I just feel like I've got a constant hangover. Nausea, diarrhoea (not as bad as it was) tiredness and just general rundown overwhelmed feeling. I'm also so forgetful of everything it is getting worrying.

I am half looking forward to my scan though, have had no bleeding at all for a month now and no more cramps now for over a week, have been googling (a bit but don't want to scare myself) and blood in the uterus is an irritant which may be a cause of cramps so I'm really hoping the bleeding has stopped/gone away. Am really trying not to be too hopeful though at the same time.

Hollyjokes · 19/11/2013 10:14

Jaykay that's great to hear. I've got my works Xmas do when I'll be about 8-9wks and I was worried about the bloated tum giving the game away!

DinkyMole · 19/11/2013 10:59

Hi all, any room for an August stowaway? BFP yesterday and this morning. Due 1st August so could be either month. Smile

turnwest · 19/11/2013 11:21

baggy I m 5w2 approx and I have some stomach bloating, constipation, extra discharge sorry TMI and that's it. Getting a bit worried as I don't really feel pregnant at all. Had more symptoms in my other two pregnancies. Peed on a stick yesterday though and line came up immediately but I ve can't shake the bad feeling I ve got.

pigsinparis Aww, thankyou. This one is very much unplanned but we are happy. Trying to think who you are but I'm not sure Blush.

PicnicPie · 19/11/2013 11:43

Moresnow, congrats and snap. I am due on the 18th too.

I don't know the ins and outs if the morning after pill but hopefully all will be well. Have you registered with midwife/GP for your booking in appt? You could mention it to them and see what they say?

I've had some waves if nausea in the afternoon and a couple if cramps and pangs in my stomach (stretching of the muscles/womb me thinks). But apart from that I'm feeling well in myself.

I've started a pregnancy supplement. I've got the ones by Seven Seas. It's a multi vitamin with 21 vits and minerals + folic acid and vit d. They were Bogof in sainisburys.

PigsInParis · 19/11/2013 11:51

Ellie have PM'd you :)

Welcome MoreSnow and Dinky too.

MrSB

x-post! Grin

MrsB2013 · 19/11/2013 13:11

Congratulations to all the newbies joining us!

Duvet so sorry :(

I'm so tired today. Woke up in the night for about 2 hours and couldn't get back to sleep!

Picnic I'm taking those too, couldn't believe how big they are when I opened them!!

I have booked a scan for Saturday when I'll be 8w+4, hope everything is ok in there as I really don't feel pregnant :(

Anyone who's had an early scan, did you have to go with a full bladder?

Hope everyone is ok and hope the sickness disappears soon for you!

DoesZingBumpLookBigInThis · 19/11/2013 13:16

MrsB

yes, for external scan you need a full bladder.
empty your bladder completely an hour before your appointment and drink a pint or two of water in the hour leading up to the appointment

(for an internal one you don't need a full bladder)

talulahbelle · 19/11/2013 13:41

BlueC2 I'm very tearful too. Had to walk out assembly this morning as they were playing Coldplays Fix U. Lots of sad memories with that song. I'm definitely moodier. Hopefully it will calm down soon.

PicnicPie · 19/11/2013 14:30

BlueC2, talulah, another one here that's emotional too. Had a little cry last night after DD went to sleep. Not sure why though. DH was a bit [hmmm].

MrsB they are quite big. But I like how they've got the days on the back of the pack to keep you on track. Otherwise I know I'll forget if I've taken or not.

Charotte31 · 19/11/2013 15:03

God I have such a back ache! It's worrying me because it's really draggy like one I get when I have my AF. Never had anything like this with my other pregnancies. No cramps though.

AuntieMaggie · 19/11/2013 15:34

DP was a knob this morning so I went to work crying and have felt shit because of it all day.

I also have some slightly darker discharge today and a bit of discomfort which is worrying me :(

DoesZingBumpLookBigInThis · 19/11/2013 16:17

oh Maggie what did he do?

put a slug in his shoe

Sparky321 · 19/11/2013 16:25

I sobbed for a full 10 minutes after watching the sainsburys advert with the children doing a video message for their dad who was posted overseas.

kim2783 · 19/11/2013 16:42

Hi All,

This is my first and think I'm six weeks along. Got in touch with the doctor over a week ago but can't get an appointment until a week on Friday.

Is this usual?

Estimated due date 14th July.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 19/11/2013 17:13

Sparky - that made me cry too - even before the dad came in! I cry quite easily at watching things anyway (my classes laugh at me). I'm even worse now.
Nearly cried in my Year 10 lesson before lunch because I was just so very tired!

dollydaydream27 · 19/11/2013 17:29

Another one here who cried to the sainsburys advert . Have actually cried to all of them pathetic really !!
Also am very emotional and moody flew off the handle with dp last night . He is getting the brunt of it all I'm afraid Hmm feel sorry for him.
Have told my manager at work today it's gone really well which I was very happy about . Feeling very real now that people know , I am very aware that it's still early days tho 6 weeks Smile

Sparky321 · 19/11/2013 17:34

Dolly glad telling your boss went well, I had to tell mine last week when I was just 5 weeks as I had to go to the epu that went well probably as she only has 4 weeks until she starts her maternity leave !!
