February 2014. The cake mix is in the mug, the microwave is on, it's slowly rising and we'll be pinging in three more months!

Sadly my cake mix is rising too much and resulting in a serious muffin top.

Wish me luck ladies, I have the most stressful meeting this afternoon (followed by up to a week waiting for an outcome) and I really need some positive vibes and crossed fingers. Not pregnancy related but life will be very difficult if it goes badly. Think happy thoughts.

whoput off to Scotland- Isle of Lewis. It would be really exciting if I wasn't so waddley. It's a sporting week and there's something very very wrong about a pregnant woman brandishing a shotgun. A week of dog walks it is then.

Good luck liitlest. Smile Hope it goes well for you.
I seem to have lost my appetite. Shock I know, its shocking after putting on a million stone so far but I just don't feel like eating. Not sure why but I hope it helps stop the weight gain a bit.
I've also lost my rage. I was starting to worry that I was putting my relationship in danger because I couldn't stop getting infuriated with DP but it seems to have stopped now. Poor DP, I owe him a major apology. Do Hallmark make a "Sorry, I've been a crazy, hormonal bitch. You honestly can walk, breathe and eat however you like" card? Blush
25 + 2 It's going quickly now!

Shropshiremummy2B · 23/10/2013 10:25

Keeeeeeep meaning to ask- does anyone have stretch marks yet? I'm praying that my ritual slathering with Clarins oil has done the trick but appreciate there's still a whole lot of stretching still to do!

Good luck littlest!

Shropshire, not yet and I'm checking every day Sad

marzipanned · 23/10/2013 10:52

Good luck littlest - will be thinking of you today.

Shrops I am soooo jealous. Love the Scottish islands. I quite like the image of a pregster with a gun, actually (stick that in google images and you will get some interesting results) but dog walks sound perfect too.

Thingy my appetite is a bit weird at the moment too. I'm more eating not to throw up than eating because I'm hungry. But then I also get those moments of I'm-so-ravenous-if-I-don't-eat-right-now-my-baby-will-start-munching-its-own-placenta.

104 days to go!

sunflowered · 23/10/2013 11:01

Good luck littlest - hope it all goes ok.

Enjoy your holiday Shropshire.

22+4 = 121 days to go. That feels like so long! Have I got the sums wrong? Will have to get my 'work days left' chart out later to get that other vital statistic. Not v subtle crossing the days off in front of colleagues...

gnittinggnome · 23/10/2013 11:02

Good luck Littlest and I hope the waiting is not too stressy!

Shropshire no stretch marks yet, no linea negra and annoyingly my ghastly "I-was-19-what-was-I-thinking" tattoo is still holding up. I was hoping that it would suffer somewhat so I could legitimately get it covered with something better (like the one on my back - still love that one) but I may have to take the plunge either way. But as you say, a whole lot of stretching still to come.... I'm also madly jealous of your trip - DH and I went to Inverness for our honeymoon and spent the summer solstice on Orkney, which was beautiful. After years of living in the tropics the whole white sandy beach thing wasn't so appealing, and it was just lovely.

And 96 days to EDD. Yowsers. Still not trading online yet, still fannying around spending more time on here and on baby sites and not actually getting the business up. No maternity leave for me! But I am aiming now for the start of November, when we come back from New York, all will be in place. I hope.

EeyoreIsh · 23/10/2013 11:10

shrops the holiday sounds fab.

Just had my 25 week midwife appointment. Everything was fine, I finally met the midwife who is based at my gp's surgery.

My fundal (sic?) height was 26 cm, despite my bump being quite small. And my blood pressure was down to its normal levels. So all good really.

DH is just on his way back from his interview now. I'm so nervous for him! I hardly slept, but he was snoozing away fine! typical Grin in other exciting news, we've got work starting on our en suite today soon.

LovesToBake · 23/10/2013 11:29

Shropshire hope you have a lovely holiday - enjoy the fresh air and please do post us a bump pic next Weds of you brandishing a gun in your maternity tweeds!

Also no stretch marks to report (yet). Slathering on the bio oil every morning after my shower like I did last time and I got away with it last time, so here's hoping!

Littlest wishing you lots of luck for the horrid meeting. Let us know how it goes.

Delightful morning for me. DS up at his usual sprightly time of 5:15am (after an intial shout at 4:55am...) and while DH is being a legend and dealing with him until I get up about 6ish at the moment, he had to leave early this morning so I had the delight of having breakfast with DS then having to leg it to the kitchen sink to throw up all of my breakfast moments later. Poor boy, he looked quite bemused by the whole thing. Felt seriously queasy on the train and thanks to bloody signalling problems it took FOREVER. And then someone farted near me on the tube. FFS!

winterflowers · 23/10/2013 11:45

Good luck littlest bean and I will have our fingers crossed it goes well :)

I don't like counting the number of days left it os SO MANY why is pregnancy soooo long? Saying that I don't want her to come a day before she is ready and I think already I will miss her booting me.

Have wonderful holidays shrops think lots of walks amd bracing Scottish air sounds wonderful

sunflowered · 23/10/2013 12:09

Argh! If bump doesn't shift out of whatever position it's lying in at the moment it's going to be a long 121 days. I can't work out what bits are where but whatever it's doing it's really unpleasant! Any tips (am in office so lying down or stretches on all fours not an option for a few hours Grin )

Shropshiremummy2B · 23/10/2013 12:20

Thanks fatties!

I was totes suprised to discover there is no such thing as maternity tweed breeks. And lordy lord my wellies are snug on my fat calves Sad.

gnitting love your casual 'after living in the tropics' and 'our trip to New York'- i'm about to open a can of whoop ass on you! Would rather a week in Dubai if Im being honest!

Argle, sorry that wasn't meant to be a stealth boast! We just got lots of weird looks from people when we said we were honeymooning in Scotland, so explaining the why is automatic.

Checking in Smile Little Madam due 14 Feb

Camwombat · 23/10/2013 13:15

sunflowered, have you tried an icy cold drink, that always gets them
moving....

sunflowered · 23/10/2013 13:28

Thanks champagne and camwombat. Am just off to the kitchen to try and find some cold water and somewhere to jump up and down and stretch Normally some fruit starts it bouncing around but that also brings on killer heartburn and replaces one discomfort with another Sad

Whoputtheramintheramadamadingd · 23/10/2013 13:35

Hi champagne. Bugger - that puts a spanner in the works. I couldn't find anything about it on the government sites that put it like that, ie in direct reference to the EDD on the MatB1 - do you have a link? Then I'll send that to my boss. He doesn't have a clue an we have no hr so it's up to me to work out and make sure I'm legal. Thing is this is all 2013 annual leave so I can't add it to end of maternity leave really - otherwise that plus 2014 annual leave would mean if get nothing done! I have so much work to do that if I have to take that leave before my EDD then I'll never get it all done... Gah.
