apprenticemamma · 24/10/2013 23:11

good work pirates thanks Smile ! Surely there's a lot more blues amongst the yellows statistically speaking iyswim....

apprenticemamma · 24/10/2013 23:12

ps what happened to the mum of twins? did she find out and did we scare her off?

Cassiopeia01 · 25/10/2013 07:11

And what's happened to pram? Is she ok?

Had a shocking couple of days with some kind of bug. Finally feel human again.

Welcome newbies and congrats to those who have found out what they are having. 2.5 weeks till my 20 week scan. Feels like forever. At diabetic clinic this am so hopefully will get to hear the heartbeat. Have a good day all.

PiratesMam · 25/10/2013 07:24

Thanks Owl, I will wait to see if there are anymore amendments today before posting it on the stats thread! SmileAt the moment the girls outnumber the boys pretty much 2:1. How many people's Chinese Gender Predictors were right?

Thank god it's nearly the weekend, have had such a stressful week!

MummyPig24 · 25/10/2013 08:01

My Chinese gender predictor says boy.

apprenticemamma · 25/10/2013 08:02

pirates btw we are team pink

apprenticemamma · 25/10/2013 08:03

Chinese predictor has been right each time Smile

Blockette · 25/10/2013 08:56

Morning! I didn't do the Chinese predictor! What is it?

I think Pram got blocked again and has given up the fight :(

We did have 3 girls names almost certain, but now we know its a girl we have decided we don't like any if them now and have to start again :( this naming business is going to be hard as we never agree on anything.

mrsksays · 25/10/2013 09:07

Morning all - finally had a half decent nights sleep (hubs was away so had the whole bed to myself yay!) so decided to start the day with bacon, scrambled egg, beans and toast. I've got that Friday feeling!

Was suffering from achy ribs yesterday - anyone else has similar? Surely it's too early for organs and internal gubbins bent pushed up inside? Or maybe it's stretching pains?

FoxMulder · 25/10/2013 09:11

Speaking of 'what happened to?' where is MrsK? She was here for a day then gone. Maybe she's got a life of something. Ridiculous! Smile

I like Caleb too. There was this TV show in the 90s that I LOVED called American Gothic, and the main character was a really really cute kid called Caleb. There was a Lucas in there too!

Cool With co-sleeping cots, do you need to still follow the co-sleeping rules regarding duvets and pillows? I like the idea of cosleeping cots, but I also like my duvet. I like it a lot.

So what are the plans for the weekend? Owl, where are you going? What are you getting up to? For me, I fear it will be housework and jobs . I've been wanting to go to the cinema for a while but I'm always too knackered by the evening. Whatever we do, we NEED to get this bloody bathroom ordered. It's been dragging on too long.

FoxMulder · 25/10/2013 09:13

Ha! That's a coincidence.

mrsksays · 25/10/2013 09:14

I'm here haha!

FoxMulder · 25/10/2013 09:14

Block Now I think about it, DH & I don't have a good track record of naming things. We can never agree with pets. Our 2 hamsters were called Mr Brown & Mr White because we just couldn't agree. And they were girls.

mrsksays · 25/10/2013 09:15

No chance of me getting a life don't worry ;)

mrsksays · 25/10/2013 09:18

Fox Plans for the weekend - more eBaying of stuff I don't need, get to the gym for a swim, cook something nice (I fancy a shepherds pie) and then read the rest of my book in my onsie on the sofa - we're enjoying the last 5 months of being child free!

FoxMulder · 25/10/2013 09:26

A swim, that's a good idea. I should make time for a swim.

My weekends tend to get taken over by all the jobs that we've been too knackered to do through the week.

I have a question about onsies: Isn't it a pain to go to the loo?

apprenticemamma · 25/10/2013 09:40

currently baking for ds early Halloween playdate. When he naps I will gut the house and when he wakes three hours later his friends come.

Cinema later any recommendations?

Missing prams words of wit and wisdom...I'm gonna have to join the fb group

Cassiopeia01 · 25/10/2013 09:52

I miss pram too apprentice and will also have to join FB group!

Just heard heartbeat. Such a relief. Waiting to see consultant and am expecting to have to start injecting insulin 4 times a day now. Such a pain. And it fuckin hurts cos the pharmacist doesn't stock the small needles that don't hurt. Wankers. Confused

Cassiopeia01 · 25/10/2013 09:52

Erm. How DO I join FB????

faithfulandtruthful · 25/10/2013 10:16

Pirates I'm yellow also, I think I'm having a boy but ultimately I KNOW I'm having a baby (I saw it on the scan!!) and that is all that matters to me! The Chinese calender is also predicting a boy, we shall see.

BWP Andie Rock and Hot I am also 'planning' a homebirth, it became quite clear that there are only two places I may give birth is at home or totally hospitalised, as not keen on our local MLU. I have no idea what the process is at our hospital but my midwife knows I want a homebirth, but I'm under the community MW, I'm guessing they are the ones who attend the homebirths in the area.

Lyra I sincerely hope that your head ache has eased but wanted to say (in case it happens again) I find inhaling steam helpful, sometimes i just fill a bowl and sick my head over, other times I have a bath or shower, we also have one of those home spa face steamer things too. I've had some super wicked headaches recently. Also there are those strips you can stick on your head see here. But I haven't tried them myself.

faithfulandtruthful · 25/10/2013 10:21

Cass you need to message greymoose with your facebook link then she will add you.

Cool what cot have you ordered? Am also looking at co-sleep cots.

IceNoSlice · 25/10/2013 10:33

Morning all.

Cass, the FB admin has changed to Lyra so I'd suggest you message her if you want to join.

Nice to see the messages about folks missing Pram - I think she's having a bit of a stressful time so will be pleased to see them (she is likely keeping up even if she can't post).

I have an absolute pile of work to do today. And I really CBA. But I have to do it or next week will be a nightmare! We're on hols the following week (Centreparcs, whoop, never been and quite looking forward to it Smile).

Tell me to get back to work!!

mrsksays · 25/10/2013 10:38

Fox - no I've got a One Piece and it's got a zip down the front so toilet is easy.

apprenticemamma - Chinese predictor says girl for me but I feel more like it's a boy. But I have no preference either way, hence staying team yellow.

Cassiopeia01 · 25/10/2013 10:39

Thanks f&t and ice. At the risk of sounding completely like a technophobe how do I do the FB link??? Not knowing is the reason I didn't join before cos I was too embarrassed to ask!!

mrsksays · 25/10/2013 10:39

Sorry, I'm a noob - who is Pram?
