He snapped at me for several things and wss just a grumpy arse. Ha at slug in his shoe - he'd never know it was me cos we have plenty of them!

jaykay987 · 19/11/2013 18:52

that Sainsburys advert is a killer!

is it too early to go to bed?! Smile. I just want to get in from work and hide under the duvet!

I'm dreading tomorrow. It'll be my first time at my main office in almost two months. In worried as I'll be up at 5am and out the door by half past, I've got to do the dreaded London commute and then spend a whole day in the office looking presentable and on the ball! Plus I may bump into people I know and I might cave with my secret! I've survived the last month getting into work and surviving. That won't work tomorrow! eek!

Hope everyone starts to feel better!

Littleangel21 · 19/11/2013 19:09

Hi ladies,

Yup- all Xmas ads are making me cry. I'm absolutely exhausted and feel that I'm not doing my work to a very high standard and am delaying as much as I possibly can.

NHS stuff just arrived in the post, read the screening booklet which made me feel worse. There are so many things that can go wrong!! I just phoned my mum and cried, feel as though things are a bit too much!

Xx

jaykay987 · 19/11/2013 19:58

Ooh what "stuff" did you receive angel? I've have not got anything yet.

Littleangel21 · 19/11/2013 20:25

Hi jaykay- a letter booking me in for both scans and several advice booklets that have scared me senseless! Just about all the options for screening, everything that could possibly go wrong. Introducing me to my midwife (who'll be getting a call tomorrow) and consultant obstetrician... It's thorough!

FoxtrotOscarBackToEconomy · 19/11/2013 20:27

Welcome and congratulations to the newcomers. Smile

Nice to see that I'm not the only one with extreme tiredness and nausea. I'd forgotten how hard early pregnancy can be. Emptying DS's potty and pregnancy nausea is definitely not a good combination!

Wish I had a big more energy for posting in the evening!

So glad to hear that everyone else is sobbing at random things too Smile I have cried at least 4 times today Blush and my DH was in a fowl mood this morning too maggie though think it may partly be to do with also taking the brunt of my emotional mood swings!

Good luck tomorrow jaykay I work from home normally as am freelance but will have to trek into London for a meeting on Monday which I'm dreading as just feel so nauseous the whole time and the thought of sitting on the tube and having to fit into smart clothes for the day is not blessing me at the moment. Plus I will have to present my current piece of work which is a total disaster at the moment and I have no idea how I'm going to get it finished in time with the way I'm currently feeling! Oh dear...

littleangel best not to read too much of the screening booklet - it freaked me out first time around so I haven't even opened it this time! If there is a problem then you can look at the details but otherwise avoid so you don't panic!

Still no news from the epu on my early scan :( think I may ring the docs tomorrow to chase it up...and mention to the midwife when I see her on Thursday.

Poor DH we were supposed to be going out tonight but I just feel so sick and exhausted I really can't face it. He's popped to tesco to buy me a treat but I can't even think of food without it making me feel worse so couldn't think what to say for him to get for me!

Moochie01 · 19/11/2013 20:36

Worried that I've had absolutely no nausea today, having been plagued by it for a couple of weeks now :-( I'm 7+4.

Never thought I'd see the day when I worried about not feeling like crap!

Hope everyone else is doing ok Smile

MrsB2013 · 19/11/2013 20:52

Kim I think its quite normal to have to wait for a doctors app! I'm quite lucky with mine, they only have a few pre bookable ones, so usually have to ring on the day as soon as they open.

Littleangel I haven't got any paperwork yet, but have scared myself by reading up on things on the internet

Jaykay good luck for tomorrow, hope your day goes well!

I feel massive at the moment. I had to buy some new trousers in a size bigger already :( I'm only 8 weeks. I hope I can hide my stomach until after the 12 week scan!

Lol at the slug in the shoe idea!!!

Howly · 19/11/2013 21:10

I'm exhausted, had parents evening and now at home staring at my marking pile for tomorrow, 28 papers and I wanna be in bed by 10.30, not gonna happen!

I'm feeling really crap about myself, like I'm a rubbish teacher and can't keep up with everyone else Sad hope this is just hormones and it will pass!

Still the odd stomach cramp but eased off since Sunday, no blood or anything thus far so looking ok!

AhoyMcCoy · 19/11/2013 21:24

Moochie I'm roughly 7+4 too I think, and my sickness disappeared too along with my sore boobs and amazing sense of smell. I was so sure I'd Mc'd - had a scan at the EPU his morning and all was fine!

I bawled my eyes out at the scan - it was just so lovely! The nurse was so reassuring, a drop in symptoms is completely normal at various point apparently, everyone is different etc! Just be grateful for the break in sickness I think!

