Hello!

So I'm actually due around 27th July but I went two weeks overdue with my first so I'm pretty sure this will be an August baby Smile

Is there anyone else who is newly pregnant and would like to join me?

Ooh welcome ally and 2be Smile

Hair dye is okay I think. I love that just had your hair done feeling Smile

No sickness here yet but only 3w6d. Tiredness has set in already and so has hormonal rage. People in my job are just so STUPID! Grr.

On a happier note, DF is booking an early scan for me on his lunch break :)

Babymamatobe · 21/11/2013 12:43

I've just text my hairdresser and she said its fine to dye your hair, NHS website says yes as well !!

Hollyjokes · 21/11/2013 14:19

Thanks baby & dinky - I just got a cut today but will probably get a colour done too next time Smile

Dinky I think I have the rage too! While I was just out all the other drivers on the road seriously pissed me off for little things like failing to indicate! Grrr!

Anyone else still POAS? I was resisting all week and then had a sudden urge to 'reconfirm' this afternoon and popped to the chemist.
Am pleased to say it was a nice thick strong line! Am now 5 weeks. Phew.

funkymonk · 21/11/2013 16:28

Welcome newcomers! Congratulations!
I've peed on a stick everyday since positive test last Friday! Quite dark lines now. Have got a digital to do tomorrow as I want to see 2-3 weeks! You ladies are worrying me as my only symptom so far is being bloated. I really wish I could be sick or have sore boobs! After mc in july everything worries me. Been to book in with gp today!

baggyoldcow · 21/11/2013 16:50

oh don't worry funky, my boobs are only very slightly sore, if really pushed hard. Otherwise the bloat is all. You will be fine! good luck for the 2-3 weeks tomorrow!

2beornot · 21/11/2013 16:56

Might be tempted to POAS next week as line wasn't particularly strong. It's a good idea at this stage but tbh (and I don't want to bring the mood down) when I had my mmc in June I has some bleeding so someone suggested I POAS. I got two strong lines and that was 4 days before my 12 wk scan when mmc was revealed. So I don't put too much hope on that.

Sorry I'm just so nervous. I'm thinking of booking a viability scan at 8 wks. At least I could enjoy Christmas!!

funkymonk · 21/11/2013 17:28

Thanks baggy!
I understand your fears 2be. I have a 7.5 week scan booked for 11th Dec. I had just started investigations at fertility clinic and they do viability scans for all their patients which was good to hear.
Think I do have another sympton actually. Keep getting intermittent cramps that make me feel like I urgently need to poop (sorry!!), but when I dash to the loo I'm just really constipated! sorry tmi!

Hollyjokes · 21/11/2013 17:58

I don't have sore boobs either, I'm just really tired and bloated. I have on/off nausea, but not as much as last week, which feels a bit weird.

I completely understand your fears ladies, especially those who've had previous losses and/or difficulty conceiving. I can't even imagine the heartbreak of getting all the way to 12wks and then finding out the worst Hmm

OP posts:
DinkyMole · 21/11/2013 19:19

I don't have many symptoms either. Just tiredness and excessive saliva haha! Work is really busy and stressful and I'm worried about that affecting the baby.

Booked in with the midwife for 17th Dec, feels like forever away! DF is going to book an early scan for me for the week before Christmas.

Only have one test left now so I'll save that til next week. Did the digi this morning and took a picture so that's nice to keep looking at Smile

Allypallyjelly · 21/11/2013 19:46

Hi girls !
Glad to hear you guys are doing well :)
Yes urge to POAS to check every other day but can get quite expensive. Smth you guys might find helpful is I found out the most easy to read test and affordable one is from tesco. £3.4 for two tests and if you want clearblue digi go to eBay there's this guy selling for £3.84 for two digi tests! Reason being expiring 30 Nov and those expiring later are only a quid more expensive. So I've bought 2xlisting meaning 4 digi tests yuhuuu!

talulahbelle · 21/11/2013 19:48

I had loads of sickness yesterday but feel loads better today, practically normal now. So now I'm worrying again. Isn't it stupid, it's only when feeling rubbish I feel reassured.

holly I'm a bit bloated as well, I'm wearing my fat trousers most of the time and changing into joggers in the evening.

dinky I have a digital test to do this weekend. I'm hoping the date indicator will have gone up.

Hollyjokes · 21/11/2013 19:59

I'm thinking of buying another digi too for reassurance. I've only got cheapies in the house but I've resisted using any for two whole days now!

Talulah I tried on a pair of my old maternity jeans today and they were soooo comfy! I need to resist the urge to wear them out - it's far too early for that yet, right?!

Morning ladies! I have woken up with tonsillitis rearing it's head after it seeming to have gone away on Tuesday. In work extra today as well as part of the business on strike so we'll be really busy Hmm

BUT - my little pregnancy app says I'm 4 weeks today and baby is no longer a bundle of cells but has a head and tail! Can't remember the last time I was this excited Grin

Hollyjokes · 22/11/2013 08:43

Aw dinky, it's amazing how fast our little beans grow isn't it Smile My app says that mine is the size of an orange seed! Hope that work being busy means that the day goes quickly for you.

I am so nauseous today and my sense of smell has gone a bit mental. I really hope that I don't end up with full blown morning sickness. I had an awful time with it last pregnancy so I'm a bit scared of doing it again. How is everyone else feeling today?

baggyoldcow · 22/11/2013 10:07

Morning all. TMI ALERT!

Went to the loo this morning and had the tiniest string of blood in some CM on the paper. Panicked of course.

Nothing more since.

Keep fingers crossed this isn't the beginning of the end for me.

DinkyMole · 22/11/2013 10:51

Fx for you baggy. None since sounds like a good sign Smile

Holly, I had it really bad last time too and nervous of it happening again. I just seem really tearful at the moment. Already burst into tears at work today. Beginning to think I'll have to tell someone before they think I've gone mental Grin

2beornot · 22/11/2013 10:52

Morning ladies.

Baggy - have all my fingers and toes crossed for you x

I still can't quite believe its real. I won't let myself get too excited yet

Allypallyjelly · 22/11/2013 11:31

baggy - same here last night too. Like pink snots sorry tmi.
Fingers crossed all ok. I'm trying not to stress over it as back in September that's how it started (albeit much more and darker pink too) and ended by 9 weeks. But it was much worse than just a tiny bit. So I know this isn't as bad and ill try to be positive for my own sanity and also for baby development. Hugs baggy

Allypallyjelly · 22/11/2013 11:33

Other than headaches, diarrhea, frequenting loo, insomnia, dull tummy ache, I don't have any typical preg symptoms!

Hollyjokes · 22/11/2013 12:59

Ally & baggy, I'm keeping everything crossed that everything will be ok for you both x

OP posts:
Allypallyjelly · 22/11/2013 13:25

Thanks Holly same to you x

Hollyjokes · 22/11/2013 15:46

I'm supposed to be going out tonight to a party with DH and I REALLY can't be bothered. I am SO tired. I was hoping to grab a nap this afternoon while DD sleeps, but she has refused her nap so I've had to stay up. I need to get her stuff ready for her to stay at my parents plus get myself ready to go out but I just don't have the energy! The thought of having to make conversation with people while they all get pissed is not appealing to me right now. I'd love to not go but I have to Hmm

Sorry, moan over! I think that the pregnancy anti-socialness (that's a word, right?!) has definitely kicked in!!

Allypallyjelly · 22/11/2013 18:32

Oh Holly completely get what you mean! I'm dreading all the work Xmas do's already!! Where I have to say sorry I'm not drinking cos I have a kidney infection or smth!!
