Chip86 · 13/10/2013 07:03

Oh no thistle get better soon and i hope you get some sleep take care of your self

randdom · 13/10/2013 08:34

Thistle sorry you ate feeling rubbish

I am shattered. I went to a wedding yesterday and didn't get in until 23:30 am awake now and just want to sleep but can't. On the positive side thanks to my cyclizine I was able to eat and feel reasonable.

Random question has anyone else found that they can't drink tea? The thought makes me feel sick and I am really sad about it

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 09:15

Hope you managed to sleep thistle

randdom I can drink it in the evenings when ms kind of starts to die down, but not in the mornings. Like you said - thought makes me feel sick.

I thought I'd seen the light at the end of the tunnel of morning sickness... had a pretty good day yesterday... woke up this morning feeling rubbish. Got a cold coming out too... only just shifted the last one :( I just want to feel better :( on the bright side, scan on Thursday :)

rebeccax2 · 13/10/2013 09:27

Ha ha chip how amazing your eyes must look!

Thistle my boobs are ridiculous. I've gone up 2 cup sizes and 2 backsizes - now a 38E! I'm usually a 34C. They hurt, they look weird and alien. I know it's pure pregnancy swell too as I've only put on 2 pounds.

Very lucky random and Moon I have not gone off tea or coffee. Thank god I can't live without my morning brews.

dobedobedo · 13/10/2013 09:50

Sorry we're all feeling a bit shit! I think the miserable weather doesn't help!
My cold is thankfully on the way out. But now I think I have a wisdom tooth coming through! I'm 30, yet I've never had one before (maybe I'm not very wise!) but my whole jaw aches. Salt water helps apparently. Dh says it's pregnancy related gum soreness. Reckons he's a guru on pregnancy with his constant googling and "how to be a dad" books. Bless.
Today is a duvet day if ever there was one!

loopylou52 · 13/10/2013 10:02

I'm another one who's gone off tea (and coffee), which I normally live on. It makes me really sad - I miss a good cuppa!

I'm 10 weeks today and our embryo has officially become a fetus - so proud! Grin

Hope today is a better day for everyone feeling poorly. Thanks My dh is making bacon sandwiches and we'll be spending the rest of the morning on the sofa in pjs watching the grand prix. Off out for lunch with dh's sis later on to tell her the news.

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 10:06

I don't even know what size my boobs are these days but every morning I wake up OH goes "bloody hell they're massive", so I know that to get that kind of compliment off him, they must be huge.

dobedobedo · 13/10/2013 10:22

loopylou we must have the same due date. I'm 10 weeks today too!

Vikks · 13/10/2013 10:23

Moomin Ha Ha, DP says exactly the same to me 'they're massive'.... er thanks? Hmm
loopylou Congrats on your little fetus and enjoy spreading the good news today.
Dobe So cute your DH is a PG Guru, 'enjoy' your duvet day!
randdom Hot chocolate is the way forward.

Waves to everyone else x x x

rebeccax2 · 13/10/2013 10:25

Holy Moly!

I sneezed this morning and the pain was excruciating! And then, pink discharge which has stopped now. Eeeek! I suppose this is normal?

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 10:26

I'm going to make a bacon sandwich. Let's see how long this lasts Envy

Tomkat79 · 13/10/2013 10:40

rebecca I have to hold my belly when I sneeze as got caught out like that before. Painful isn't it!

rebeccax2 · 13/10/2013 10:43

tomkat
Thanks for replying. :-)
Excruciating! I think it caused pressure on my cervix and caused a little pinkish discharge.. TMI sorry... Feet up now. x

AliOh · 13/10/2013 10:51

I've had that a couple of times rebecca now I brace myself everytime I sneeze!

I haven't gone of tea myself but I know a lot of people on the thread said they have.

Really fancy a duvet day, it's definitely a staying in day anyway, going to cook a roast, and make jam tarts (I have leftover pastry from yesterday) stuff ourselves silly and probably crash out on the couch this afternoon. Love Sundays!

9+6 today :)

impatientlywaiting · 13/10/2013 11:17

Rebecca I've never had the pink discharge. But always gear myself up for a bit of pain when I sneeze, as I get a sharp stabby pain most times I sneeze.

Chips what an odd, but enjoyable symptom. You must be in the blooming phase.

snoozysleeper · 13/10/2013 11:41

Oh I thought there was something wrong with me! I'm so pleased (!) that other people have the sneeze symptom... It really is a sharp stabbing pain, I bring my knees up to my chest just before I sneeze and that does help Smile

Right... Off to catchup on rest of thread...

7+6 today

rebeccax2 · 13/10/2013 11:56

Thank god AliOh snoozy & impatiently seems it's really rather normal. I'm going to try the knees to chest trick next time. x

thistlelicker · 13/10/2013 12:10

I went and hada breakfast today with my friend. She got me a cars and flower!!! Made me cry

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 12:16

Symptoms seem to be fading today... I don't know if it's because I'm nearly at 12 weeks so I'm going into the good part, or because there's something wrong. So nervous about this scan on Thursday, somewhere in my head I'm convinced it's a MMC.

snoozysleeper · 13/10/2013 12:27

moomin try not to worry, you're at the stage now (12 weekish) where your symptoms will be settling down... It's totally natural for you to be thinking the way you though but be kind to yourself!

Flixy102 · 13/10/2013 12:35

Another one with the sharp stabby sneezy pain!

Moomin I'm sure you're just moving into the second trimester stage where we will all bloom! Lucky you! My symptoms come and go a bit too.

Feeling very tired and sickly today, also quite down and hormonal which isn't like me. Supposed to be going for a big Sunday lunch at 2 but really don't feel up to it, just want to lie in bed and mooch.

dobedobedo · 13/10/2013 12:50

Moomin I'm jealous! 12 weeks is that magic time where you feel better and see the scan. I'm sure everything is perfect.
I'm lying on the sofa watching dozens of friends episodes on comedy central and crying at every one. Especially that one where Ross was going to take Rachel to the prom... Sobbed for ages! Feels weirdly good.
Only puked once today, but feeling totally exhausted. Got the in laws coming round soon. Have managed to put a bra on under my pjs, but that's as far dressed as I can manage! Grin lazy day here!

MasterFlea · 13/10/2013 13:40

I can't drink tea or coffee in the morning either. Have one cup at 6pm and that's it. And I've gone off chocolate too. Shock There's a mahoosive bar of toblerone that DH brought back for me from a business trip and it hasn't been touched for a month. Unheard of!

Funny thing is, when i go off things with morning sickness, it can take a year for me to like them again. Probably just me though.
