Thanks for the good wishes, it's not PE but they decided to run bloods to exclude menengitis. Sure I'm fine, though :)

Carole803 · 08/09/2013 23:54

Daley, I hope you are feeling a little better. You should get you checked out.

Clare8allthepies, we have bought everything second hand or found stuff on freecycle. My best friend has helped by giving us a treasure trove of useful stuff, but we are going to buy some stuff new, like a mattress for the cot and moses basket, so if kiddicare have that deal on, i might wonder over there this week! Thanks for the heads up.

DaleyBump · 09/09/2013 02:57

Thanks Carole :) everything is fine, back home now :) to those who I said I would add into the Facebook group when I got home - I'll do it in the morning, absolutely shattered. Sorry!

CryingGivesMeAHeadache · 09/09/2013 08:12

glad everything is okay Daley. hope you're getting lots of sleep.

I have woken up with no voice. DP is loving it haha. I don't feel very well at all though Sad

itsliz · 09/09/2013 08:12

So glad to hear that everything's ok Daley! Hope you managed to get a good night's sleep after all that!

I spent the whole of yesterday feeling really ill, thought I might be ok after a decent sleep but I still feel rubbish this morning Sad
I feel really sick although I seem to be keeping food down ok, I keep having to rush to the loo (sorry, TMI!) and I just don't seem to have any energy. Bump seems fine though and his kicks are getting stronger by the day so I can only assume that it's just a bug and nothing pregnancy related... Or should I be worrying?! Confused

Either way, I think I might snuggle back under the duvet now and spend the day feeling sorry for myself!

MildredH · 09/09/2013 09:36

Glad all well Daley.. Hope you manage a lie in this morning.. X

hetsto · 09/09/2013 10:43

Good morning all! I can't keep up 'round here anymore - things move so quickly! Nice weekends? Mine was a bit of a whirlwind of family visiting - both mine and DP?s over the course of the weekend, but was lovely all the same.

It really feels like autumn has arrived today in London and I have to say, I?m quite happy about it! I haven?t really changed what I?m wearing to work, but I?m so much more comfortable. Phew! Roll on chilly days and big baggy cardigans! smile The change in temperature and the anti-sickness meds are really sorting me out now too; I haven?t been sick since Friday and have been feeling much better generally. Thanks so much for all the kind words late last week. :)

I felt some really huge movements from my girls this weekend, they weren?t really painful but did stop me in my tracks a bit ? I?m hoping they haven?t both flipped over as they were nicely head-down before?

Is anyone else tracking measurements and weight gain? I am, and I'm trying to take weekly photos, although I keep forgetting! It's amazing to see the changes over the last few weeks - I've gained 14kg now in total and they're telling me the girls need to get bigger quicker! Terrfying! If I wasn't all bump I'd be seriously worried.

Roselau · 09/09/2013 12:43

Hello ladies! hope everyone had a good weekend. DH and I had our last London date on Saturday - leisurely lunch at Oblix in the Shard. amazing, I highly recommend it if you live in London. Then Sunday was sorting through everything because it's moving day today. DH is at home dealing with the movers, and when I get back today, it's to an empty flat in which I will basically be camping for the next 4 weeks.

Weighed myself this morning and am at +10lbs (but I'm not expecting twins like you hesto), and since the scale is gone, it will be very interesting to see the difference with next time I weigh myself in about 10 weeks when our stuff has made it to the other side of the pond.

on the bright side: only 20 business days until I fly out yippee!

uh oh. writing this as I'm eating lunch that I grabbed from our building (just grabbed a few salads) and I wasn't really paying attention, but now I'm pretty sure one of those salads had blue cheese in it..... only realised as I put the last bite in my mouth. I really hope it was OK!

BunInMyOven93 · 09/09/2013 12:47

Hi ladies. 28Weeks today. Is this third trimester!?x

DaleyBump · 09/09/2013 14:36

Cheers everyone! Was having a great lie in this morning until the wee man decided that I'd had enough sleep and started kickboxing my ribs. This pregnancy lark better be worth it Wink

Well Rose, hope you enjoy camping! I'm sure you'll be fine with the blue cheese, it's recommended that you avoid it because there is a slightly elevated risk but as long as you didn't eat tons of it I'm sure you'll be okay.

hetsto, I was weighing myself but I can't be arsed any more. I know I've put on two and a half stone but it's not gone anywhere other than my belly. I was a 14 to start with so not small, though. I had lost tons of weight before I fell pregnant (I was a size 20-22) so I'm not worried - I'll just lose it when the baby comes :)

Sounds like a bug itsliz, hope you're feeling better Flowers

DaleyBump · 09/09/2013 14:38

Also bun, yeah that's you :) 3rd trimester is between 27-28 weeks. I was [shocked] when I hit 28 weeks, we're on the home stretch!

