Nature and choco yay for pram buying! Loving the domestic and the compromise of black choco! Nature - definitely choosing green was the right thing to do....

Mythree I have only had a few leg cramps, but when I have had them OMFG! They make me leap out of bed (as best I can) and stumble around the room trying to get rid of it. I have however worked out it tends to happen if I stretch out in bed like Percy, so I too now stretch gingerly!!!

Flyaway Grrrr! It just pisses you off when you give them plenty of notice and then they faff around and cock it all up! FFS! Mind you, your comment saying "horrible bosses" reminded me of the film "horrible bosses". Has anyone seen it? I thought it was hilarious and it would give me some great satisfaction to watch it this weekend!!! Grin

Welcome Ami and peanuts! Ami your "bitch please" comment cracked me up!

Sarah stupid idiot vandals! That's just awful!

Frizz glad your NCT class was good and everyone was more relaxed. It definitely takes a few weeks for that to happen, but ours also seem to be getting better every week in that respect....

Quack loving your DH practically skipping out of the first NCT class. That's exactly what I found my DH did, although the novelty is starting to wear off with him a bit now, so glad we only have one more with the boys involved....

Happy Halloween! Here's to a better day all round!

MrsGSR · 31/10/2013 08:06

Morning, morning, morning choco! Black sounds like a good compromise, I'm going to get 'shadow' which is basically grey.

I'm a little worried this morning. Had a migraine yesterday (which I've had twice before but not for years) but had some strange symptoms like pins and needles in my left side and half my face went numb! Popped into the walk in Centre and was checked over by a GP who said he thought it was just a migraine and to take it easy today. asked me a few times if I'd thrown up, which I hadn't at that point. Last night I threw up twice and am feeling generally crap this morning. I don't want to go back in incase its a bug, baby's moving around as normal but I'm a little worried.

flyawayblue · 31/10/2013 08:17

Morning all, hope the night was free of leg cramps and everyone had a good rest.

Wet and child start to the day here and so want to be back on bed. Worked our I have 7 weeks of work left Smile and am now a mix of very happy and scared.

We have most of our big purchases done as getting a lot from friends & family only things for me left.

Silly question but bigger breasted people what are you doing for maternity bras. I've cheated so far and used old or to big bras but not going to work for much longer!

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 08:17

MrsG what did he say the significance of throwing up could be?

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 08:19

Flyaway as a bigger breasted lady, I have been using non-wired total support bras from M & S. Not the most comfortable bras by the end of the day, but they have got me through so far and I expect they will continue to get me through until I need nursing bras....

MrsGSR · 31/10/2013 08:23

flyaway I've been remeasuring myself every few months and bung cheap wired bras of eBay, I've started looking for non wired/nursing bras but there aren't that many for larger boobs!

sultana he didn't say, it just worries be that he asked so many times! Then again he asked if I could manage a urine sample 3 times so maybe he's just forgetful!

MrsVDB · 31/10/2013 08:26

flyaway I have found after lots of searching m&s to a moulded tshirt bra up to a gg. I'm normally a h but went up a back size and it fits well. I'm not a fan of non moulded but can't find anything in h upwards so will have to give up soon I expect

Hello newbies

Toothfairy78 · 31/10/2013 08:28

Ooh! Welcome ami, peanuts and amandine! So nice to have 3 newbies at this late stage. Major bonus!

I had good news yesterday. Having patched up with Mr Mardy pants who was in a strop with me, me and my boss moved desks to a nicer bit of the office where there are some women! Boss offered to take the end desk so he's not in between a bunch of women yapping! Grin

OK I'm still stupidly overloaded and underpaid but hey, I get office buddies with better hygiene!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 08:28

MrsG Lol! Did he ask you why you were there three times also? Grin I would be tempted to just call the surgery and see if you can speak to a doctor for some further advice.... As you say, it may just be a bug and it may be your GP had forgotten he had asked you, but at least that way you can get some reassurance....

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 08:30

Woop woop tooth for a better environment! Every little helps....!

TobyLerone · 31/10/2013 08:36

loulou, you really wanted us to know that, huh? Wink
I wasn't interested in buying that pram at all, but the blue colour almost made me buy it anyway because it was so lovely! I'm sure it's nice in black, too.

Flyaway, I'm an F cup and have been wearing my normal bra with a back extender because the cup size is still fine. I cannot bring myself to wear non-wired bras because monoboob is such a horrible look! Think I'll look at hidden support vests for the first week or so of breastfeeding, until my milk is in and I know how massive my boobs will be. Then I will get some nursing bras.

