Hello!

So I'm actually due around 27th July but I went two weeks overdue with my first so I'm pretty sure this will be an August baby Smile

Is there anyone else who is newly pregnant and would like to join me?

Morning ladies. Still no symptoms here but then I am only 4+2! Can't believe it still. Still not told anyone, will tell close family at around 6-8 weeks I think. It might become obvious over Christmas (I really wanted Beef Wellington but can't have it now plus the lack of alcohol!) but hopefully with my history my friends won't ask.

Glad those with pink spotting are getting symptoms though - def a good sign!!!

Wow! Baggy, so you'll have 5 under 7?! That's going to be one manic house! I bet it seems scary now but you'll look back and wonder what the fuss was all about!

Hollyjokes · 27/11/2013 09:07

Ok so I just did puke Hmm Feeling reassured by the obvious symptoms but still feeling totally rubbish!

Ally let us know how you get on today x

2be I don't think I could hide it over Christmas either! There's going to be loads of family at my parents and I think it'll be pretty obvious when I turn down the sparkling wine, pâté and cheese board! Grin

Great stuff, Holly! Nothing like a good old puke to remind you you're up the duff Wink
I only felt a tiny bit nauseous with my first, after that none. And it was waves of nausea with that horrible tingly mouth I only get before being sick (is that something other people get, btw)?
But this time I do feel a little bit sick, not in the same way, more a dull, slight discomfort in my tummy. All you people with MS, please describe how it feels!
I feel so hungry, I'm just off now to eat a horse.
Good news, Ally with the CB digitals!
Yes, 2be, I am seriously concerned about my sanity if we have 5! We were wondering whether to try for 4, but I said we'll just take one on each hand...but what do we do with the 5th??? I just know I'll lose one somewhere Blush

2beornot · 27/11/2013 09:56

Baggy - I get that nauseous feeling too! It's all I had with dd, no actual puking thank god! Grin more children than hands - hadn't thought of it that way! At least you can fit them in one car, albeit a big one!

I've just remembered the wicked mulled cider DH and I make. With sloe gin in it too-honestly it's so strong I couldn't even sniff it!!

Hollyjokes · 27/11/2013 10:09

Baggy I get tingly mouth too! Definitely had it this morning so I knew I was going to puke.

With DD I had hyperemesis so the nausea was constant, and shortly after anything at all passing my lips I'd have that belly ache feeling and tingly mouth until I threw up. When my stomach was empty I'd throw up again anyway, just saliva and bile (sorry!) It was truly awful!

I've had on/off nausea for a while now and then vomited this morning. I still feel a bit queasy now but I don't think I'm going to be sick again at the moment. If I don't get any worse than this then I can cope with it. I seriously couldn't do hyperemesis again, especially now that I already have one DC to look after!

Aw baggy I'm sure having 5 children will be tough, but I'm also sure that once they're that little bit older they will all play together nicely and hopefully you'll get a bit of a break? I bet that DCs 4&5 will slot right into your family, and before long it will be like they've always been there Smile

Oh holly though that's a good sign but sorry you're feeling rubbish with the puking. Remember to drink lots of liquid though to keep hydrated.
Yeah baggy this forum is still rejoicing your twins double whammy news! Cake
Not sure if these numbers make sense to anyone but got the results :
Beta hcg: 9442
Progesterone : 130
Fwded to my consultant to take a look and let me know if anything I should be worried about considering just had mc in sept.
Sending love to everyone xxx

Hollyjokes · 27/11/2013 11:18

Thanks ally, I just had a lie down and feel a bit better for it.

I'm by no means an expert but those results look good to me? Hope that your consultant is able to reassure you further x

Hi ally

According to this americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html

You are 6 weeks pregnant - sounds good! Don't know about the progesterone levels though.

ItsSoFluffyImGonnaDie · 27/11/2013 12:48

'Tingly mouth' describes it so well! I've been having it during the last two days (no puking yet though) but have felt a bit queasy during the evenings since Sunday. I now have a pack of mints in my coat pocket as feeling like that on the tube is not fun!

Apart from tender boobs, I feel really hungry especially after I've eaten - what's that all about?! Grin

TheBookofRuth · 27/11/2013 14:00

Ugh. I'm not feeling nauseous very often, but I seem to be entering a phase I remember from last time, where literally NO food seems appealing. I'm eating because I have to rather than because I want to.

Last time this came after a phase where I was constantly ravenous and literally couldn't stop eating - seem to have skipped it so far this time.

And I'm knackered and grumpy and full of cold. I know the last one has nothing to do with being pregnant but it doesn't help!

ItchyBodCrane · 27/11/2013 14:01

Sorry about the sickness! Hope I will be lucky and escape that symptom.

Thanks for the reassurance about symptoms coming and going. I will try to restrain myself from poking my boobs. Well, at least until I get home.

Blamenargles · 27/11/2013 14:07

Ally that sounds good.

Holly I was nearly sick at work this morning not fun.

First day back at work after 10 days off and the trousers feel tight!! Hope that's down to constipation or it's going to be hard to hide bump Confused

DinkyFrinkbuster · 27/11/2013 15:55

No-one else has mentioned it so I will...is anyone really very, um, windy?

DinkyMole · 27/11/2013 16:01

Yup. Probably should rename myself to ParpyMole Grin

DinkyFrinkbuster · 27/11/2013 16:20

Glad it's not just me. Think I've scares my toddler a few times!

Hollyjokes · 27/11/2013 16:32

I'm not windy at all but sort of wish I was - it might give me some relief from this horrible constipation! Sorry TMI! Grin

Is anyone else counting down the hours till bedtime? I am SO tired!

OP posts:
DinkyMole · 27/11/2013 16:35

Oh no Holly I have that too. Either that or the total opposite. The joys!

GillyMac93 · 27/11/2013 16:36

Just off to the doctors to confirm pregnancy , wAs going to wait a few weeks but I don't feel
Comfortable taking the painkillers I'm on for my back without checking . Feels quite real now! I don't think it will really hit me until the scan Smile

Allypallyjelly · 27/11/2013 16:53

Thanks 2beornot, blame and all
Feeling much more nauseous today (maybe it's psychological!) but agree with blame that trousers are getting slightly tighter now!!
tallulah how did your scan go?

TheBookofRuth · 27/11/2013 19:06

Just had a very dizzy spell whilst leaning over to run my DD's bath. Had to just sit on the bathroom floor till someone came and rescued me, then lie on our bed feeling useless till the room stopped spinning while DH dealt with DD.

GillyMac93 · 27/11/2013 19:21

Hope your ok Ruth

DinkyFrinkbuster · 27/11/2013 19:29

I had an afternoon of that 6 weeks in last time but that was the extent of my sickness. Hopefully you'll be the same!

Hollyjokes · 27/11/2013 19:38

Oh Ruth I hope you're ok, how are you feeling now?

How did your appointment go gilly?

OP posts:
TheBookofRuth · 27/11/2013 19:44

Thanks guys. I don't feel as dizzy anymore, just a bit...spacey. I've had a few dizzy spells recently but that was the worst.

talulahbelle · 27/11/2013 20:11

Tiny bit of pink spotting for me this evening. I feel more nauseous, and still bloated and erring more often, but my sore boobs seem completely back to normal.
So scared.
My early scan isn't until Monday, I don't know how I'm going to cope with the wait.
