I caught up at last - yay! Been missing hearing all of your news in real time rather than days late.
hayley I'm sorry to hear Issac is poorly, I hope he recovers soon. So glad to hear that you have support as even our 24 hours in NICU was so tough. You are doing amazingly pumping his feeds - my left boob gets bigger and more engorged too. If its tender though, is it a bit lumpy? If so try massaging and stroking towards the nipple as you are pumping.
Huge congratulations to ruby and GT (hope I've not forgotten anyone!!)
Good luck Umla, hope you are holding Bertie now. Wishing those of you leaking and having shows lots of luck.
orange I'm a bit confused - are you due an induction? DH will not be sent away out of visiting hours if you are admitted to hospital in active labour. This will only happen if you are on the ward for something else. It's normal for partners to be asked to leave when they are doing spinals/epi, but if your DH is in agreement (discuss before) that he is happy to stay then insist on it. He can actually be a big support for you to lean your head into his chest whilst its done - I had to have head basically in MWs boobs as my DP wasn't there.
Nat are you excited for tomorrow?
I've forgotten everything else I've read but remember some of you were asking after baby and I along the way, thank you. We were discharged on Monday and I'm at home recovering. DS2 is a little milk monster but you can tell he was forced out early as he is awake for probably less than an hour in total each day. DS1 is smitten but also a bit jealous and is punishing me a bit, which is tough as I still am unable to get on the floor and play.
