Yay, lumpy! You bought a doppler?

I'm on my own tonight so I can watch what I want [smug]

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 19:56

lyra i am making dp watch birth stuff as some of it is quite useful for him to know rather than him going uhhuh to me telling him stuff, so am just lulling him into a false sense of security. cruel.

we cant take our fancy virgin media set up with us because it isn't available in the area we're moving to, which means i will probably have to put up with his shit tv as i doubt we'll get as good a deal on sky and i am tight with money with that stuff Blush

MummyPig24 · 10/09/2013 19:57

Haha pram why is that? I guess we are busy and kids keep me on my toes. Ds always goes a bit wild when he goes back to school after the holidays then he calms down again. Dh and I really did feel awful hearing him screaming and crying but he needed a short, sharp shock to bring him back down to earth so an early night it was!

Jolleigh · 10/09/2013 19:59

Think so Grey . But it's been a long time since it's been so short so reckon I'm in need of some reassurance lol.

LyraSilvertongue · 10/09/2013 20:02

Ugh, Mel and flippin' Sue Hmm

lumpylumps · 10/09/2013 20:11

Sssh, I've borrowed one from work!!!

apprenticemamma · 10/09/2013 20:18

evening all...not been around much on here, actually had a shock, horror night out with dh and friends on Saturday. Been exhausted too! Catching up now .tv - on the house porn as oh calls it double your house for half your money (as long as u have a spare 100k) ...work - shattered, compressed hours then housework ds meal /bed our meal and any other stuff needing sorted then pass out at ten. My sex drive is back but I'm genuinely knackered by ten. I have no idea mummy and others how u manage to function with two plus kids and work (and have time for sexual deviance Wink !)and admit to slight panic re our routine come Jan 15 when I'm back @work . And I salute whoever made lamb & Mac cheese on a school night! We are on rotisserie chicken .

Beccadugs · 10/09/2013 20:21

Grey we got a better deal with sky! They beat our virgin deal, so always worth a try!

IceNoSlice · 10/09/2013 20:22

I really want to eat pie. Especially that caramel apple pie.

Oh and - I bloody loves Mel and Sue. So there.

PainAuxRaisins · 10/09/2013 20:23

Bakeoff on the box, spag bol on the go and kids fast asleep. Pity about the debilitating fatigue but I guess you can't have it all eh? 36 hours til my 12 week scan - yay! Can someone tell me a bit more about this Natal Hypnotherapy?? Is it the same as Hypnobirthing? I quite fancy doing a bit of this (even though it's not going to make our foofs any bigger/stretchier as Pram has already pointed out)

LyraSilvertongue · 10/09/2013 20:32

The technical challenge on bake-off is hilarious! Grin

Apprentice, that was me. I always cook a proper meal from scratch in the evenings but then I don't work.

BlushShock at sexual deviance!

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 20:33

ooh becca might give it a go then, thanks! one of dps friends works there and got it for us though and we have a bunch of the 'extras' thrown in, i wonder if we said what deal we got with virgin whether they'd try and match it or something, then again i suppose they'd know virgin wasn't available in the area so foil my plan! they do sky sports a lot cheaper obviously which is an essential as we support rival football teams!

pain how far are you? i admire your patience!

Jolleigh · 10/09/2013 20:34

Stop talking bake off! My Tivo and Internet man isn't coming until morning! Sad

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 20:35

also i think that was lyra on the home cooked spag bol! i bet when her lover comes back it'll be all crispy pancakes cause she'll be too busy Wink

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 20:41

oh forgive me it was prammo with the spag bol

LyraSilvertongue · 10/09/2013 20:41

Get it right, Grey. Pram made spag bol (stupid iPhone tried to correct that to slag bol Grin) I did mac cheese and lamb! Tsk!

Joll, can't you watch it on the computer? Should be up on iPlayer fairly quickly.

LyraSilvertongue · 10/09/2013 20:41

Damn, x-post.

LyraSilvertongue · 10/09/2013 20:43

And you may be right about when DP comes back Wink I'll get him to cook for me wearing nowt but an apron...

PainAuxRaisins · 10/09/2013 20:46

I think I'm about 11+5 so the scan should be bang on 12wks if my dates are right (ready to be corrected by mw on Thurs tho). It's not patience - I have 2 kids already and work FT so had no time to squeeze in a scan at 8 wks. Sorry to mention the bakeoff again but they're making yummy things from filo pastry now and I fear my spag bol is going to disappoint.

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 20:48

discuss.

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 20:52

lyra I know how date I mix up the dinners! Wink

Jolleigh · 10/09/2013 20:57

Lyra - I don't have phone, Internet or Tivo until morning other than what I can get through my phone. A full show on iplayer might be too much for my phone Sad

IceNoSlice · 10/09/2013 21:02

Greymoose WTAF?!?!

rescoonetwothree · 10/09/2013 21:10

ice I know, it's so weird. I'm not sure if its some sort of pregnancy voodoo but it makes me feel kind of spaced out if I watch it hahaha!

LyraSilvertongue · 10/09/2013 21:11

Jesus, Grey, where did you find that? Shock I knew it had to be Scandinavian...
