Woohoo blondies, I think that counts as a LIT update. And yay for sanji.
DH bought me a kindle as a thank you for having our baby present so I am looking forward to reading more when do can do it one handed.
Clapham, might be everything loosening up but you have done this before so perhaps ask for some advise from your midwife if it isn't normal for you? Everywhere ached with pgp... Lower back, hips, inner thighs, outer thighs, pubic bone, coccyx, stabby pain inside vagina...and on the day I went into labour my hip flexors were particularly sore.
Good news is that is has pretty much gone away since having Thomas. Only my coccyx is still sore and that might be new pain from having him on my back and him getting stuck/that whole general area being a bit traumatised. Also lower back but I think that is now from awkward breastfeeding/carrying/changing positions.
I agree whoever said the hospital weigh in feels like an appraisal. Last time I was thinking well the umbilical cord must have been a few extra grams last time and wanted to feed him just before a weigh in to add extra. Silly as I should be concerned about whether he is actually well and gaining weight, not whether the midwife is happy with the number.
I looked at my episiotomy stitches/scar last night and although the stitches seem to have dissolved nicely I am a bit mangled.
I got quite upset about it. Anyone else got a mirror out yet?
