So sorry to hear that thunder yet again awful news :(

6+2 today and getting impatient lol!

CoffeeGuzzler · 18/09/2013 13:44

Oh I think I am 5 weeks and not 6 as I previously counted. Have completed 5 weeks and today is the first day of the sixth week. That's 5 weeks pregnant right? Why is this confusing me?!

snoozysleeper · 18/09/2013 13:44

Ah thunder I'm sorry to hear your news too Flowers

I got a letter today and finally have my midwife booking in appt but its in October when I'll be 8-9 weeks.... Feels like ages to wait!!

Chip86 · 18/09/2013 13:45

Yay good news thistle have a lovely day with your DH

snoozysleeper · 18/09/2013 13:45

coffee does that make you 5+1?

I find it confusing too

CoffeeGuzzler · 18/09/2013 13:48

Yes Snoozy, I must be 5+1 then.

ThePFJ · 18/09/2013 13:56

thunder I am so sorry ...... big big hugs....
All these mc's are making me paranoid......

I know a great site that counts down each day of your pregnancy and tell you which day and week you are on and how many days you have left.... I look at it everyday.....

www.pregnology.com/faralong.php

It has a more accurate due date calculator on there that takes age and other factors into account.......
I love it.... hope it helps girls xxxxxx

snoozysleeper · 18/09/2013 13:57

Amazing link thepfj thank you!!

ThePFJ · 18/09/2013 13:58

btw if you bookmark the page once you have put in your details, the next day it will have updated on its own... so today I am 6 weeks 2 days pg and I have 236 days to go...... xxxx

ThePFJ · 18/09/2013 14:04

jelly Good Luck with Ofsted... I was a teacher and I know how you feel!

moominleigh94 · 18/09/2013 14:26

Attempting some cold pizza.... Sad

Been to the doctors, receptionist was lovely and didn't look all judgey when I asked about the midwife services :) so got my registration health check next week, and a booking in appointment the week after all being well. Will be 10 weeks at my booking in appt Shock

loopylou52 · 18/09/2013 14:30

My booking appointment is at 9 and a half weeks moomin - I think that's the normal sort of time frame. Hope the cold pizza does the trick!

ThePFJ · 18/09/2013 14:31

My booking appointment is 10 weeks on the dot. Hope the cold pizza works.... rice crispies are the only thing I can eat today it seems......

moominleigh94 · 18/09/2013 14:55

Woo it's stayed down and I don't feel sick Grin I read some articles and they said it was usually about ten weeks, it was more Shock at oh my goodness it all feels so real now :)

Hope everyone's doing well today.

impatientlywaiting · 18/09/2013 17:02

Thunder I am so so sorry. What a sad week on this thread. Take care of yourself. Xx

mumof2aimingfor4 · 18/09/2013 17:20

Thinking of you thunder

ThunderbumsMum · 18/09/2013 18:26

Thankyou all, it's nice to have your good wishes Flowers

Halfbaked · 18/09/2013 18:28

Thanks thunder and covent wishing you luck and stickiness in the future.

I had my booking in today, which took an hour, mostly lots of form filling and hundreds of health questions, trying to remember everything, as baby brain seems to have kicked in!!! I had lots of blood taken, once she got it out!

Anyhow as its DC2 I don't get as many appointments so next time will be 16-18 weeks.
Obviously 12 week scan first, which I cant wait for, feeling nervous, although felt so ill this morning, which was weirdly comforting. Although to those not getting symptoms, I didn't have any with DD until about 7 weeks so don't worry I just think it's different for everyone.
7+3

CoffeeGuzzler · 18/09/2013 18:58

Went to GP. Got in the system. Midwife is meant to call in the next two weeks. Midwife!!! I must really be pregnant then.

NannyPlumForPM · 18/09/2013 19:00

I can also vouch for the no-symptoms thing - didn't have a cramp or an ounce of sickness with DD - this little terrors already got me eating JUST CHEESE!

But it's delicious :)

Thunder, I too am so sorry for your news - it does seem a little bit of a jinxed thread Hmm - saying that 1 in 3 pregnancies end in mc - so if you think of all the ladies on the thread then it is horrible to think that it could technically be every third name receiving awful news :(

Is there less scans for DC #2?? I was hoping to get more because of the condition... that's the bloody NHS for you!

OP posts:
mumof2aimingfor4 · 18/09/2013 19:10

There is only less antenatal care if you have a problem free pregnancy and delivery. Im on DC3 no issues with previous two so will probably only have scans and bloods done!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 18/09/2013 19:12

Oh and pee tests which they insist you try and pee into a pot that you can only just about manage to see when you don't have a baby blocking your view!

moominleigh94 · 18/09/2013 19:18

Just read something that says green top milk is unsafe to drink? But we have ASDA green top milk, and it says it's pasteurised?

lolablu · 18/09/2013 19:26

I think I could read things that would have me living in a bubble for 9 months if I took each bit of advice seriously. Use trusted sources, like the nhs etc. and only those is my advice..

mumof2aimingfor4 · 18/09/2013 19:26

It's un pasteurised milk that we cant have.
