Hi girls thought as that thread it quite full we could start a new one here.
Hope you don't mind pink.
How you girls all feeling today? I swear I keep forgetting I'm pregnant when symptoms disappear randomly. But I'm at such early stages, one of the babies of the bunch at just 5+2

OP posts:

Glad your scan went well Ness!

lee (10+3)

catameringue · 03/09/2013 09:58

Thanks for everyone's help yesterday. The pills stopped the sickness during the night, as soon as I woke this morning the feeling awful came rushing back so I've taken more pills. Finally managed some milk and allbran this morning. I hope it stays down.

crazycranberry · 03/09/2013 12:00

Morning everyone.
Hope you're all doing ok - boobs not too sore, nausea not too bad etc. just wanted to get your thoughts.............
I have been told my 12weeks scan might not be at 12 weeks as the hospital are so very busy. This means I might be waiting 5weeks for my scan. I am not the most patient person in the world - and I am a complete worry wart!!
I have decided that I will go ever so slightly mad if I don't know this pregnancy is going ok for another 5weeks so I have booked in for a private ultrasound instead.
It's called a Fetal viability scan for those btwn 6-10weeks. I am just 8weeks so I now have my fingers crossed it will be good news tomorrow morning.
Has anyone else had a scan before 12 weeks because you just couldn't wait?

patsy375 · 03/09/2013 12:20

Im having a scan today at 9+2.
When i made an appointment to see midwife for booking in I was told she couldn't see me til I was 11+4 which potentially means I might not get a scan til 14/15 weeks!
Don't want to wait til then so have called in a favour with an NHS colleague and got on the end of his scan list today.
There are very few perks to working for the NHS so thought I would make the most of the few there are.

prettyinpink90 · 03/09/2013 13:13

Afternoon ladies!

cata sorry to hear you're still feeling rubbish. try and get in to see your GP if it doesn't get any better.

ness great news about your scan yesterday, it must have been amazing!

crazy I've booked a private early scan for the 15th by which time I'll be around 8 weeks. I could wait till 12+ weeks, I need to see that there's something there. When is yours?

patsy good luck for your scan today!

crazycranberry · 03/09/2013 13:23

nessalina thats great news! Good that you were reassured and that the ickle baby is doing ok. Smile

prettyinpink I have managed to get a scan for tomorrow morning 8am! Can't wait. It's £95 - which is worth it if I can see all is ok.

patsy good luck with your scan today. Can't wait to hear about it!

EverthingcrossedforApril14 · 03/09/2013 14:33

ChocChaffinch · 03/09/2013 17:27

starting the rigmarole of trying to get a repeat via my gp of ondansetron which only a consultant can prescribe. GRRRRRRRRRR

9 + 5 and super duper exhausted.

wondering what can give 5yo for tea that is minimum cooking........

cookielove · 03/09/2013 19:53

Hello all, choc I'm so cross on your behalf. I don't get why dr's are so crap!

At my scan I'll be 12+5 Shock would have loved an earlier scan but hey if the money is not there what ya gonna do?

Bodeccia · 03/09/2013 20:35

Hi cat, hope you feel better soon. Sounds like you have that cronic sickness that some women get (didn't Kate Middleton have that?) My colleague told me she had it too with her dc2. Really feel for you, I hope it passes soon.

My news is that I had my early scan today, and we're having twins. Still digesting the news. I thought we would get away with not needing to get much for dc2, yeah, reality check! Everything is fine, both heartbeats are good and strong, so need to stop being so terrified. Sigh.

Xavielli · 03/09/2013 20:44

Omg! Twins! How lovely, huge congratulations Smile

Fairypants · 03/09/2013 20:52

Wow!!! That's fab and a bit of a shock a guess!! Are there twins in your family?

Trinpy · 03/09/2013 21:08

ooh twins, how exciting! Glad they're both healthy and well.

Vikkijayne2507 · 03/09/2013 21:56

prettyinpink90 · 04/09/2013 07:15

Congrats bodeccia how exciting for you! Glad they are both doing well!

patsy375 · 04/09/2013 09:23

Wow Boddecia what a shock for you both!! How has your husband taken the news?

I had my scan yesterday. Happy to report all is well. One baby in the right place with a lovely strong heartbeat Smile

patsy375 · 04/09/2013 09:30

Oh and scan dates match mine so 9+3 today.

prettyinpink90 · 04/09/2013 09:49

Glad your scan went well yesterday patsy my private early scan isn't until the 15th and I'm starting to get impatient now.
I know I'm lucky not to have experienced any nausea/sickness yet especially when some of you ladies are having a really awful time but is there anyone else who hasn't had anything yet? I've felt a tad sicky on the add occasio. but it only lasts for a short time and usually goes once I've ate something.

Vikkijayne2507 · 04/09/2013 11:51

pretty in pink I hadnt been ill until yesterday when I felt really ill and then was very physically ill in the night and felt rough all night. Ate breakfast fine today tho but I do still feel a bit dodgy. Working from home today thankfully so taking it easy not as productive as I should be but i havent been like this b4.

9 + 2

bunnygoesbang · 04/09/2013 13:36

Oh chic please don't tell me that. It's my first day and I feel like i have found a wonder drug. I've eaten and not been sick once.
The pharmacist said that my gp would prescribe more if I needed it.
Along with the lecture of you only need totals this if you are sick

ChocChaffinch · 04/09/2013 13:43

ondansatron working well for me, so far fingers crossed. Just hope I can get a repeat..

9+6 and trying to eat as much as can while drugs working, literally so excited to get fat!

ChocChaffinch · 04/09/2013 13:45

and how annoying is this, told one of the mums from school that Im pg as my dc play with hers a lot, and wanted her to understand my position... then this morn she yells across playground 'are you feeling ok?' cue another V Nosy mum snaps her head round - and asks 'are you feeling ok?' in pointed querying nosy manner. I just shrugged and said I'd been ill.
bloody indiscreet cow

PainAuxRaisins · 04/09/2013 14:51

Bodeccia - twins - wow!!

catameringue · 04/09/2013 15:23

Had my scan, there is a singular bean in there with a heart beat. I've got a photo of it too, can barely see it!

I now have two edds, one of 24/04 based on date of af, and the other 27/04 based on size.
