Oh dear dobe, I feel for you. does your MiL know that you're pregnant? If so, could you go and have something really light and plain like a chapati or a few popodoms? If she doesn't know and you're going to feel awkward then maybe you say you're sick (not a lie) and can't go.

We've friends coming round for dinner. I would usually love it but not up for it for same reasons. My excuse tonight for not eating much is that I have a cold (not a lie, and it's really not fun with ms!)

Hope either way it goes ok, what I'd do for a night in my Jammies watching Strictly.... ;)

I've worked all morning, ate a McDonald's, food shopped and now collapsed at home. So tired and I don't even have ms like others. Maybe we are destined for quiet nights in from now on?! Haha

I feel lucky that I've been at home all day. In my pjs waiting for Strictly to come on! :-)
dobe if she knows and you really don't feel uo to it, then don't go. I'm sure she will understand :-) get the pjs on and snuggle down and watch tv xxx

Much sympathy for those feeling sick. If it helps I'm coming out the other end at 11 weeks so the end is in sight. And then you get the second trimester when you should feel much better. Saying that I didn't feel really amazing again until the day DS came out ha!

Glad swimming was fun moomin as for jacuzzi I was told by my gp that its not the temp that's the issue, its how hot YOU get. So if you go in and you feel comfy that's ok but if you feel flushed and get a sticky head that's too hot. I say this because in the last few months I loved for time in the jacuzzi for all the aches and pains and it was never too hot, only stayed I for 5/10 mins anyway. DS came out not overboiled

dobe stay at home. I've bailed on a curry tonight too, I cant get up without feeling sick. Really hungry but dont know what I want to eat. OH has just offered to get me scampi and chips from our local chippy before he takes dog for a walk. Think hes just realised how shit I feel.

Snap Cupcake McDonalds for me too, it really hit the spot! I’m food obsessed at the moment…. Just tucking into a toffee apple, yummy. It does feel as naughty because I’m having fruit too!
Dobe Good luck, I know I couldn’t do a curry now. Like Minions said stick to plain stuff or cancel if you can.

Hobbjobb Defo the scan would be more accurate. If I went by my LMP (30th July) I would be out by 10 days.

Just had a Saturday roast think just me and OH are going swimming again tomorrow as we have unlimited access now and we both loved it! Will probably still be busy but not overly fussed :)

Hope everyone's having a relaxing Saturday. Those of you being forced out into the cold, either enjoy yourselves if you're happy or call a rain-check if you're not, pretty sure that's one of the great things about being pregnant

Why do I allow myself to become my course's script-writer/organised person each year?

I have slept on and off all day so not moved from bed!

I'm going to attempt an afternoon/early evening nap. Spent all afternoon making quiche (it was yummy!) and we have DPs little brother over from Ireland so he is happy with the tele and the xbox. Getting slightly worried as he's put lots of posters up in the spare room - not sure how long he is planning on staying

Cyber that was horrible what you went through. Glad everything is fine though. I went through something similar with DD2 and had to wait a week for the transvaginal scan to confirm if there was a heartbeat or even if it was a MMC. I'm only ringing the midwife to arrange my first scan week as I want to be well along in the pregnancy to avoid that happening again.

Hobb Are you having another scan soon? If so, I'd see what that date says to give yourself a better idea. I think they stop changing the dates by what the scan indicates after week 12.

My menstrual cycle was between 37-42 days long so my dates are guesswork at the moment. And if the mw presumes 28 days then there'll be a big date difference.

I also think that pact is good. Still bfing my 20 month old but will wean her off before DC3 arrives. My best friend gave birth at the same time as me and formula fed hers and we supported each other completely. That's what friends do.

Thanks loopy... Shopping was a waste of time. I kept getting really dizzy and nothing I tried on fit because of my little swollen belly.

I'm tucked up in bed now viks - I went out for MIL's birthday and ate a little and then was sick. Thankfully I made it to the toilets first

Now very much in bed and I'm not moving from here ever again. I can hear the rain hammering on the windows and it's nice to be cosy

DP keeps buying me whatever I want (and it’s never healthy) I’m going to be the size of a house.

I have new symptom, going to out myself now,
I have two diffrent colour eyes, that most of the time people never notice,
I dont know if its because my face is one massive spot and all the goodness in my hair has been saped out so its dry and stuck to my head
that people are looking in my eyes, but i have had loads of people say "wow your eyes are amazing", since being pregnant
I do know my blue eye changes colour when im ill but there really bright and diffrent so strange, but nice
Well at least they not noticied my massive belly
