So sorry Bohemond, this thread has had such bad news today!

Please look after yourself and I hope you won't be trying too long before you get your sticky bean.

dobedobedo Most men are just frightened that a pregnant woman is going to eat them. Literally. With a side of KFC bucket and an entire wedding cake.

Your MW should book your dating scan next week snoozy Smile Waiting sucks doesn't it.

loopylou ow my eyes. hugs! Grin

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 18:41

Oh that's good thepfj so hopefully should hear about scan soonish ... I'm not good at waiting, as you can tell Grin

moominleigh94 · 07/10/2013 18:47

So, so sorry Bohemond and onefunkymama. Thanks and future sticky bean wishes for both of you.

Got home from uni to find my scan appointment; a week on Thursday and it clashes with an assessment at uni, but I'll be 12+3 that day, and I really don't want to be putting it off any further. Need to go and speak to my lecturer and ask to do my assessment in the afternoon.

Caved in and had McDonalds chicken nuggets again today. It's a good job I can't eat before 12pm, that's all I'm saying Grin

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 18:47

I am crap at waiting. And being able to whinge about it on here is a big savior to me. 9 weeks took soooooooooooooo long to get to. I found out I was pg at 4weeks +2days.... that seems like months ago!!!!! >.

thistlelicker · 07/10/2013 18:48

Can u believe we nearly on our 4th thread!!!!!:)

Dylanlovesbaez · 07/10/2013 18:48

So sorry to hear your news Bohemond and onefunkymama.

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 18:56

Ah moomin I'm sure the uni will be flexible with you, they're normally pretty good with these things

And thistle I know I'm quite excited about a fourth thread too!!

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 18:59

thepfj I found out at 3+2 I totally understand what you mean!

bluestone85 · 07/10/2013 19:02

Thank you bushprincess, its nice to have company :) I'm also very glad that I'm not the only one getting impatient. Who knows what I/we will all be like after the 12 weeks. Probably wishing it would hurry up to 20 weeks to see our little babies again :)

Its my first pregnancy, so I'm excited and apprehensive all at the same time. I blaming that for me being so impatient, not the fact that I am anyway, hehehe. 2 weeks to booking appointment, so hopefully on 4 more weeks until I get my scan!

Any more cake going spare?? Cake x

bluestone85 · 07/10/2013 19:04

*only 4 more weeks

Also, only 4 more weeks until scan? That sounds like forever away!!

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 19:07

bluestone of course there's cake going spare!

It's my first pregnancy too and you're due only one day after me Smile as it stands anyway, I think they date on the 12 week scan .

moominleigh94 · 07/10/2013 19:09

snoozy I hope so :) the particular assessment is working with GPs from the hospital where the scan is at, role-playing as patients to teach them how to be good GPs, so that's quite ironic Grin

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 19:21

moomin that is ironic but sounds like a fun assessment !

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 19:23

snoozy Wow. What did you use to find out THAT early???!!! o.O

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 19:28

I used a sainsbury's pregnancy test, the only one left on the shelf. I tested again 2 days later and then 4 days later with clearblue so I've managed to convince myself now ... I did the test because I thought I was ill but DH thought I was pregnant... He was right Blush

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 19:29

Should have read 3+3 by the way

MasterFlea · 07/10/2013 19:34

Thanks to onefunkymama and bohemond. Sorry to hear.

bluestone85 · 07/10/2013 19:56

Hehehe thanks snoozy, always room for cake!

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what date they give me on the scan. I've had different dates on different websites, but I think the 27th is the most likely. But I'm thinking I will have little bean in early June :) Any thoughts on what you think you're having? Have you got your booking appointment?

Magpie78 · 07/10/2013 20:07

Hey everyone! Cried off of Monday morning meeting fortunately my boss knows so combined with my fetching shade of green this morning I was excused. Bought some of the travel bands today, seem to help a bit but after three days worrying because everything seemed to be fading it was a relief to have them back. Have another scan Friday when I should be 6 + 6 please everyone wish me that little heartbeat, pretty worried about it to be honest. Hugs to all x

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 20:10

Wow tests can really pick up a pg early can't they? That's very cool Smile

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 20:12

Good Luck for Friday Magpie78 I am sure you'll hear a wee heartbeat then Smile
btw 78 is my favourite year Wink

mumof2aimingfor4 · 07/10/2013 20:15

PFJ let us know how you get on as soon as you get back from your scan tomorrow morning. Xx

magpie sending you heartbeat vibes. Im sure you'll see that little flicker on the screen where buba's heart is beating away xx

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 20:17

Hi magpie fingers crossed you see the little heartbeat Smile I hope the band aids give you some relief

bluestone my booking-in appt is next Tuesday ..do you mean boy or girl? I don't know I feel like bean will be a girl but waiting for 20week scan for that. I would love either boy or girl. People say you tend to be late with your first born so could end up being early June too but having said that my mum gave birth to me at 36 weeks Confused

McRedHead · 07/10/2013 20:18

I missed you post yikes earlier, sorry to hear about your mum Thanks

dobedobe fetishes made me laugh so much, it reminded me I had to do my pelvic floor!!!

(I think the next thread should have some kind of cake reference. One of you lever word-smiths could make a play on that...?! Cake )
