Yay Rock! Grin

So who's up next?

Imeg · 24/09/2013 19:15

Hi,

Pram thanks for mentioning the Nip/Tuck episode - I haven't seen it but remember reading about it when I researched the condition myself, but I'd completely forgotten about it. I might see if I can get hold of it.
Thanks again for all your encouragement: I appreciate it. We have plenty of time to get used to the idea before it's due anyway.

LyraSilvertongue · 24/09/2013 19:16

Lol Cass Grin

faithfulandtruthful · 24/09/2013 19:18

Badly I didn't think your body stored vit C so I would of thought it would be hard to over dose on it. So doesn't make sense to me.

Rock Congrats on the news.

Lumpy Sugar soap and a paint if DH wants to keep them (obv he would be expected to do the work). In the garage or under a tarp in the garden until then (if you you have one that is) in the mean time oust is amazing, it really works. Ciggy smoke is so yuck.

I have been really tearful this afternoon, having worst case scenario thoughts about baby and with hubby away in Germany I have no one to slap me!! So I have had a bit of retail therapy and bought the baby a super cute snowsuit for £5 on gumtree. It has an owl on it, our baby is going to have an owl theme I think (I love owls). We bought some owl mussies in Aldi the other day too.

Lyra, I would seriously consider fellating any shop-keeper who gave me 12 bags of crisps for 99p I've done far more for less than that

I fink the RockOfChick is having a boy...

PiratesMam · 24/09/2013 19:20

Rocky !!!!!!!! Congratulations my lovely! xxxx

PS I REIGN SUPREME

Jolleigh · 24/09/2013 19:21

F&T - cheer up chuck Thanks (I'm doing some spending today while OH is away too)

HotCrossPun · 24/09/2013 19:26

Rock I told you I could see the nub! Grin

Massive Congrats Thanks

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/09/2013 19:27

Brilliant news Rock!! Thanks

Lumpy smokey furniture? Vom. Maybe they can 'accidentally disappear' one day?

F&T you're right! we can't store vit c, we just wee it out. I was given stonking great doses of it once when I had a kidney infection to acidify my wee!

Dinner. Hmm. Sipping on a nesquik milkshake in an attempt to get something in Grin. Gourmet, I know!

My gender scan isn't until 15th October. Someone else has to be before then, surely?!

HotCrossPun · 24/09/2013 19:29

Aw F&T Thanks

These crazy emotional days are a nightmare aren't they? I think we have all had a good blub at some stage or another over the past few months. Have an early night and try and enjoy having the house to yourself. What about junk food and your comfiest pj's? Always cheers me up xx

HotCrossPun · 24/09/2013 19:34

I can't believe we have 48 members on the secret FB group. When did that happen? Grin

faithfulandtruthful · 24/09/2013 19:36

Hot sadly I do not have the house to myself as we live with my mother (we are saving to buy a house, I know mad time to choose to have a baby but its going to take a while to save so... here we are) However I am enjoying the WHOLE bed!! I have consumed 3/4 packet of gluten free choccy biccies and planning an early night.

To all you lovely ladies, I am fine just had my funny five, haven't had one for a while, kinda takes you by surprise.

MummyPig24 · 24/09/2013 19:38

Aww fab news rock!

I think my iron must be low, I'm just so tired the past few days. Then again I haven't been sleeping well. I'm starting to feel stiff and now my bump is growing I feel heavy. This is not a good sign of things to come. I definitely didn't feel like this last time.

PiratesMam · 24/09/2013 19:39

Yes I suppose a nod must go in the direction of Nub Expert hotcross! With your nub skills and my patented Neck Theory, we should go into business.

Rock I am well excited for you. You will have the same as I have now - boy then girl - and I love it. You are allowed to slap anyone who calls them a pigeon pair though - I hate that phrase!

f&t Try not to be blue although I know it's hard when the brain starts racing in a certain direction. All will be ok. x

Starburst Sour Chews (green packet) are amazing for my morning sickness. I can't get enough of them. Literally - they are really hard to find in the shops! Plus I keep asking for Opal Fruits to unknowing young shop assistants.

Shit, can't believe I missed Midwives. Was it a good one, is it worth watching on Catch Up?

Prambo · 24/09/2013 19:41

Laughing my head off at Wonder's almost absurdly succinct post: 'fish pie'.

I'm not relating to this pregnancy crying business. I would take the chest of drawers into the garden with an axe and then set it on fire. I would have run the geese over. I hate wildfowl.

Prambo · 24/09/2013 19:42

Congratulations, Rocky!!! Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/09/2013 19:42

Pirates I need them now!! DH has just gone to work though Sad

Midwives was amazing. But a bit scary. I cried my eyes out. I'm such a soft touch of late!

Glad you're ok F&T

faithfulandtruthful · 24/09/2013 19:44

Pram you crack me up. Maybe you should get a job as a mediator/negotiator, I'm sure you'd be ace at it!! Maybe NATO need someone.

OwlinaTree · 24/09/2013 19:45

Hi, I'm catching up and posting as I go so apologies if stuff's been said.

I managed a small amount of sample for midwife. She says I need to drink more as protien in it. Mind after banana doughnut yesterday I'm surprised my blood sugar wasn't sky high!

hot I would imagine it's your bmi at the start of your pg that is what they look at. My sis had water birth at home and she was massive by the time she delivered, so I'm guessing it's before! All went well too.

Prambo · 24/09/2013 19:47

Fuck the BBC. Whaddaya mean Midwives was on last night? Cocksuckers Angry

Prambo · 24/09/2013 19:48

I'm having last nights braised pork chops with shallots again but with chippy chips Smile

Jolleigh · 24/09/2013 19:49

Will someone come feed me please? I'm being pathetic and can't stand the thought of cooking but want something starchy. Sad