DaleyBump · 09/09/2013 14:38

or *Shock even Grin

Stom91 · 09/09/2013 14:42

glad you're feeling better daley

hope you feel better soon itsliz

roselau ooh 20 business days! not long! i hope it all goes well!

anyone watch corrie? daytime tv sucks.. i wish carl would get caught soon!! its annoying me!! lol

froubylou · 09/09/2013 15:06

God you lot have been busy!

Had a lovely weekend at our last pony show of the year.

Looking forward to some chill out time at weekends to be honest before the baby comes along. Just washing all the gear to get it put away.

Baby also wakes me up early lol. And when he's woke up and I've stroked my tummy to shush him up I get a bh. So that gets me up and out of bed.

Can't seem to get rid of being hungry at the minute. Or thinking about food lol.

Stom91 · 09/09/2013 15:10

quiet weekends are lovely!
enjoy them frouby

ive really gone off food. i dont fancy or want to eat anything.
i know its really bad. i im trying to force myself to eat for baby sake.
even though mw said im the right size etc for my weeks im still conviced that baby is too small, and keep worrying myself.

all day ive managed 2 yoghuts. i am hungry i just dont want to eat.

hetsto · 09/09/2013 15:35

Hello again!

Aww, that sounds like a lovely way to spend the last London date Roselau! I?ve been wanted to go to Oblix for a little while; I work near London Bridge so it would be v easy, but we just haven?t managed to get there yet. I hear The Shard is open for Open House Weekend later this month too, so could go then as well. Anyone who?s in London (or not, actually!) ? I?d really recommend Open House Weekend (www.openhouselondon.org.uk/); I?m planning a slightly more relaxed itinerary this year, but in the past we?ve bombed around loads of London landmarks in that weekend!

I wouldn?t worry too much about a little bit of blue cheese Roselau, I?m sure a tiny bit won?t hurt.

Glad to hear the final pony show was good Froubylou! My two wake up early as well, and they seem to have no concept of weekend lie-ins so they?re up with the lark on Sundays too! Tsktsk.

I can?t stop eating either, now I?ve stopped being sick I?m stuffing my face like there?s no tomorrow, it is mainly healthy stuff and small quantities at a time, but still!

I?ve just put some new photos up (taken trying on maternity clothes in New Look at lunch time!) if anyone fancies a nose?

BunInMyOven93 · 09/09/2013 15:35

Woohoo!!!! we're almost there! lol

Stom91 · 09/09/2013 15:42

hetso i love your bump! its so cute!

Stom91 · 09/09/2013 15:43

it its absolutley pouring it down here in sussex! it was all blue skies and all of a sudden bam! so glad im inside!

hetsto · 09/09/2013 16:56

Aww, thanks Stom! I'm not sure I'd call it cute any more; it's pretty huge, but lovely to hear anyway. :)

It's been pouring all day here too, I think summer is definitely over! Good for the plants though!

Roselau · 09/09/2013 17:41

hesto cute bump!! if you've gained 14kg I really wonder where you put them ;) you should give oblix a try, but we had to make resos 6 weeks ahead of time and couldn't get an evening. so plan ahead.

I should really try and figure out how to put up pics.

bah i'm only 25+2 today. not 3rd trimester quite yet.

right, off to yoga. didn't sleep last night because of the anxiety and everything happening at the moment, so although i'm exhausted i think it'll be good for me.

Yeah, I don't think there was huge quantities of blue cheese, and I'm not yet puking so I think I'm safe - thanks for reassuring me

yay for quiet weekends frouby they are the best.

abcdemma · 09/09/2013 18:42

3rd trimester in 2 days then :)
Just found the travel system I wanted (Cosatto Giggle) and read about ten reviews of them falling apart :(

Carole803 · 09/09/2013 20:11

abcdemma, we went for uppa baby vista, second hand from ebay without car seat. Looking forward to using it.

hesto, you have the lovliest bump.

Chilli81 · 09/09/2013 20:56

I'm 27 weeks now and I reckon I'm going to count myself as 3rd trimester. feel like I need at least psychologically to feel like I'm on the home stretch.
rose very jealous of your romantic lunch at the shard. Will def try to make it for open house.
we are off to Paris next week for our 10 year anniversary without ds1. am so excited! Will be first time we've left him for more than a night but have to make the most of it before December.

MsCatShoes · 09/09/2013 21:26

All this talk of food, it seems that all I have done is eat eat eat.

My mostly-boy y11 group saw my bump move today - they were so freaked out in a hilarious way. "Don't think your baby likes Shakespeare Miss."