Moochie01 · 19/11/2013 21:31

Thanks so much Ahoy, that's really reassuring. Im sure you're absolutely right. I just can't believe how "normal" I feel all of a sudden. Have got a private scan booked for Thursday afternoon so hopefully it will be a fab experience like yours. Smile

DoesZingBumpLookBigInThis · 19/11/2013 21:42

I think I can safely say I had my first official craving today.
White sauce with crunchy peanut butter mixed in.
I made some just for me and ate it with a spoon.

DS2 is having an op tomorrow under GA, so I've been worrying about that - it made me distracted, dropping things, feeling emotional and I felt a bit sick.
I'll have to pretend to be cheerful tomorrow - it's going to be hard.

Froglet88 · 19/11/2013 22:01

Hi everyone!! I just did a test on Sunday and found out that I'm pregnant, due date 24th of July with our first baby! Smile Hello to everyone here and congratulations! How is everyone feeling? I've got pneumatic boobs which would give Dolly Parton a run for her money AND I cried at Masterchef this evening but otherwise good! Wishing everyone healthy, safe and happy pregnancies xx

SuzB83 · 19/11/2013 23:10

Congrats Froglet! Welcome aboard! I can sympathise about the pneumatic boobs! Mine are huge just now and pretty sore. Also been getting pretty bad campy feeling for the last few days which has been worrying me a bit. I know it's prob all normal and just bean getting settled in but as this is my first I've no idea what to expect. Actually bought another pregnancy test today just to check (still doesn't all quite feel real).

Off to a conference with work tomorrow until Friday with sessions that are on til 9pm every night, don't know how I'm going to stay awake. Lately been having to have a nap when I get home from work as I'm so tired.

hope everyone is doing well and beans are all settling in nicely Smile

Froglet88 · 19/11/2013 23:27

Aww thank you so much, congrats to you too Suz Smile, nice to meet you! I have a bit of cramping too and was feeling a bit apprehensive also but told a close friend today (who happens to be just three weeks further along with her second baby!) and she said that the uterus stretches a lot in the first trimester to prepare for the baby as it grows so twinges, cramps, aches and pains are all part of the process. I know it's easier said than done not to worry but what you are experiencing is normal m'dear! Think of all the sleeping you can do after the conference! I'm exhausted but having difficulty sleeping as hubby away until tomorrow, can't wait for him to come home!

baggyoldcow · 20/11/2013 05:56

Congrats froglet we share a due date! (Though this is my fourth).
Zing I'm thinking of you today with your DS's op - one of mine had a short and fairly routine op on his thumb (trigger thumb release) earlier this year and even that was just awful. He was nil by mouth all day beforehand but still managed to throw up tons when he came round (everyone looked at me accusingly like I had been disobeying the rules, feeding him secretly, which wasn't true!). Sorry - not trying to make it worse for you, just to say you have my sympathy, it's horrible to see your child go through that. Hope it all goes well.
jaykay good luck today and thanks for your reassurance on the bloat. But nothing fits me any more so I'm going to have to dig out the mat clothes ALREADY. Sigh.

jaykay987 · 20/11/2013 06:01

zing - I'm sure it isn't....but the only sauce I can think of is cheesy white sauce and the thought of stirring in peanut butter is making me retch!Grin please explain so I can get this horrid image out of my mind! Grin

suz - I do not envy you. good luck at your conference!

Sparky321 · 20/11/2013 07:25

Zing thinking of you today hope your Ds op goes well and that you do well too.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/11/2013 07:31

Howly - how on earth did you survive parents' evening. I'm dreading my next one - 3rd Dec starting at 6 and I need to see 26 Year 11s. I teach English so they'll all want to see me. I'm not even sure why we're having this parents' evening now as they do they're mocks in January.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/11/2013 07:31

*their obviously - I'm ill.

MrsA2 · 20/11/2013 07:53

Blue and Jaykay good luck with your long days. I have to do around a day a week in London for meetings and really struggled with one that needed a 5am start recently. I haven't really had too much nausea but that morning I was certain I was going to be sick on the train.

I hope today goes well Zing.

My sore boobs are back a bit although I still do feel a little better than I did. Will just have to see how it goes I guess and wait for my private scan next week.

Hope everyone has a good day. Booking in appointment for me today.

AuntieMaggie · 20/11/2013 08:04

I feel crap again today :( I just want to hide under my duvet. I've had hardly any sleep, my throat is sore, everythings gone wrong this morning and keeping the baby thing quiet is getting to me.

My mw appt is on the 2 Dec which seems miles away and I don't know about scan yet. My diary is filled with long days of travel and being away up til xmas week. Argh.

AuntieMaggie · 20/11/2013 08:07

Oh and I look delightful with my drag queen make up courtesy of doing it on the bus.

zing fingers crossed for today x