MrsG sounds exactly like a migraine to me. I sympathise. They're horrible! Flowers

TobyLerone · 31/10/2013 08:37

Yay for a nicer working environment, tooth!

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 08:44

Toby monoboob! Grin I was really worried about monoboob too, BUT the total support bra I found in M & S separates them nicely. NOT quite as nice an overall shape as my underwired bras (so on special nights out I have popped on an underwired one), but generally it doesn't look too bad....

Here it is in all it's non-sexy glory.... www.marksandspencer.com/Support-Non-Wired-Floral-Embroidered-Crossover/dp/B000KS5KH0?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_5&nodeId=43248030&sr=1-5&qid=1383208972&pf_rd_r=0CJGY573HNXENTHBNEDM&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_i=0&pf_rd_p=321381407&pf_rd_s=center-3

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 08:46

I also have this one.... www.marksandspencer.com/Jacquard-Lace-Total-Support-B-G/dp/B002EDV40G?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_23&nodeId=43248030&sr=1-23&qid=1383209085

They both used to be white until DH dyed them an attractive shade of grey!!!

MrsGSR · 31/10/2013 08:50

tooth glad some things at work are improving!

I think it was just from the migraine, I haven't had one for about 7 years but remember throwing up then too. I think I'll leave it until lunch then ring if I'm still feeling rough.

I hope everyone has a good Halloween :) DH had hidden the sweets as I stole a few yesterday!

chocoloulou33 · 31/10/2013 09:03

Sorry it posted so many times. My phone is terrible for this site. It tells me its failed when it hasn't.
Its the fact oh didn't want blue coz blue is for Chelsea. What an idiot. So he wanted a red one as he is arsenal. I literally could of killed him there on the spot. Sales assistant didn't know what to say lol.

MrsAVB · 31/10/2013 09:19

Morning all,
Welcome ami, amandine and peanut!
choco, I know you like to fill up the thread... But... Wink
humpty how is DH today?
Re. Bras, I am a 30f, the best ones I've found have been the m&s wireless nursing bras in a 32e, the ones with padded cups, but then I'm someone that refuses to pay loads for bras, so you can prob do better in posher shops. If I don't have padded cups I end up looking like Miranda in that episode of sex and the city where she wears the fake nipples. I was thinking hidden support vests to begin with too toby, I wear them in bed anyway. Have you seen any with nursing clips and adequate support? I've been looking but have only seen either flimsy support with clips, or proper support without clips. But I guess if they have thin straps I don't really need clips. Hmm...

TobyLerone · 31/10/2013 09:38

Thanks, sultana. They're no less sexy than any other bras in giant cup sizes!

loulou, I'm actually amazed that you managed to have sex with that 'man', let alone choose a pram with him! :o

MrsA, I hadn't actually thought far enough ahead to care about clips! I'm not sure I knew you could get proper nursing ones.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 31/10/2013 10:06

MrsA he's fine, thank you - being a bit of a twat, actually (told me to stop worrying about him, when he was rushing about - the DAY after he leaves hospital, FFS, then when I got upset, said 'it's not all about you'), so must be on the road to recovery.

Any progress with your work situation? It's SO crappy to be left hanging for as long as you have been.

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 10:41

Choco I can JUST imagine the scene! DH is a massive Liverpool fan, but we have ended up with a blue pram because it was £100 less than the rest. I don't think he thought about the Chelsea side of things, but then again our blue is more of a denim.... I certainly won't be bringing it up however! Wink

Humpty your DH is clearly on the mend! Wink

Sultanajo · 31/10/2013 10:48

OMG, DH just said I was waddling as I was walking! Blush Shite! Mind you, bump feels MASSIVE today and my lower back is killing me and I could sleep at the drop of a hat! Feel as though I want to sit on a giant beanbag (although would never be able to get up from it...) or spend the day in a swimming pool! Roll on the weekend!

Spacefrog35 · 31/10/2013 11:51

mrsg sorry bit late but he might have asked you about the being sick thing so many times as it's quite common to be sick with migraines. Lots of migraine medicine has an anti nausea ingredient but the most common one you can't take when pregnant. My doc swapped my migraine tablet prescription when she knew I was ttc.
Or maybe he's just a dozy bugger Wink

twinklexx · 31/10/2013 11:52

hi all
can i join in a bit late to the party?
im due 29th jan with my first so got a little while to go yet Smile

MrsGSR · 31/10/2013 12:14

Welcome twinkle :)

I think he was just dozy space! He was lovely though.
