Hi all! Providing the ladies who are currently in hospital don't give birth before the last 20 posts in our old thread, we've made it to a new one with babies all still staying put for now!

Here's the stats thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/a1694946-September-2013-STATS-THREAD

Welcome newbies! If anyone wants to join the FB group (better for sharing documents and pictures), please message myself or jennimoo with your real life name and email address and we can add you to the group!

5am and I'm wide awake, not even sure why I'm up but finding it tricky to stay asleep. After reading Jenimoos update all I can think about is all the lovely ladies who are in the final stages ... about to meet their tiny new babies. I'm part envious and part terrified.

Fantastic news from Derpess too! Double congratulations going out to you. Such lively names too! I hope u get your new family back together again really soon. X

Good night/good morning ladies, bumps and babies!

kimjayne · 17/08/2013 05:10

I think I have woken up early in excitement about our antenatal classes this weekend Confused

We finished painting the nursery yesterday, now just being uber frustrated that the new carpet won't be fitted fir over a week! So desperate to put the furniture back in and unpack the boxes and bags of baby things stashed all over the house!! And really? 4 weeks to make a blind - gah!

29 days to go 35+6 eek!!!

jennimoo · 17/08/2013 09:56

Thanks for messages. Things have slowed a bit not helped bunny mums impatience to come over, my tiredness and general wanting to get to the hospital stage so I know DD is sorted...

jennimoo · 17/08/2013 09:56

Bunny?! By my...

badguider · 17/08/2013 10:04

So exciting. Well done everybody. Four lovely babies in our first day of arrivals :)

I've updated the stats thread (link in the top post of this thread) by moving people from their EDD to a new list of 'BORN' dates. Feel free for everybody to chip in on this if you get a chance on a computer rather than a phone as more news comes in.

Readytosettle · 17/08/2013 10:18

Feeling a bit guilty about lying in bed watching Netflix whilst DH paints the kitchen...I did what cutting in I could manage but it really is next to impossible trying to lean across the counter with the bump!

flipflump · 17/08/2013 10:20

Congratulations Derpess!!!!! Wonderful news and beautiful names. I hope Luke is back with you now and enjoying mummy snuggles.

4 babies in a day - keep up the good work ladies.

RakeABedOfTyneFilth · 17/08/2013 10:54

Congratulations Derpess! Hope Luke is back now, and all is well.

We had a crap night's sleep here. DS woke up with bad dreams at some early hour, DH went to snuggle in with him to settle him but it didn't work. I was awake by this time anywaay so let DS come in our bed, but he land-grabbed as 4yearolds do... I am an immovable lump once I get into a comfortable position now, so it was DH who got pushed out. I thought he would just go and takeover DS's bed but he went downstairs and cleaned the kitchen, put on the dishwasher and breadmaker, and then came back to bed at 7 when DS was waking. I didn't get good solid sleep for the second half of the night and I have a sore throat/chest making it difficult to breathe deeply. Whinge whine moan complain.

I have so much to do today... House and garden tidying really. It's not nesting, it's just getting back to where I should have been before I got lazy...!

Dilating vibes to Jennimoo! And anyone else with rumblings (they don't do inductions at weekends do they? So it's spontaneous births only for the next couple of days?)

Manoodledo · 17/08/2013 12:38

Massive congrats to weeble and derpess!

At the moment by the time I get to the end of the day baby feels so low the pressure 'down there' is unlpleasant but by the time I get up the next day it seems to have bobbed back up again. Grr! DH and I went on a 'date' last night, last chance for a while I'd think. Was lovely apart from thinking at one point while scoffing sushi that I was about to go into labour I had such strong pains. Would have been embarassing. Can't believe my actual due date is still more than 2 weeks away...

Joskar · 17/08/2013 14:05

Congratulations Derpess! Wonderful news. Can't wait to see your pics.

Hang in there jennimoo. Uncrossing everything for you!

weebarra · 17/08/2013 16:59

Congratulations Derpess, hope you are getting newborn snuggles from your babies!

flipflump · 17/08/2013 17:30

Anyone else worrying about their waters breaking in public? We had a lovely day out today in a very touristy town. I've had cramps on and off for a couple of days and couldn't help but think how dreadful it would be if they went in front of an audience. Due date really feels like its looming now.

Hope you have a better night rake, must have been lovely getting up to a clean kitchen and fresh bread. Think DH is nesting on my behalf. He's made jam and cleaned the oven, he's a good'un.

andadietcoke · 17/08/2013 17:42

Heehee flipflump I asked DH if he was nesting on my behalf earlier! He was complaining about the 'nursery' not being ready and insisted on pulling out all my clothes from the wardrobes and emptying all my storage boxes in our bedroom.

Yes, terrified of waters breaking in public. But I would quite like it if they did break because then I know I can ring triage. Because I'm having an ELCS they've been a bit vague about when to go in if I go into spontaneous labour so waters breaking would be a nice indicator.

jennimoo · 17/08/2013 17:48

Waters breaking is such a simple call to make (although they didn't believe me last time...) I'm bouncing around in the hope mine will go soon...
