Big hugs from one jelly to another, I had tears and snotters today too. Lets start tomorrow with smiles on our faces and stick two fingers up at everyone who asks if we are still pregnant not that I am emotionally unstable I am going to tell people my womb is nice and comfy and baby doesn't want to leave

OrangeBlossom2 · 30/09/2013 21:21

Do you mean it isn't engaged bowlful? Do you have any children already? I forget. Second babies are meant to engage really close to birth if thats any consolation. Hope it gets a wriggle on soon.

chickieno1 · 30/09/2013 21:23

Poor you bowlful I remember that feeling from last time :(. My only suggestion is a good cry and some chocolate.

I'm reading the thread but don't get a chance to post immediately with the time difference so apologies if I forget stuff.

mon thinking of you and your family. It's good someone from the support team got in touch as I'd say it makes a huge difference talking to someone who has been through it all before. I haven't known any babies with ToF but have known teenagers and adults with it and as with everything there is a spectrum. Hopefully when Eliana is born you will get to spend some time with her and then take it from there. Try and get some rest and good food before thurs to help with your own recovery Flowers xx

falcon it's good that you're getting help ASAP as I'm sure many mothers leave it quite long. Glad you have support from your dh. Take care of yourself xx

To all the ladies who are due today or overdue please try not to get too disheartened. It can all happen very soon Flowers

I can't believe some of you are still working monkey, orange hopefully the time goes really quickly so you can at least be on mat leave and maybe put your feet up for a bit.

Feeling a bit emotional and overwhelmed today. Just feel like I want to cry. Would prob feel better if I did Hmm. Just feel like I'm not prepared for this baby and my life is so disorganised and will be even more so for the next while. Probably normal with any change coming up esp when we've had a lot of changes in the last year. I think my dh is stressed too which isn't helping cos I'm in no state to reassure him boo. I'm sure it'll look better tomorrow.

Sorry for the essay

chickieno1 · 30/09/2013 21:24

Hi bridget hope you're feeling a bit better

chickieno1 · 30/09/2013 21:28

And not sure if said it earlier, congrats cherry

gt haven't used it myself but heard arnica helps? Hope things settle soon

Hope all going ok favellio

BowlFullofJelly · 30/09/2013 21:34

Thats nice jelly - I'll probably just tell them to fuck off Smile. Yes not engaged orange, its my 2nd so I know its normal, but still really disappointing. Thanks for the sympathy all - I don't deserve as I'm just being impatient, but still appreciated.

Pinkforboys · 30/09/2013 21:41

Thanks and Cake to all those that have had emotional and bad days.

I think I'll be spending a lot of time on all fours too. I think Madam's wriggled around to back-back. Might make knitting a bit tricky though...

monkey i feel the same way- those comments about 'how time has gone so quickly!' fall flat. I don't know your story, but having also had fertility issues this pg has been incredibly long! (Far longer than 9months in the making...)

DS brought home a Michael Rosen book for me to read to him this eve that he'd chosen from the library- Howler. All about a new baby arriving (from a dog's perspective Hmm) Really sweet of him. Hopefully a sign that he's looking forward to the new addition now.

Pinkforboys · 30/09/2013 21:43

Oh and BowlofJelly two mates told me their DC2 was overdue Sad I was really hoping the trend was to be early with no.2...

favellio · 30/09/2013 22:03

very quick update to say that my son Jack was born at 4.30pm today after a very traumatic and long labour. he weighed 7lb 2oz and is currently recovering in neonatal Smile

Pinkforboys · 30/09/2013 22:06

MrsHoratioNelson · 30/09/2013 22:19

Congrats!

Babies arriving thick and fast now hopefully - I'm just trying to work out if there are enough babies to keep up this excellent rate of 2 a day?! I'm going to get quite disappointed if we have a no baby day tomorrow Smile

Could someone add me to the spreadsheet please, I seem unable to do it Sad

DD of Oct 21st, girl, Olivia.

Thanks Smile hoping to meet her sooner rather than later!

KarmaBiatch · 30/09/2013 22:32

oooh and massive congrats favellio Grin Grin

monkeytree · 30/09/2013 22:50

Congratulations favellio

.......and a big wave to all of the ladies on the back of the bus with me (due date 25th October)

Yes Pink, my fertility issues have made this pregnancy seem a whole lot longer with everything baby focused over the past couple of years! Will cry with relief when dd2 comes along safely, still touch my bump with disbelief and ask myself is this really happening?

Surprised I am still working as finished work early due to feeling really bad when expecting DD1. Enjoy my job but have to admit it's getting a bit much now. Keep telling myself I will call in sick if I have a really bad night but somehow manage to keep going. I want the time with DD2 after she is born but have now got to the point where it's not easy to be at work anymore. DH keeps reminding me that I can stop at any time. Work on it's own would be fine but then it is the whole issue of the school run/getting her to after school clubs which is very tiring as I get more tired as the day goes on. As soon as DH comes in from work I hand over cooking etc to him and I am able to put my feet up. Bliss.

char1eston · 30/09/2013 22:57

jelly - I was only 2/5 engaged at my last midwife apt and baby was born just over a week later Smile

FeministInTraining · 01/10/2013 00:47

Congratulations Favellio! Flowers

Somehow Karma has been added to the births spreadsheet. Don't think she's met Olivia yet Grin I can't add in the right place on the EDD sheet on the iPad though, so just being the annoying one who points it out sorry Blush

chickieno1 · 01/10/2013 01:39

Forgot to say before karma your in laws sound pretty intense! I think I read a thread you had written about them a few months ago. Hopefully things are a bit better now.

chickieno1 · 01/10/2013 01:41

So on a more frivolous note, had a bikini wax today and OMG was it sore!! Thinking about getting a pedicure as last treat....... I should probably try and save the money and just paint my toenails myself! What would you ladies do :)

KarmaBiatch · 01/10/2013 03:22

chickie get the pedicure!! Grin

in-laws are back on speaking terms, but everything has been brushed under the rug which I don't like.. if something is going to be resolved then I damn well want to tell them how shit they made me feel! I'm putting up with them now for the sake of their unborn GC, but I wish they didn't just slip back to pretending they didn't act like total twats for 4 months! Angry

legallyblond · 01/10/2013 04:24

Congratulations Favellio!!!!!
