moominleigh94 · 02/10/2013 19:09

I have morning sickness, sore tingly boobs, exhaustion, so many hormonal outbursts, cravings... and at times I don't even believe I'm pregnant Grin

Flixy102 · 02/10/2013 19:12

Think I'll be doubting it until a baby actually appears out of me Grin

Choppa · 02/10/2013 19:14

[Flixy, impatiently, thistle] I had NO symptoms whatsoever with my son. Only really knew I was pregnant when bump started to get bigger and the kicking started! I had 4 scans by 12 weeks just cos I was so sure I was making it up! Paranoid or what?
Everything will be fine... It won't be long before you are being kicked to sleep Smile

Choppa · 02/10/2013 19:15

Oops.. I used the []when in meant the **

Story of my lifeHmm

thistlelicker · 02/10/2013 19:16

I'm so fat I don't think I'll have bump as such x

Magpie78 · 02/10/2013 19:20

I had a complete meltdown this morning because I got up and felt fine. Convinced myself that something must be wrong and then started feeling sicker than I ever had about 10am for the rest of the day! Any recommendations for good things to do when you feel like that? Doesn't help that I have a 45 minute commute to work every morning....bleurgh! Have got early scan tomorrow at I think 5 + 5 and really hoping its all ok, also keep dreaming of twins so I wonder how many are actually in there! On the positive side I love my new found don't mess with me attitude, is very handy when working in London :)

moominleigh94 · 02/10/2013 19:22

Flixy I like the way you said that; conjures up images of it just materialising outside you with no foof shreddery (I refuse to use the v-word) involved Grin

Flixy102 · 02/10/2013 19:28

Thankyou for the wise words choppa

Think I'm in denial about how the baby is going to appear out of me Shock

thistlelicker · 02/10/2013 19:57

I think I have a virus!!! Can't stop pooing!!!! Sorry tmi

ThePFJ · 02/10/2013 19:57

And then, as if by magic... Mr Baby appeared.

(And Lo all the angels in heaven went 'Awwwwwwwwwwwwww')

JessicaTheWereRRRabbit · 02/10/2013 20:05

Hi everyone, hope everyone and their mini bumps is doing well. I've had a busy few days so not had chance to check in (it takes a while to transform into a WereRRRabbit lol.)

Arf at foof shreddery moomin

Had booking in on Monday and now have lots of form filling and reading to do. The best thing is that the community midwife team seem to be behind my choice of HVBAC - not that I would have taken no for an answer! Grin

Going back upthread to catch up now xx

Raspberry+4 today

ThePFJ · 02/10/2013 20:23

Whats a HVBAC??? I know what a VBAC is...... Hmm

Squiffie · 02/10/2013 20:26

I have a UTI. Just been to out of hours as our surgery is crap! I now have anti-B's and paracetamol.

What I did discover was that I should be taking a vit D supplement alongside folic acid (I think I am as I'm taking a pregnancy multi-vit) but its the first time it's be mentioned by anyone. Did you all know this? Please tell me its not just me. Hmm

Flixy102 · 02/10/2013 20:27

I thought it maybe stood for home?

Squiffie · 02/10/2013 20:29

Yeah, think the 'h' is gor home!

Squiffie · 02/10/2013 20:30

Yeah, think the 'h' is gor home!

Squiffie · 02/10/2013 20:31

Oops, double posting Confused

JessicaTheWereRRRabbit · 02/10/2013 20:31

HVBAC is a VBAC at home ThePFJ Smile And this post of yours upthread brought a tear to my eye...

"On my thread 5 years ago with DS we ALL waited until the very last one of us had popped grin It was the most awesome count down EVER... That last month was magic... every day there were ladies measuring contractions together, deciding if it was time to go into hospital yet..... and then coming back a day or so later with birth stories and pictures of very cute babies.............arghhh I am tearful now..... balls.... It was just so bloody brilliant to have that kind of support..... We can soo do that for eachother can't we? smile sniff... snort... I need a tissue..... You sound like an amazing bunch of women Thanks

Sorry to see that a good few of us are struggling with ms atm. Can anyone recommend some remedies that worked for them? Gingernut biscuits were a lifesaver for me early on...

So pleased about your good news Cbeebies and will also pm you for your blog link if that's okay

JessicaTheWereRRRabbit · 02/10/2013 20:32

Major X post re HVBAC lol.

Magpie78 · 02/10/2013 20:36

Hey thistle, I have the same issue as you.......mainly in the morning :))

thistlelicker · 02/10/2013 20:40

Sorry! I seem to have a lot of Ishoos and questions !!!!

ThePFJ · 02/10/2013 21:03

Awwwwwwwww Jessica.... thanks.... I am a right emotional moo cow at the moment.... mooo

Re VBAC - this is something they are going to try and persuade me to do... I am not as brave as you - no way I would ever have a home birth...Complete and utter AWE for ladies who have btw.
Basically I am a total wuss when it comes to pain.... every episode of One Born Every Minute I watch, the more torn I am between the idea of keeping er.... how can I put this..... Keeping My Lady Garden Hollywood and doing a c-section.... and the idea of going for a natural birth. I know I have to see the consultant soon, and make up my mind.

Hope you get well soon thistle

Chip86 · 02/10/2013 21:25

BoogiesBunny · 02/10/2013 21:31

Flixy, impatiently, thistle it still makes me feel so much more assured that you guys don't have symptoms either (my boob ache keeps going away and coming back too). Do the people who know keep asking how you're feeling, and being a bit disappointed when you say 'fine'? I wish they'd stop as it makes me more worried.
