Hello!

So I'm actually due around 27th July but I went two weeks overdue with my first so I'm pretty sure this will be an August baby Smile

Is there anyone else who is newly pregnant and would like to join me?

Hi Holly yes I had cramps last week too but not today. I do think pink is pretty normal. Sorry for tmi but mine is creamy pink. In sept when I had miscarriage the final days were like very light period so you defo can tell when there's prob. If it's just pink I think let your body do its things as some says it's our uterus stretching out to accommodate. Fingers crossed! I know it's tough but staying relax probably is the only thing that will help...if cramps and pink cm intensifies then maybe worth checking out at epu just to be safe. Lots of love x

DinkyMole · 26/11/2013 07:24

Pink cm sounds fairly normal from what I've read. Fingers crossed it stops for you soon Smile

Welcome fluffy Smile

Slightly more nauseous this morning. I was so tired last night that I was in bed by half 8!

baggyoldcow · 26/11/2013 07:54

Well good morning ladies (and welcome newcomers).
I'm sorry to hear funky and holly and ally are all having the pink cm thing too. I'm on day 5 of it now.
BUT, worrying though it seems do try not to worry as Ally says. It is very common in healthy pregnancies. (I had dreadful low back pain yesterday too, and all my googling revealed that this plus pink CM was sure doom).

So I had my scan this morning.
You cannot believe my shock when it showed TWINS.
Yes, I'll just repeat that, TWINS.
That means FIVE children for baggy, if all goes well. How on earth will I cope? I don't know what to make of this news, really - it is very scary but very sweet as well.
I should add on a cautionary note that there were no heartbeats yet as it's too early so I have to go back in 10-14 days, but the really positive thing was that both were bang on size for the dates and there was no sign of bleeding around either sac (or elswhere).

TWINS. Can I just say that again? [runs screaming from the bus]

DinkyMole · 26/11/2013 07:56

O-M-G!! Baggy!! Twins!! Grin

TheBookofRuth · 26/11/2013 07:56

Twins! Oh my god, baggy, congratulations! You must be thrilled - and terrified!

Hollyjokes · 26/11/2013 08:03

Thanks guys, that's really reassuring Smile I have some cramping this morning but no further pink cm. Fx all is ok.

Hi fluffy and welcome Smile

Twins! Omg! Bet that was a shock for you! TWINS!!! Are there twins in the family?! Wowzers! What country are you in baggy? I know you've mentioned time difference before.

Ally and Holly, I have had cramps on and off since bfp. Still in bed hiding from the world. About to get up for knicker check and get ready for work.

It's hard isn't it funky, I was terrified to go to the loo this morning in case I saw blood. I'm feeling a bit better now though thanks to the reassurance of ladies on this thread, and a bit of googling (I know!) which has shown me that cramps and pink cm are pretty normal at this stage. Still scary though!

Blamenargles · 26/11/2013 08:34

Baggy!! TWINS so exciting you will be fine

2beornot · 26/11/2013 08:39

OMG! Twins!!! What a shock that must've been! Guess we need to change the roll-call to say DC#4&5!!!!

Hope everyone else is ok. I'm still I denial a bit that it has actually happened!!

funkymonk · 26/11/2013 08:47

Holly, yeah its still pretty terrifying despite reassure and consulting Dr Google. I'm on another thread on here for women over 30 TTC #1 and some of the ladies on their graduates thread who are further on with pregnancy are saying they also had pink cm and/or spotting. It's also reassuring that you, me and Ally are all due 27/28 July so potentially at exactly same stage. My mc started out as brown spotting that got heavier and turned red.

funkymonk · 26/11/2013 08:48

*despite reassurance

baggyoldcow · 26/11/2013 08:51

he he he. How do I concentrate on work with this news? OMG, OMG (twice, obviously).
I'm in Kenya, funky, been working here for 5 years. Thank goodness, we can have nannies aplenty. No twins in the family, but I've read (just now, am googling like mad!) that age (am 39) increases the likelihood. It was a bit of a punt whether to go for no. 4 - but FIVE?!
I honestly cannot begin to imagine how I will cope with a multiple pregnancy. Just think of the back ache! Aagh.
But thanks for the congrats! There's hope for everyone with pink cm!
x

funkymonk · 26/11/2013 08:55

Ooo Kenya! Very exotic! Yes, concentrating in work will be hard for you today! 5 kiddies! Bet you were gob smacked when you saw 2 in there! Shock

Morganlove · 26/11/2013 09:08

Wow! Double wow - twins!!! Exciting but also scary. Congratulations! Good luck trying to concentrate at work, I'm struggling and all I know so far is that I'm pregnant, no idea how many beans there are in there (although no history so guessing just the one!).

Sending very best wishes to all who are getting pink cm, no experience but know it is common. I'm at about the same stage so knicker checking has increased yet again. Just when you thought it was safe to come out of the water......

Hollyjokes · 26/11/2013 09:24

Wow Kenya, fantastic! What did your DH say baggy? I bet you're both in shock right now but it really is just amazing news! I'm so pleased for you Smile

OP posts:
Hollyjokes · 26/11/2013 09:25

Oh and I am now desperate to book an early scan to check how many I've got in there! Grin

OP posts:
DinkyFrinkbuster · 26/11/2013 09:39

Oh my word! Congrats Baggy! Nannies are definitely the way forward :-)

Hollyjokes · 26/11/2013 12:09

TMI

After having pink mucous on the loo roll last night and nothing this morning, I went to the loo about half an hour ago and had pink stringy discharge on the paper. Same again just now, about 30mins later.

Feeling really worried again now Hmm

OP posts:
2beornot · 26/11/2013 12:32

Holly - big hugs. Have you phoned Dr or EPU? If you're worried at all it pays to get it checked out.

Hollyjokes · 26/11/2013 12:35

Thanks 2be, no haven't phoned anyone yet as I wasn't sure if they'd see me this early? I'm 5+2 today.

OP posts:
funkymonk · 26/11/2013 12:46

I don't think Epu see you before 6 weeks?? I'm sure all ok holly. Xx

GillyMac93 · 26/11/2013 13:03

Can I join ? Just found out I'm expecting my first due 2nd august Grin
