Congratulations GT! Thanks

Hope the scan goes well heffalump.

Chickien why don't you call midwife today to discuss those questions over the phone? I would be the same as you but Sometimes you have to be a bit pushy.

Horrible night with my pgp again. Spread to constant pain on inner thighs/groin, bony bit on top of outer thighs and pubic bone as well as hips and coccyx. Funny enough my back isn't actually as sore as it used to be but maybe other things just divert the pain. I think this pregnancy would have been really easy without the pgp. Keep thinking I will get some proper rest when I am not pregnant any more but I know that won't be the case Grin

PseudoBadger · 27/09/2013 06:37

You will Orange, as at least when you get the chance to sleep you'll be able to!

ananikifo · 27/09/2013 06:51

Congrats GT! Thanks

Good luck to umlauf and everyone in labour today.

It's so exciting to wake up and check the thread now.

Today is my last day of work and I'm so ready for it! Grin

Mnippy · 27/09/2013 07:01

Congrats Gt! Hope you manage to get some rest.

Good luck to Umlauf, Heffa, and everyone SWIL

SC here.

Pseudo - I'm hoping the same I.e. that I may get less sleep after baby arrives but I least I can sleep comfortably and without back pain!

thethreeblondies · 27/09/2013 07:10

Congratulations Gt can't wait to hear all about it later xx

The 27th of September is a brilliant day to have a birthday, any babies born today are very lucky (just not sure I want mine today though! Pizza hut planned for tea!) So come on Umlauf I'd like a baby born on my birthday please!

Natalieand · 27/09/2013 07:10

Racheld33 · 27/09/2013 07:30

Congratulations GT hope you got some sleep last night and feeling a bit less exhausted xxx Thanks

Sending lots of love to heffa I know you were waiting for your c section, so hopefully it was just wee and you can get back to SC status Cake

and umlauf hoping your baby comes safely today for you, and you'll be enjoying cuddles soon! (I was one of the first with you on the first October thread and wow what a lifetime ago that feels!) Brew

Today is my official DUE DATE however feel completely normal and healthy (and at my 12 week scan they put my date forward by 6 days even though I new when I ovulated cos I was charting) so really, don't class being overdue till another week

Tarlia · 27/09/2013 07:34

I caught up at last - yay! Been missing hearing all of your news in real time rather than days late.

hayley I'm sorry to hear Issac is poorly, I hope he recovers soon. So glad to hear that you have support as even our 24 hours in NICU was so tough. You are doing amazingly pumping his feeds - my left boob gets bigger and more engorged too. If its tender though, is it a bit lumpy? If so try massaging and stroking towards the nipple as you are pumping.

Huge congratulations to ruby and GT (hope I've not forgotten anyone!!)

Good luck Umla, hope you are holding Bertie now. Wishing those of you leaking and having shows lots of luck.

orange I'm a bit confused - are you due an induction? DH will not be sent away out of visiting hours if you are admitted to hospital in active labour. This will only happen if you are on the ward for something else. It's normal for partners to be asked to leave when they are doing spinals/epi, but if your DH is in agreement (discuss before) that he is happy to stay then insist on it. He can actually be a big support for you to lean your head into his chest whilst its done - I had to have head basically in MWs boobs as my DP wasn't there.

Nat are you excited for tomorrow?

I've forgotten everything else I've read but remember some of you were asking after baby and I along the way, thank you. We were discharged on Monday and I'm at home recovering. DS2 is a little milk monster but you can tell he was forced out early as he is awake for probably less than an hour in total each day. DS1 is smitten but also a bit jealous and is punishing me a bit, which is tough as I still am unable to get on the floor and play.

Tarlia · 27/09/2013 07:35

Happy birthday, blondies - enjoy your pizza, yum - and happy due date rachel.

Haylebop12 · 27/09/2013 07:45

tarlia thank you. I pumped for a few extra minutes last night to ensure I was emptying it and it felt loads better. Today my tight is bigger Hmm suppose I'll get used to it as it will settle down eventually!

Haylebop12 · 27/09/2013 07:46

Right* obviously...

OrangeBlossom2 · 27/09/2013 07:54

Glad you have been discharged Tarlia.
No induction planned, hoping I don't go far overdue. Probably worrying about nothing then, but don't want DH to be sent home because they think it will be ages but I have to stay in for monitoring or something.

Natalieand · 27/09/2013 07:59

When I was admitted to the maternity ward in early labour (I was 2cm) I was only allowed one person with me until I got to 4cm and dh had to go home as him and my mum were with me and mum wasn't insured on our car too take him home and leave dh there luckily dh's nan lives half the distance from the hospital so he went back there for a few hours sleep.

I'm more nervous I think tarlia incase ppl realise that I knew all along lol glad to head u are all well? Does baby tarlia have a name yet? Xx

Glad to hear all is going well with u too hayle enjoy dd's assembly this morning xxx

JellyCurls · 27/09/2013 08:02

Congrats GT and hope things progressing well Umlauf. Good luck for today's scan Heffa

Thanks to everyone else cause I can't remember what I have read.

SC at 39+4, been passing my show since I had internal exam on Wednesday but surprisingly the BH have stopped. Best night sleep last night, only one wee stop at 2.30 then DS woke me at 7.30 or I would still be sleeping.

Happy Friday everyone Smile

AnythingNotEverything · 27/09/2013 08:04

Umlauf · 27/09/2013 08:11

Albert is here! He is pretty special! I loved the epidural but struggled through labour as I was so drowsy and had no pushing energy. 2nd degree tear ouch! Sorry to not catch up on thread properly

PseudoBadger · 27/09/2013 08:14

Congratulations GT Smile xx

Hope all is going well umlauf

Happy Birthday threeblondies

Lovely to hear from you Tarlia, and glad you are home Smile

Orange - I have no idea how i've lost weight! I've eaten quite a lot of crap!! I was a bit overweight when I got pg, which I struggle with due to the PCOS, so can only be that that disappeared....... Never usually struggle with my weight, so thats how I knew it had returned. Fingers crossed it doesn't come back after this baby!

Pseudo Good Luck at GOSH xxx

Heffa - hope you get on ok today xxx

Hayle really hope Isaac is on the mend xxx - I agree with what clapham says one boob always "better", and baby ends up having a favourite. Never had a noticeable size difference in mine though. I would ask, in case you have a blocked duct or something xx

cazboldy · 27/09/2013 08:22

wow x posts while I was catching up!!!!

Congratulations and well done umlauf xx
