use ebay any more because PayPal is so crap.
Good luck with it! Ebay is usually more trouble than it's worth lately.

Good luck, mythree!

Hope the contractions ease for another few weeks, extra.

enormouse · 20/11/2013 15:03

Argh. I am seriously getting to the end of my very very short tether.

After months and months of calm I thought all was fine on the tooth horizon, but no ds is cutting a molar. Poor little man. I thought it was the terrible twos and it turns out he's actually in pain. Feel so guilty. I would take him out to distract him but we're stuck indoors waiting for the postie. Also need to restock the calpol. He's finally been placated with a toasted bacon soda farl and Dr who. I tried putting him down for a nap but he screamed the place down to such an extent I thought the neighbours would report me.

Go for the aero choco sounds like you deserve it.
Toby I feel the same about rlt. Just seems generic grassy and herby to me.
mythree it's good you're being checked out but that is irritating of him.

Sorry to everyone I've missed out but I'm thinking of you and hope you're having a nice day, in spite of everything.

Ps - Anyone with irritating DPs and troublesome toddlers fancy booking into a Travelodge with me and spending a few days watching tv and eating crap? I'm only slightly joking. Wink

fryingpantoface · 20/11/2013 15:15

Ah thanks Toby, you can't message them from my mobile, so just logged on the laptop to tell them. All my feedback says I pay asap which I'm hoping goes some way to back my story up about PayPal.

It's a proper crap position though, I hadn't thought that the seller might just think I was dicking about.

Fuck me. Apparently it is skin cancer.

MrsVDB · 20/11/2013 15:20

fryingpantoface · 20/11/2013 15:27

Are you ok?

extracrunchy · 20/11/2013 15:47

Mythree that's very scary to hear - what are your next steps? Hugs
