Thanks guys I think I will since I have the cash spare (!) not buying anything else though, must stop looking so I'm not tempted!

Sorry to hear your having such a bad time of it jelly hope you start feeling better soon and everyone else that is suffering at the moment

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 13:45

jelly must have been the decent summer we had, plus like you said weddings (romance and alcohol!) and holidays, got us all a bit randy ;)

I blame my OH for finally proposing on holiday, hence I am now 6+2!

OrangeMochaFrappucino · 28/09/2013 13:52

Yep, this little bean (or maybe olive by now?!) is a holiday souvenir...er, as was DS as well now I come to think of it...

AliOh · 28/09/2013 13:58

Well I'm sorry to say my story is not quite as romantic - I'm pretty sure ours is a make up sex baby Blush

onefunkymama · 28/09/2013 13:59

Hello folks- anyone else finding they have more saliva than normal? Wanting to feel 'more' preg soon, only 5+4.

Also, anyone know when the next midwife/ delivery program is on normal channels? Missing my fix!

onefunkymama · 28/09/2013 14:00

Ours as taken a while but suspect also a holiday baby

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 14:36

Ours was "parents are out of the house for a few hours, quick, let's do it" Hmm

thistlelicker · 28/09/2013 14:52

Ours was just one of them nights!! Hahaha

dobedobedo · 28/09/2013 14:53

Ours is either a holiday baby, or a drunken night out for dh's 30th. Oops!

JessicaRRRabbit · 28/09/2013 15:06

Ours was a hangover cure! Blush

Kri5ty · 28/09/2013 15:12

Ours was a "we have a childminder for the night".

thistle hellooooo fellow Manchester Gal, where about are you? We are in Urmston.

moomin i love your name... My twitter name includes moomin... Used to be obsessed with the word!

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 15:20

My parents have called me Moomin since I was a baby Grin My real name is Maddy, so I've always been Maddy Moomin/Maddy Moo. I'm 19 now and they still call me Moomintroll 90% of the time; it's easy to forget I have any other name Grin

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 15:24

Haha jelly come to think of it our dd2 was a holiday baby as well as this one, its the sunshine and cocktails that puts our guards down!

thistlelicker · 28/09/2013 15:30

Just by Heaton park :-)

Chip86 · 28/09/2013 16:09

Im sat on M25 car park yay

Our baby was a dont worry about protection this time been reading MN its all most impossible to get pregnant ooops Blush

Spirael · 28/09/2013 16:22

Ahah, found you all! And just spent ages catching up. Type slower! Wink

Is that true about the flu vaccination for 2/3 YO's, Halfbaked? Shock My DD had her nasal vac this morning. I've got my MW appointment, so it's not like the surgery didn't know that I'm pregnant.

Oh well, too late to worry about it now! Hopefully it's just because there's a fractionally higher chance of passing on weakened flu or something. I'm pretty robust, so I'm sure it'll be fine. :)

Cybercat · 28/09/2013 17:00

I've just been told off by my mother for mowing the lawn (more so for yanking the pull cord) and doing too much. Feel suitably chastised lol!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 17:09

Lol cybercat I got told of at toddler group by one of the lovely old dears for picking up one of the toddlers I look after! If your doing something wrong your body will tell you, for example my dd aged 3 insisting that she come and plonk herself on my stomach whilst I was laying on the sofa watching tv last night, it felt really uncomfortable so I knew she had to move.

AliOh · 28/09/2013 17:11

So according to the midwife who just left a message on my phone I'm actually 12 weeks not 8ish when my last period was on 5th August?! And she rang me from my doctors surgery where I made the original appointment with GP for referral and they can't find any trace of me on the system?! This does not reassure me!

Halfbaked · 28/09/2013 17:14

spirael yep it was in the leaflet they sent, that was a bit rubbish of them not to ask, as I would imagine a reasonable proportion of women may well be pregnant. There are certainly quite a few of us, just on this thread, with 2-3 year olds. I'm sure you'll be fine though, I guess you could always ask for the jab too, I assume its the same strain.

DH took DD out, got shopping including cake- result!

BananaHammocks · 28/09/2013 17:21

Ooooooh I just got a really strong metallic taste in my mouth! Was prodding around trying to find out what was bleeding and there was not blood on my finger so looked in the mirror and nothing, I think I may have finally had a symptom! Yay for me! 6+1.

Spirael · 28/09/2013 17:28

I've done a bit of checking online and it sounds like it'll be ok, Halfbaked. :) The nasal vaccine isn't licensed for pregnant women (doesn't necessarily mean it's not safe) but there doesn't seem to be any evidence to suggest being around someone who's had it is a problem. Probably just your GP being extra cautious.

I'm amused by those of you told to rest... I spent my morning fitting blinds to three large windows and my afternoon up a ladder playing with a power drill and electricity to get a new PIR light fitted to the front of the house. No rest here! Wink

BoogiesBunny · 28/09/2013 17:39

Hi all on this shiny new thread! I believe that I am making up cravings to hide my true nature (which I am well aware of) as a very greedy person. Usually I'm good at eating well and manage to avoid my two favourite snacks - salt and vinegar crisps and jelly babies. I've just finished a whole bag of jelly babies (which never leaves you feeling good) and ate massive bags of crisps the last two nights. I know it's not a craving but when standing in the shop it's so easy to justify it. Oh well... I'll make up for it tomorrow!

Our boiler burst on Wednesday night so the plumbers have been here all day putting in a new one. I hate having workmen in - your house doesn't feel your own. I had to hold a wee in for 5hours!! When lovely DH eventually found out he asked them to go outside while I went as he didn't want me being uncomfortable down there. He is shaping up to be amazing in this pregnancy.

We conceived in August with ICSI. After 2.5years of trying I no longer understand how it just happens for you lucky ladies! It is beyond me! Don't you need doctors, drugs and all sorts to help it along?? LOL!

7+3

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 17:40

Spirael good on you girl!

I on the other hand nearly threw up in DP's face because his aftershave smelt horribly strong, then bollocked him for putting on too much. Poor man sheepishly explained that he put same amouny on as normal and thinks I may be a bit sensitive at the moment!

JodeyP · 28/09/2013 17:43

DS1 was a 'New Year's Eve baby' ;-D and this one will be an 'anniversary celebration evening whilst on holiday baby'.

Welcome to all the newbies. I really don't get chance to come on here during the week with work and DS1 but I'm currently lying in a queen sized bed after a wedding breakfast, about to have a little nap before the evening reception starts. I have no child or DH so thought I'd check in on MN whilst I have some ME time. Heaven xx

Hope everyone is well. I'm having waves of mild nausea but nothing major as yet.
