August 2014 - very early days but so excited!

So I'm actually due around 27th July but I went two weeks overdue with my first so I'm pretty sure this will be an August baby

Is there anyone else who is newly pregnant and would like to join me?

I'm more nervous too, Funny, and I've not had am MC. It's understandable for you and silly for me.

Does anyone get a feeling like a stitch? I took DD for an hour long walk earlier and I got a stitch-like pain. Or maybe it was a stitch from pushing the pram? :-/

I'm getting the teacher guilt but I'm then double over the toilet I know that the children are better off without me, less of them will end up in detention if I'm not there - the smallest things wind me up!

I had the same window last week but it got worse over the weekend and now every smell makes me boak! Lush!

My doc's close on a Wednesday too Dinky it's really annoying as I always seem to need them on a Wednesday!!

So I went to the dr for confirmation as wasn't feeling v pg and poas there which came up strongly and am now typically feeling quite sick! But booked a flu jab for next week. I am also a teacher and last time I found teaching unbearable. Fond memories of throwing up into my bin just before the students came in :-) . Should definitely have taken time off!!

Just called the doctor to get an appointment and they no longer ask you to see a doctor to confirm so she's booked my booking in appointment for beginning Jan and sent off for my scan! Feels so real all of a sudden.

I called to chase my booking in appt and it's in 9th Jan and my scan is 27th. It looks like they're using the first day of spotting as my LMP even though it wasn't AF.

It's all a bit real now. Maybe we will book a private scan in the meantime.

Getting little jealous of you guys who have dates for your booking in appointments and scans. I saw my GP this morning. Not sure you usually have to but I had medications to discuss etc so needed to be seen. So he referred me this morning. How long does it take to get a date for the appointments? I've only known for 4 days and it feels like ages so impatience is high.

I found out I was pregnant on 18th November. Booking not til 17th December. Booked private early scan for Monday (will be 7+3) as I am the most impatient person I know!

What was that I was saying about not having cramps? Just got cramps! Had to rush to the loo at work as I was convinced I was starting to bleed. Thankfully not.....

I've got my booking in and first scan on 23rd December, lovely Xmas present!

I just wish I didn't feel so horrendous! Not liking pregnancy so far

Hungry my booking in appt is 9th too. They offered me the week before but that's my DC2s birthday so I had to decline lol.
My scan should be early feb I think.

People who have had scans, did you see the heartbeat and how far were you? I'm thinking of booking scan for next Wednesday, I'm still not 100% how far I am, LMP 26th October means 6 weeks 4 days but I'm sure I ovulate day 18 not 14 so would be 6 weeks, so I'll be either 7 or 7 and a half weeks by next weds. DH is worried it's too soon to see HB and I'll come away more worried than I'll go, any one able to offer some advice?

Some places only do them from 8 weeks, some from 7. I think if they don't have a 'dildo cam' it's better from 8 as you're more likely to see something.

We are going to wait til after Christmas to book a private scan. I want to feel more pregnant first and hope (kind of) that I'm feeling sick by then as I really don't feel pregnant most of the time right now.

Nausea and sore boobs still here, have had weird dreams the last two nights, both more like nightmares really, so vivid!

Having seen the nurse at my doctors last Wednesday, I've still not had an appointment through. Should I chase?

Fluffy, I'd give it til Monday. It's got to be typed, then will probably be sent 2nd class in the Christmas post.

Can I join please? I've lurked on the buses and I got my positive two weeks ago but didn't want to get too excited after an early mc in October. This will be our first and due on August 11th! We had our first doctors appointment yesterday and the doctor gave me the flu jab whilst we were there- two birds with one stone...

The doctor is booking us in for an early scan because of the mc so hopefully will get in before Christmas. All still feels so unreal- like I've made it up in my head!!

Evening ladies, well I ended yesterday and started today restless, arms and wrists hurting. So decided to go to the doctor. He thinks I've started with carpel tunnel!!! Crappest illness when your a hairdresser!!! Feeling just poo!!!

Also had my first doctor's appointment today and got the flu jab! Been referred now but not expecting to hear back too soon, what with the Xmas post and how buys things are right now!

Welcome to the newcomers

I'm not bad, feeling quite worried that something isn't right, not feeling very sick today and I've had no other symptoms yet, well I had a nose bleed on Monday if that counts but apart from that nothing. I'm probably being paranoid though cos I went out at the weekend and got hideously drunk (found out I was pregnant 2 days after!) so I'm panicking

Hmm DH thinks maybe 9th Aug! First scan will tell!
