Oh funkymama so so sorry, my thoughts are with you and your OH.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 07/10/2013 12:01

Oh PFJ a few weeks ago I would have drained thay pot of tea, but now I cant stomach the thoight of it! So annoying as I was a tea monster, even turned my dd's into tea lovers (milked down). Ill take a piece of cake though ;)
How are you feeling?

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 12:07

I am sick as a dog. But I have my 9 week scan tomorrow.. so I am very happy and blessed to have that reassurance. My scalp is doing odd things as well... it's really sensitive. Very strange.
How are you mumof2 ?

onefunkymama · 07/10/2013 12:13

Thank you to everyone for your sympathy. Feeling a bit teary myself at the moment, so grateful this was not my first pregnancy as experience is helping a lot right now.

I know we can have healthy babies as we've had two already, so we'll try again. Something was wrong with the baby, it must have been so its natures way of saying 'have another go.'

I've booked a DR appointment to start looking into 'why' as this is my second MC in a row, according to the docs, but actually I think its my third in three cycles.

I hope my posting this here is not upsetting you lovely preggy ladies. My best wishes are with you all.

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 12:24

onefunkymama Good Luck. I think you are right about nature doing the right thing. Doesn't make it any easier though - you are being amazingly brave. Hope your doc refers you to a gyno to do some tests. Huge hugs and I hope you have a healthy baby soon. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

impatientlywaiting · 07/10/2013 12:35

I'm so sorry Onefunkymama, hold your kids close and look after yourself. It's such a horrendous thing to go through, I'm so sorry it's happened.

Thinking of you xxxxx

Hi all :)

I'm due approx 27th May. Time is passing so slowly! Got MW appointment a week on wednesday and then will have to wait even more time for scan to see little bean!

Not many symptoms at the moment. Had quite a lot of cramping, and getting the odd wave of nausea, a small amount of dizziness and occassional headache.

bluestone85 · 07/10/2013 12:50

So sorry to hear that onefunkymama! Take care of yourself xx

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 12:52

Hi bluestone the waiting is a right pain isn't it? Well you won't be alone here - help yourself to cake!! Smile

bluestone85 · 07/10/2013 13:01

Hi PFJ, it is a pain, but then again, if I saw little bean now, he would look like a little alien! So I guess some more cooking time before I see that he's in there is a good idea :) I'm calling bean a 'him' already, just got a feeling thats correct. Chinese baby predictor thinks the same too, hehe. Will be a bit of a shock if bean is a girl, but would be happy either way!

How far along are you? How are you feeling?

Mmm cake. Don't mind if I do :)

mumof2aimingfor4 · 07/10/2013 13:25

PFJ im in the same boat as you, feel so rough. The nausea is horrendous, I think I would actually prefer to be sick now just for some relief. Family that do know we are expecting are convinced its a boy as I was pretty much fine with dd's. So fingers crossed, I would like a little boy.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 07/10/2013 13:29

PFJ what time is your scan tomorrow? We'll be eagerly waiting for you to let us know how you get on. That'll be your 2nd early scan wont it?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 07/10/2013 13:31

funkymama I totally agree that nature has intervened for a reason. You are a very strong woman, keep that admirable positivity about you and number three will be making their way into your beautiful family in no time.

Flixy102 · 07/10/2013 13:57

So sorry funkymama, I dont know your circumstances but have experience of mc so my heart goes out to you. You sound amazingly strong and I know you'll get through this and come out stronger.

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 14:44

I'm sorry to hear your news onefunkymama Flowers

hobbjobb · 07/10/2013 14:45

I'm so sorry funkymama look after yourself and take some time to recover.

Also welcome bluestone

I've not had the best of weekends. After small bleed last week, I've had some moe spotting and yesterday pain down the right side of my belly so I wen to the hospital today for some tests and I have a scan booked in for Wednesday to check everything's looking ok. I feel nervous but also quite calm, I know what will be will be and at this point I can't change that...

thistlelicker · 07/10/2013 14:54

Sorry funky mama!! Thanks Xxx

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 15:04

Welcome bluestone

And hobb best of luck for scan on weds , I agree with your thoughts on it though

dobedobedo · 07/10/2013 15:42

Welcome bluestone ! Also to hobbjobb - good luck for your scan on Wednesday. It sounds like you have a good outlook.

Has anyone noticed themselves acting out of character since being pregnant? I find that I can lose my shit at the tiniest thing lately. It's making me feel terribly guilty because while I don't direct any ranting and raving to ds, he's bound to notice that I'm not the laid back, chilled mum that he's used to and I don't want him to feel any negative effects of this pregnancy/baby. He's a worrier. How can I keep these damn hormones in check?

bluestone85 · 07/10/2013 15:46

Thanks hobbjobb snoozysleeper and "dobedobedo*

Good luck with everything hobbjobb :)

McRedHead · 07/10/2013 15:49

so sorry to hear about more sickness and bad news. Do we have stats on how many people are actually -gloating- symptom free?

Booking in done. Almost a whole hour and no part of my past untouched later, I'm done. but very jealous of all the rainbow notes. Mine are grey! Maybe more discreet is better at this stage!

I'll join in with the tea. Got a slice of carrot cake too, helping reach my 5 a day!!! Brew Cake

snoozysleeper · 07/10/2013 16:04

Oh I love carrot cake , I might take a slice too definitely counts towards 5 a day Wink

thistlelicker · 07/10/2013 16:09

Symptom fee here!

dobedobedo · 07/10/2013 16:15

I'm so jealous of you ladies with no symptoms! I want to take two bricks to DH's balls after this baby is born - I never want to be pregnant AGAIN!

ThePFJ · 07/10/2013 16:20

mumof2 My scan is at 11am. I am exactly 9 weeks today... I feel like I am really getting used to being pg again now! Fx for a boy baby.

Mmmmm carrot cake... oh man do I need carrot cake now............ damn damn damn....

dobedobedo I have been losing it BIG time since I have been pg. There is no real way to cure it, it will hopefully get better in trimester 2, but the thing I try to do is identify when I am losing it, and tell my DH straight away. Then if I make him suffer at least I warned him Wink
Don't fall into the trap of letting your OH win every argument because if you are pg you must be thinking all over the place 24/7. This isn't true.. We just have hot tempers... that's all.

more cake please!
