Hurrah dot. All these instadiffers repeat PESHers Wink Fingers crossed all goes really smoothly this time. But if the end result is anything as cute as the little mister, I am sure you'll put up with whatever is needed

Sounds like you're okay re: GD sink. Try not too panick too much.

We went out for dinner last night, a first in 7 weeks. I seem to be regaining a little energy :) but then I dreamed I had a bleed, I reckon it was my very unhappy digestive system.

evilgiraffe · 14/12/2013 09:10

Excellent news, dor! Grin

FrankelInFoal · 14/12/2013 09:22

I'm being brave today. Off to that there London to meet friends for lunch, then out to see Jersey Boys with HWHNN, night in London then a spot of last minute shopping tomorrow before returning home Confused

FriendofDorothy · 14/12/2013 09:39

Sounds lovely Frank.

I could really do with getting off The Rock for a couple of days.

OComeAllYeFaithFul · 14/12/2013 10:57

Dor it's such great news you're diffed! It'll be busy with a small age gap but I bet the little Mister will be a great big brother!

Enjoy your time in the big smoke Frank. We are enjoying a weekend at home for the first time in about 4 weeks! even if SIL called us selfish for refusing to travel to Manchester to see them!

MyNameIsWinkly · 14/12/2013 11:51

Yay dor, that's marvellous news! Congratulations :)

Shame you're not in the big smoke longer frank, we could have met for Cake

faif your SIL can go baby dance herself. Enjoy being at home.

My new laptop has just arrived! Hooray for the student loans company finally paying back the money they stole

MyNameIsWinkly · 14/12/2013 11:58

Meant to say, I have a busy weekend coming up. HWCA and I are going to the theatre tonight (to see The Nightmare Before Christmas, in case anyone thinks we're kulchured) then doing a 4 hour round trip to have lunch with relatives that tbh I couldn't be arsed with. They've treated me like shit, I'm only going because one is my mum's sister, and my mum has lost 2 brothers and cut another one out over the last 6 years so she's mad keen on staying close to the rest, no matter how enormously cock-ish they act Hmm

FrankelInFoal · 16/12/2013 08:10

Morning Hags, hope everyone's weekend was good. Jersey Boys was A-maz-ing - quite a bit of swearing though, which surprised me for a musical! We had a nice time wandering around Covent Garden and picked up a few last minute presents

Anyone heard from Nokks lately? D-Day is getting close!

I've worked out this morning that I only have 26 days left in work before I finish work Shock

franky I am here my love ! Off to see the midwife in a minute for my 38 week appointment. The nursery is finished, CASAF is no longer firmly ensconced in the dawg house and we have agreed on names which are most definitely not Viking ones. All is calm here.....Grin. Oh, did you hear about the mare that Frankel knocked-up ? She was sold (or was it the foal, can't remember) for about four million bucks Shock. I thought of you and wondered if you were at the back, bidding furiously !

dor many many many congratulations ! Really great news.

twonks scannage this week, no ? How are you feeling ?

sinks sorry to hear about your troubles. What a right pain in the cock. Has it been sorted out now ? These tests absolutely scare the shit out if you, don't they ?

On another really (hopefully) positive note, I really hope it's euro's time. A faint BFP is great. I shall be hoping the little blighter sticks like Mr Sticky from Sticky Land.

FriendofDorothy · 16/12/2013 10:42

So, last time I was pregnant I took aspirin. Should I take it again this time?

FrankelInFoal · 16/12/2013 11:02

Glad to hear it Noks, I was getting worried you might have laid already!

I watched the mare sell for 4million over t'internet. The sale was round the corner from my office but I had to go home to head for my antenatal class. She's called Dancing Rain and is currently in the field behind my BF's house - she lives on the stud that bought her! She said she's a lovely mare - very tall and likes to snuffle for polo's Grin

Dor I can't help on the aspirin front. Maybe call your GP, or even your local EPU for advice?

OP posts:
Nokkie73 · 16/12/2013 11:09

Is that like you are franks ? Grin

FrankelInFoal · 16/12/2013 11:18

Not the tall part Wink

OP posts:
Nokkie73 · 16/12/2013 11:47

I shall make sure I send you some polos for Christmas !

KatAndKit · 16/12/2013 11:48

dor what was the reason you took aspirin last time? I would see the doctor before taking it again. Generally aspirin is a no no in pregnancy unless you have blood clotting issues.

FriendofDorothy · 16/12/2013 12:27

I can't remember why I took aspirin last time. Maybe because I am fat?!

I went to see my GP this morning (the bonus of having to pay to see a GP means it is easy to get appointments!) and he has had a feel of my belly, taken my blood pressure and sent the referral off to the specialists.

I am still just holding my breath a bit and hoping it doesn't all go tits up.

I also have a horrid stinking cold.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/12/2013 14:08

Fingers crossed both yours and euro's will be very sticky wins!

Just a quick question, coldy flu-y symptoms when diffed, treated with honey and lemon and possibly paracetamol? I feel so rough, I am on my way home now...

OComeAllYeFaithFul · 16/12/2013 14:52

Yes that's fine drizz. I took paracetamol all the way through my pregnancy (and codeine!) so just to ride out a cold is fine.

MyNameIsWinkly · 17/12/2013 09:54

Morning all. Today is mostly cleaning, wrapping the last of the presents, then a pub quiz tonight. I've been sleeping more than I ever have in my life but have had such vivid dreams, I don't wake up feeling especially rested.

Scan tomorrow, & I'm fretting about getting told off for being a major fatty too. Poo.

FrankelInFoal · 17/12/2013 10:26

The tiredness really got me around the same stage Winks, I think there was a period of 5-6 weeks where if I didn't go to bed by 9pm I could barely function the next day!

29 weeks today Shock Turnip has become very wriggly in the last week or so, definitely more defined "movement" as opposed to just kicking me all the time!

OP posts:
FrankelInFoal · 17/12/2013 10:27

Sorry, should have added - have you got a morn

OP posts:
FrankelInFoal · 17/12/2013 10:30

Hmm, not having a good time with this typing lark!

Is it a morning or afternoon scan Winks?

OP posts:
Nokkie73 · 17/12/2013 13:02

Oh good luck twonks. Ignore any fattest remarks.

franks lovely to hear that turnip is so active. Have you been having regular check-ups ? It's so nice when they move about (even in the middle of the night, like the nipper does).

OComeAllYeFaithFul · 17/12/2013 13:08

I am fairly fat twinky and all they ever said was to have a GTT, that was fine. Never mentioned again. Good luck for today :)

Aw wriggly turnip!

KatAndKit · 17/12/2013 13:19

Same here. I am ample of belly too. Last time i escaped the GTT but new midwife must be following guidelines more so will have it this time. Nobody has made any remarks about my weight. I just try not to gain too much in pregnancy as far as possible. Not doing so great at that this time round!
