I imagine my boobs are going to be an absolute disaster after this pregnancy. Trying not to be too precious about it!

LyraSilvertongue · 04/09/2013 18:44

I once had to milk myself like a cow at work because my boobs were so full and hard they were really uncomfortable. I took a breast pump to work with me after that.

lumpylumps · 04/09/2013 19:12

Doppler question, if the placenta is across the front do you hear the heartbeat?? I tried again last night and aside from my own whooshing arteries either side, there seemed to be whooshing across the middle too. Could that be the placenta??

jolliegh hope things are ok.

Engorged boobs more painful than birth!!!!

rosyryan · 04/09/2013 19:28

I used to have such fabulous boobs

IceNoSlice · 04/09/2013 19:30

MTB we're off to Centreparcs in November too. For a midweek break. Never been before - hope it's good! We're off to Longleat.

Jolleigh · 04/09/2013 19:42

Just checking in. The bleeding has slowed right down and I think it's stopping. Have developed some really light cramping on the right hand side rather than all over. Not even painful enough to take a paracetamol. I'm going to let myself drown in TV for the night then hopefully manage to keep busy until scan o'clock tomorrow.

LyraSilvertongue · 04/09/2013 20:09

That sounds more positive, Jolls Smile Good that you haven't got long to go till your scan. Best of luck for tomorrow.

Is anyone else watching Celebrity Masterchef?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 04/09/2013 20:13

Great news Jolls. Maybe a nice warm bath to relax?

Lyra I'm all over it. I love masterchef. And GBBO. In fact, all cooking programs.

Rockchick1984 · 04/09/2013 20:19

Brilliant news Jolls! What time is scan o'clock?

Jolleigh · 04/09/2013 20:22

Scan o'clock is 3:20. Fingers crossed.

apprenticemamma · 04/09/2013 20:25

Just tuning in after a looooooooong day. I can't wait to have ten months off from the backbiting and politics though I will miss the work and ...some colleagues Wink

apprenticemamma · 04/09/2013 20:30

Laughing at everyone's boob stories...been there...never milked into a river whoever did that...Grin but did have wedding leakage...it was such a palaver to express, was tipsy and spilt expressed milk every where..a total Mr bean breastfeeds moment Shock Shock Shock We got ds test back today as low risk promptly blubbed and treated self to glass of pinot grigio (..now feeling totes tipsy) Shock oops

apprenticemamma · 04/09/2013 20:32

what are y'all watching on tv? I'm watching posh history bird on bbc4 on mistresses of the 1660s.

IceNoSlice · 04/09/2013 20:41

OMG, I'm a delight to be around tonight. Cannot stop trumping. It started in the car on the way home from work and hasn't really stopped.

Good news Joll Smile

LyraSilvertongue · 04/09/2013 20:44

Maybe, I can't believe Les is still in it. I can't forgive him for the disastrous custard and bread and butter pudding.

Apprentice, good news. I'm having a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc as it's my birthday. I wanted Prosecco but I couldn't justify opening as bottle just for one glass and DP isn't here to finish the rest.

commsgirl · 04/09/2013 21:02

Good news Jol

apprenticemamma · 04/09/2013 21:11

happy birthday Lyra. Enjoy! This was my first glass in two months, developed a wine aversion until now.. prob not a bad thing. I do normally like my wine...was worried I'd never drink wine again as it tasted so rank Shock

NoMaybeAboutIt · 04/09/2013 21:12

Ooh, sounds amazing Lyra! Very much deserved!!

I don't k know how he stayed, but he has pulled it out the bag since!!!

MrM has returned from the shops with new pjs for me. One of which, wait for it, is a monsters inc onesie. Yes people, you heard me right Grin I am so comfy it's untrue. Apart from a bloody achey back. It's making me feel like I need a poo. Is this normal?!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 04/09/2013 21:14

Apprentice Im so sorry, I missed your news!! What a relief!! And enjoy that wine

How are the pox?

LyraSilvertongue · 04/09/2013 21:16

A Monsters Inc onesie?! Nooooooo! Shock

I can't believe that red-faced idiot is in the final three. Glad Janet is though. I'm growing to like her. And Ade is just lovely.

LyraSilvertongue · 04/09/2013 21:17

Apprentice, I'm sipping mine very slowly. It's tasting quite sour. Hope you're enjoying yours.

LyraSilvertongue · 04/09/2013 21:25

Thinking about spending some of my birthday money on this dress. Opinions?
