sparkleigh there's a good reason there has been no post birth picture of me yet!! I may get dressed and put on make up today though so you never know!!

cazboldy · 07/10/2013 08:00

Congrats Carcassone xx

40 weeks today!!!

OrangeBlossom2 · 07/10/2013 08:02

Happy due date Caz. Baby can come now you have your boys back and baby is fully cooked. Come on little one, get a move on.

Bronzemoth · 07/10/2013 08:09

Congratulations bowlful, funkky, rox and carcassone.

Jealous of the 12 hours sleep and chocolate cake orange my first day of maternity leave and I get a terrible nights sleep. I think I just got too excited then had some cramping. Uncomfortable and not reading too much into it but guess it means something is happening down there!

pinkbuttons · 07/10/2013 08:10

Congratulations carcassone

Lovely to hear lots of baby talk overnight from those of you who have already popped although has increased my jealousy even more. Smile

Good Luck today pseudo and moonblues and to anyone else SWIL.

Yey tarlia on sleeping on front and walking without crutches. Sorry its taking so long but glad you seem to be finally on the mend.

Sympathies to all struggling with bf and not getting much sleep and more sympathies to all who are overdue Grin

40+2 here. My mum has arrived in thw country and is taking DS for the night tonight. Either well get a full nights sleep tonight which will be lovely of well have a baby which would also be great. Had a wobble about DS feeling abandoned but mum happily pointed out that hed have more fun with her and my little brother than me in my heavily pregnant and grumpy state...

OrangeBlossom2 · 07/10/2013 08:15

Hopefully bronze!
I didn't sleep for the whole time but some good long chunks.

MrsHoratioNelson · 07/10/2013 08:26

Hi ready

Sorry I know I've forgotten stuff. Flowers for all xx

OrangeBlossom2 · 07/10/2013 08:33

Oh dear cake has given me upset tummy already and feel very sick. Stupid greedy me. Going back to bed with a bucket...

chickieno1 · 07/10/2013 08:47

Oh no poor you orange

xuntitledx · 07/10/2013 08:55

roxvox - thanks for sharing your story, you've given me some comfort! (Also have back to back baby...)

40+2 here, put my story on Facebook as had a false alarm yesterday so felt very sorry for myself yesterday.

Feeling better this morning but baby has definately outstayed his welcome in the tum and really needs to get a wiggle on!

DH was sad leaving for work this morning as we were both hoping we'd have a baby by now!

Shirehobbit · 07/10/2013 08:55

Quick check in before battery dies - not yet on ward, epic story.
But Alistair Lawrence arrived screaming (literally) at 5.40am. Around 7lb 5-7oz (no imperial conversions, yet)
Sorry for queue jumping Blush
Thanks for all the well wishes - will log on again later. xx

Shirehobbit · 07/10/2013 08:58

PS having been right way round for weeks, he turned to be back-to-back on Sat and was born back-to-back too.

xuntitledx · 07/10/2013 08:58

Congrats shire!! X

OrangeBlossom2 · 07/10/2013 09:01

Congratulations shire! Flowers

Livened · 07/10/2013 09:02

Well done shire and Rox - lovely news to wake up to.

Just a quick one for rox - my DS hated being on his back in the bedside crib (he is now a front sleeper so that makes sense!) - so this time with no2 I am going to try swaddling as it keeps the faff when plucking them out to feed to a minimum, keeps their body temp the same etc, and stops them waking themselves up with the startle reflex. You might be swaddling already as I think most hospitals do this from the get go, but just a suggestion maybe worth trying if not already? I remember Ds1 would only sleep on my chest for the first 8 weeks (lovely to start with, but not ideal for when he was getting older), so I'm hoping the swaddle might work this time!

X

chickieno1 · 07/10/2013 09:10

Congrats shire well done! Can't wait to see pics xx

livened how did you sleep? Missy is now asleep on my chest. I'm scared to fall asleep. She won't go in cot and wriggles her little arms out of swaddle. She's tiny so I've left her on my chest for now

Sanjifair · 07/10/2013 09:11

Many congratulations carcasonne and shire! Look forward to FB piccies. Hope they were straightforward births. Cheeky Alistair turning bank to back at the last minute!
Good luck today pseudo and moon.

MrsHoratioNelson · 07/10/2013 09:13

Congratulations Shire and I think I missed Carcassonne earlier as well.

Congratulations shire Hope you and Alistair are doing well Thanks

untitled just to send my sympathies, my DH had the same reaction this morning and double checked with me before going that I wasnt having contractions... Glad to still have a due date buddy Smile

Shootingstarsandcomets · 07/10/2013 09:23

Congrats shire!
Nothing happened to me overnight and having done some googling it seems that this bloody show business might mean nothing after all as it can still be weeks before you go into labour. Grrrrrrrrrr

tuckingfits · 07/10/2013 09:27

flyer & sanji I'm still here too. I am starting to question my sanity. I know I typed up a message last night...

Congrats shire. Sounds like a dramatic entrance!xx

Sanjifair · 07/10/2013 09:28

Flyer, I will admit I would love to join the rest of the 13 thers and go early, but as DS only came out at 40+14 after induction at 40+12, I suspect I'll be at the back of the bus...
