Just Shagging Grads, here is your shiny new Fred!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The last thread saw plenty of births and we've got loads of new Grads to add to the mix. Bring on the TMI posts, the midnight moans, the birthwatches and the pom poms!

Our stats thread is here, so if you find us, please add your stats too.

There is also a Just Mumming thread for grads of the grads thread

And if you want to find out what Just Shagging is about or catch up with the undergrads go say hello to the Just Shaggers here, now on the 17th thread.

Perhaps she's been monitoring your wee activities too Wink

wilhelminand · 21/05/2014 22:01

Maybe you have a nice stomach and she's a bit jealous?
Ha Rpopz! It's fine, I did it earlier with Fifi. I won't do you for plagiarism.

fifi669 · 21/05/2014 22:29

wil I didn't wait for them to offer a c section I told the midwife straight off I WAS having a section

DulcetMoans · 22/05/2014 07:33

Haha. I think ill take wils explanation! She was checking me out! Wink

Waiting for the train to London, should have got one if those special 'baby in board' stickers, might have given the game away though!

wilhelminand · 22/05/2014 07:54

Hope you manage to get a seat Dulcet.

I may try that tactic then Fifi!

I'm far too early to work this morning, could have had longer in bed.

DulcetMoans · 22/05/2014 08:35

Surprisingly I did! This is one if the main commuter trains so expected to be on the floor next to the loo but I have a seat!

Rude lady just sprayed aerosol though... Hmm That makes me mad!

You waking up early then wils? Think we have all had that!

Nessalina · 22/05/2014 08:57

Morning all! Considering I'm on a narrow boat with the worlds thinnest curtains and a cockerel crowing outside the window, I'm in awe that I slept this late! Grin

Sounds awesome fifi Grin I'd like to stop early, but then I'd like mat leave to go on as long as possible... How do i get both?! I'm planning to take a bit of holiday before, so I'll finish about five weeks before due date Smile

I know it's next to impossible not to worry about cramps Rpopz, but they really are very normal. I've had some crippling tummy pains that sent me into a spin, but when you think of all the growing and stretching going on inside, it's really not that surprising! Smile

I'm preparing myself for some nuclear arguments with DH over names... Confused He wants classic strong boys name, and actually so do I, but I'd love to find something a bit unusual!

Minion · 22/05/2014 09:47

Morning grads,
Kust showing my face for ten as I'm busy packing up the flat and have another driving lesson in 15 mins... It's peeing down, I can see this being 'interesting'.
I'm cream crackered, this house moving lark is hard work man, tried to tackle the front garden last night, the owner liked the 'wild garden' look and boy did he let it go wild. Well I was pooped after 15, seriously think I'm gonna have to get someone in to tackle it. He's also done the worst DIY we've ever seen, screws, nails everywhere, when we've come to take them out the wall, it's left huge gouges in the plaster.
Grrrr and now he's told us the pear tree has fungus. Yeah cheers for not mentioning that earlier.
And he left it in a state.
Why people don't clean before moving is beyond me.
Well, enough moaning from minion, I'm off to dodge pedestrians.
I get wifi tonight in the new house so I should be a bit more regular... Ish

wilhelminand · 22/05/2014 15:07

Bleurgh I feel sick. And yes to the waking up early. Although managed to get back to sleep this morning thank goodness.

Min that sounds awful. We moved into a place that needed virtually nothing doing. I couldn't cope with all that! Will be great when you have it all done though.

Nessa we are the same over names. I won't even discuss it until about 8m I think because we had such trouble last time!

Minion · 22/05/2014 15:36

Oooh name chats, I've had mine sorted since we started trying so I hope that when the rugrat arrives it will suit it,
Any faves yet? I promise I won't steal them.

Another non pg day for me, I'm hoping it really had settled down now, I have my scan in exactly two weeks and I'm now bricking it as this is when a mmc will show up.
So nervous.

RPopz · 22/05/2014 17:36

I like a tonne of girls names but NO boy names whatsoever so... guess what I'm hoping for!

Feeling pretty sick today and there is literally nothing I want to eat. Yak.

Eurgh Min I feel your pain. We called our house the Half A Job House when we moved in because apparently that's all the previous owners did! We're still working on it 2 years later... Angry Definitely get a gardener in!!

wilhelminand · 22/05/2014 19:07

I prefer girls' names too and the boys names I do like, MrWil would never agree to. He has such boring tastes.

