Good luck easy!

I had some pickled onion this afternoon and now I'm terribly sick again.. Noooo.. When is this going to get better? :(

MyNameIsWinkly · 24/11/2013 18:46

Good luck cheesy!

I have another private scan tomorrow evening, I decided to get it after my little bleed this week. All was fine at 6+3, I should be showing 9+1 tomorrow, fingers crossed!

bee024 · 24/11/2013 19:09

Good luck Cheesy, I have my scan tomorrow too! Can't wait!

Liquidambar · 24/11/2013 19:13

Can't wait to hear about the scans bee and cheesy :)
Good luck!

AuntPittypat · 24/11/2013 19:26

Good luck cheesy and bee. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

My scan's on Weds and I'm alternating between being terrified and thinking very matter of factly about it. Seem to have convinced myself that it will be sad news as I really identified with Penguin's loss of symptoms... I'm also not usually this pessimistic about things so think I am subconsciously aware of something. Basically just tying myself up in knots!

cheesysmile · 24/11/2013 19:27

Thanks ladies! Good luck to you too Bee & Winkly Smile

AuntPittypat · 24/11/2013 19:30

Oh, sorry Winkly, I missed that you have a scan tomorrow too. Good luck!

littlepickly · 24/11/2013 19:32

Good luck ladies with scans tomorrow! Look forward to hearing.

hackneybird · 24/11/2013 19:36

Good luck for scans tomorrow.

pitty I know it's easier said than done but don't worry too much. At this stage as the placenta takes over it's common to feel some improvement in sickness and fatigue. And some people are just lucky and don't suffer as much as others!

ohcluttergotme · 24/11/2013 19:39

Hope your feeling a bit less stressed super. I so get work stress, I started new job 6 months ago and full timer has just left. I feel so stressed and worry I'm damaging baby. Really feeling anxious that everything's ok with baby. Can you put all thoughts of work aside for tonight and maybe make appointment for GP for the morning and explain how things are feeling overwhelming?
Good luck to those with scans tomorrow, I've not got mine til 5th December which still feels ages away

AuntPittypat · 24/11/2013 19:50

Thanks Hackney. I know it's silly to worry as there's nothing I can do about it anyway... Just hate these last couple of days of waiting!

Vickyvix · 24/11/2013 19:55

Good luck winkly cheesy and bee :)

I have done a load around the house today, gardening, hoovering, cleaning, tidying, cooked a roast and even shaved all those areas that have been neglected for a while! .....and I'm totally exhausted. I've had to lay down, and my arms feel like they can't even lift my pint of water to drink from!!

At least I can relax in a tidy house, that is something.....I need to gain a little energy back to eat my banana and custard :)

Vickyvix · 24/11/2013 19:56

auntpitty as hackney said, try and relax. The stats are in your favour but I understand you are anxious. Best of luck for Wednesday

superlambanana · 24/11/2013 20:13

DH did come back - only for an hour but it did help. Have managed to stop crying now. My friend had a beautiful baby girl last night, and I'm so, so happy for her, but it got me more stressed as I still don't know if mine is okay, and then I got upset because I thought I was harming it by being stressed, and it kind of went downhill from there.

Can't go and see GP tomorrow as I said I'd try my best to get into work. I am utterly terrified of going back in Sad I'd told my boss jut before I got pg about the anxiety / depression problems I'd had last year and I'm worried they're going to think it's that, and that I'm not up to the job.

Liquidambar · 24/11/2013 20:14

Sorry Winkly I am sorry, along the lines I missed that you have a scan tomorrow too. Good luck :)

CarrotCakeMuffins · 24/11/2013 20:33

Good luck for scans tomorrow. Mine is Wednesday so not long to wait now.

jaykay987 · 24/11/2013 21:11

Good luck for all the scans tomorrow!

BEEwitched · 24/11/2013 21:29

Good luck to all of you having a scan tomorrow, can't wait to hear all about it!!!

Super, of course you can go see your GP tomorrow, if you are this anxious you need to talk to someone. Do you have the number of your local Midwife team or ante-natal unit? They will have midwives specialising in mental health, try and get an appointment with them. I have the number of my local unit and it helps to know that I only have to make that call to get help should my anxiety get worse (my GP wasn't that interested but my bp is really high because of the stress so I'm now off work and under weekly Midwife care).

I watched the DVD from my 12 week scan again yesterday, it's so fab to see the little legs kicking about!

MarlenaGru · 24/11/2013 21:47

Good luck for the scans tomorrow!
2 weeks tomorrow for me.
Also dreading work tomorrow. I am usually a "coper", but finding this all a bit much this time. Just so tiring working full time and being a mum too. And I have a lot of help too.

WifeofGru · 24/11/2013 21:47

Good luck everybody with scans this week. I always feel such a huge relief to see that baby moving around. So exciting.

Emmazers · 24/11/2013 21:50

Typhoon I know someone who had the same thing (and is also suspiciously the same preg as you) so I could ask her if she knows anything about it ... Provided you're not actually the same person! Wink

Liquidambar · 24/11/2013 21:51

I have just reactivated my Fb account. I can't remember. Who Shall I PM to add me?

AuntPittypat · 24/11/2013 21:53

Super, I agree with Bee, you should definitely try to talk to your GP or midwife tomorrow. It sounds like you're in a bit of a vicious circle of feeling anxious and then that causing more stress... Hopefully talking to your GP might help to break that. The sooner you feel better about things, the sooner you'll be able to concentrate more on work so it just makes sense to prioritise your health over work right now. If it would make you feel better could you try to get a GP appointment in the morning and then try to go into work after it?

Emmazers · 24/11/2013 22:34

Typhoon My friend has actually had the procedure twice and she's been having discomfort too. She does think it's to be expected but you never know what's normal and what should be worrying, so maybe ask your midwife about it. She's having a cervical scan soon to check it's looking ok, so maybe you could ask for one too for peace of mind? Good luck x
