OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 17:01

Ice, I'm not unemployed; I'm between jobs. Okay, so I'm six years between jobs, but who the fuck's counting? Do you want a fight or summat?

Slippersandacuppa · 19/10/2013 17:01

What the eff is going on? I disappear for a couple of threads and you've all been prammified?!

Will do my darnedest to catch up, have been missing hearing what you're all up to. Hope the bumps are growing and wriggling well, and life's generally good.

We've had a fun week here - just been caught in a thunderstorm (which the kids thought was the coolest thing, apart from the middle one who has seen the peppa pig episode where pigsville floods), poo on the carpet (DD), vom on the floor (canine), pen all over the sofa (DS2). All good though as we're about to order a curry...mmm.

We might be one of those families that goes to a shopping centre on a Saturday to let the kids run around inside. Oh, the shame.

Am going off to read the last 85 threads.

MCPrammer · 19/10/2013 17:02

Trying not to guffaw in Waterstones at GameofPrams' last post Grin

I agree with Ice though: do your shopping on weekdays, then you don't have to battle with the hordes of the great unwashed.

I'm still shopping, Maybs. Have stopped for a breather so will post pic on FB of gorgeous outdoor baby suit I've just bought in Mothercare.

NelsonPramdella · 19/10/2013 17:08

GoP FFS get back on yet meds.lol

I'm reading the books for Game of Thrones an there's shocks a coming. I actually had to stop reading for a while because I got too upset! loser

Stuck at work, itchy bruise legs, just want to go home and have pizza.

Pramalamadingdong · 19/10/2013 17:09

prambo, I borrowed a book from the library today on anger management (I shit thee not); would you like to borrow it when I've finished? I could send some fudge and a hand-knitted bookmark with it...

I agree that people getting in the way and generally being fucking inconsiderate fucking fuckheads is one of the most irritating aspects of life. That, and Kate 'Paragon of Perfection' flaunting her 'perfect' (read 'unhealthily and unattainably thin') post-baby body all over the place. Bitch.

I'm off to read my book.

GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 17:16

Yes, please lend me that book so I can viciously slam it against dawdlers' heads.

Nelson, I'm intrigued...

Slippers, where the shitting devil have you been? Don't tell me you've got one of those there 'lives' I keep hearing about?

There is a reason I had to go shopping on a Saturday...I just can't think what the fuck it is now. Anyway, the bras are too big (I didn't try them on) but I got a lovely grey maternity sweater from Red Herring.

GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 17:20

Nelson, are you Lyra? I thought you didn't have a job? Who is MCHammer? I never thought I'd say this, but I think it's time we reverted to our original names. I don't know who the frig is who Sad

greypram · 19/10/2013 17:21

I'm baaaaaaack

And very confused

IceNoSlice · 19/10/2013 17:28

TheRealSlimPrambo I wouldn't dare pick a fight with you. Ever. Even on here. You'd literally chew me up and spit me out. And I mean literally.

I thought MCPrammer was Lyra too... Hmm

NelsonPramdella · 19/10/2013 17:30

I'm not Lyra. I wasn't when I last checked anyway.

Pramalamadingdong · 19/10/2013 17:31

I thought MCprammer was lyra?

This book's a bit small to be a useful weapon. Might I recommend The Complete Works of Shakespeare? That's a nice weighty tome to smash into someone's head. Or if you want something a bit more portable, the Oxford Concise Dictionary would work well too.

I haven't got very far into the book yet, can you tell?

GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 17:40
GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 17:42

Ice, I'm not as hard as, say, karate-chopping Jackie Pram, but these withdrawals are sure making me evil.

Who is NelsonPramdella??

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/10/2013 17:48

I'm so confused!!

IceNoSlice · 19/10/2013 18:45

Jackie Pram!! Just imagine, a high kicking, chopping warrior with the razor wit, smutty mind and sharp tongue of Pram! A truly unstoppable combatant.

MCPrammer · 19/10/2013 19:07

Fgs, Prambo. Use your brain, woman. I said in an earlier post that I was going to post my baby thing on FB, then I posted it on FB and you commented on it. Therefore you should know who I am. Nelson is madwife.

MCPrammer · 19/10/2013 19:08

Oops, I think Nelson is AndieDisestablishment. The one with the red wool hair. I think.

apprenticemamma · 19/10/2013 19:11

when does normal service resume..?

MCPrammer · 19/10/2013 19:15

Shopping trip was quite successful but tiring.

For baby: leopard print (cream and grey) furry snowsuit and six sleepsuits (Mothercare has buy one get one half price on packs of three).

For me: a pair of knee-length patent leather Dr Martens which I've been hankering after for ages, plus two lipsticks and a powder compact.
Looked in Waterstones for the books I want and will order them off Amazon much cheaper Wink

MCPrammer · 19/10/2013 19:17

Bought a fresh sesame seeded baguette on my way home and am tempted to eat the whole thing. It's sooooo good.

PramChowder · 19/10/2013 19:36

I'm going out tonight! For the nursery committee night out. I'm stepping down as are a few other people who are moving on so we are going out to say goodbye. I really hope people are nice and fun and it isn't going to be all boring business tall because I might just fall asleep .

IceNoSlice · 19/10/2013 19:38

Is it me, or is Deborah Meaden looking fantastic on Strictly?

Jolleigh · 19/10/2013 19:38

Though it makes me giggle, I may have to stick to FB until normality comes back to the thread name-wise. I'm just not following who's said what now Sad

GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 19:44

MCprammer, don't you use that tone of voice with me, young lady! Knee length Doc Martens? Bet they're ace for Winterfell Which books dost thou speak of?

Enjoy your night out, Chowder.

I'm feeling a lot less evil now th'usband is home. He's had a brill day with Damien and I love to see him this happy when he gets home Smile

I'm sure Nelson isn't Andie cos she has barely posted on here in eons.

GameOfPrams · 19/10/2013 19:45