Are you getting an early scan Min or has it been that long already?!

Had a bloody crap day and it's not looking like it's getting any better! Cannot wait until bedtime.

Minion · 22/05/2014 20:15

No I'll be 12 weeks then, is gone so fast hasn't it!
I couldn't face an early one, I'm too fearful of the law of sod.
I'm not confident tho.

JuniDD · 22/05/2014 20:53

evening. Sorry you're not feeling confident minion, keep going! (I don't tend to say "it'll all be ok" because I find it massively annoying personally but I'm sure you'll be fine).

I am SO TIRED today. Our bloody cats keep waking us up. I want a full night's sleep, please!

wilhelminand · 22/05/2014 20:53

I can't believe that'll be 12 weeks! Amazing. I wouldn't do an early scan either, don't really see the point as anything could happen after the scan and then you'd be falsely confident.

It is a really nerve-wracking time, fx all will go well.

Someone asked me today if I was pg and I obv lied and said no. I think they were joking but I hate lying!

RPopz · 22/05/2014 21:14

Why are you not confident Min? Have you had an mmc before? x

Minion · 22/05/2014 21:58

No popz that's what really annoying, I have absolutely no reason to feel like this.
Id not even heard of it before I got upduffed so why it's playing on my mind is anyones guess.
I should be more confident considering my nips have gone dead dark these last 48 hours and my little not quite a bump, bump is moving higher and higher.

The interweb is a horrible place sometimes.

Messing with our melons.

fifi669 · 22/05/2014 22:46

Our baby is a boy, he'll be Thomas Jago. Jago is the Cornish form of James. We liked a mix of traditional and a bit quirky. We had the added drama of finding a name that fits with both mine and DPs surnames as we plan to have mine until we're married not in the pipeline yet, get a move on DP! and his after. His surname is long and foreign so we couldn't go too out there with names anyway.

As it is DS will be the namesake of a certain welsh singer until we wed..... I do know a man with the forenames Elton John so I don't feel too bad :)

Nessalina · 22/05/2014 23:33

Sucks that you're feeling paranoid Min, but I so know how you feel. I was convinced that it'd all go wrong at the scan! MMCs are pretty uncommon and if you're having all the good symptom stuff then it's looking good, right?
I'm feeling very odd, sort of in limbo in that I feel like we should be able to relax now, but I still can't quite Confused
Nice name fifi! I'm with you Rpopz, I have a million girls names and only about 4 boys names that I like!

wilhelminand · 23/05/2014 06:21

That's lovely Fifi, Jago is so cool.

So I woke up at 3, 4, 5 and 6 this morning. Have given up trying to get back to sleep now. Grr.

RPopz · 23/05/2014 08:03

I do love Thomas. But DH's best friend had a baby recently and guess what it's called.... so not sure about that one anymore for us.

Jago is fantastic, love it. I'd love unusual names but our surname is long and ridiculous so would be a bit cruel on the sprog!!

Stay positive Min ... I never knew about mmcs til I read about them on here! Avoid Google at all costs I say ;-)

wilhelminand · 23/05/2014 08:21

Haha quite want to know your surname now Rpopz!

RPopz · 23/05/2014 10:51

Haha its probably not that bad Wil, I'm just a little bitter about it since I much prefer my maiden name ;-)

DulcetMoans · 23/05/2014 11:36

Sorry you are feeling negative min but like the others said, it's really rare. Hopefully you'll feel better in a couple weeks after the scan. I'm sure we all think about it though, I know I do! Had a dream about it weds night.

Name talk! Yay! We haven't discussed it out loud since pregnant but we had some rough chats when TTC. All that means is I know a bunch of names we can't use! I also find boys names harder though, don't really have any on the maybe list...

I am worn out! Completely over did it yesterday and up until 5am with elections. Need my bed! In positive news, baby is the size blueberry or grape depending on the source.

wilhelminand · 23/05/2014 11:47

Min you being at 10 weeks already has given me faith that time isn't going to drag through the first trimester. The midwives are still ignoring me which is very annoying.

Rpopz I hate that MiniWil has Mr Wil's surname and not mine. FFS I did pretty much all the work and in fact still do pretty much all the work!

How many weeks are you Dulcet?
