One needs fortification Keep!! And no washing up!! Glad the house is coming along, you'll be straight in no time.

Normally I don't feel sick at bedtime. But tonight I do. In bed nibbling on a gingernut with the dog sleeping on my legs. He makes everything better Smile

What's everyone got planned for the bank holiday?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 25/08/2013 23:28

Finally in bed and half way through a nice manicure :)
Hope you're over the trauma of being Mann handled so much Sweetie, I hated it, I feel your pain.

Maybe we're off to Devon :) can't wait. We have the builders coming in while we're away to sort the new kitchen door for us too, so I won't have to deal with the dust and disruption :):)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/08/2013 23:42

Sounds perfect Boo. Whereabouts in Devon?

Is MrBoo doing your manicure?!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 25/08/2013 23:49

Going near Paignton in a caravan :) don't be silly, Mr B is off saying his goodbye's to his best friend aka the other woman Grin so I'm treating myself to a quiet hour before sleep. Don't worry though, you're all coming on holiday with me Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2013 00:51

Ooh, Paignton is lovely!! You'll have a lovely time Smile

As if you could ever leave us behind Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2013 09:07

SweetieTime · 26/08/2013 16:44

Happy anniversary Boo Cake Are you nearly there yet? How many times have you heard that comment today? Hope MrB has a lovely day planned for you. Enjoy Paignton, hope all the Boos enjoy it too, so pleased we are coming along with you too Wink

Maybe did the bedtime ginger nut take off the sickness? We have started training our dog not to come upstairs since we moved. We have a baby gate at the top of the stairs, sometimes she is ok with it and sleeps on the top step. But other times she takes real offence to the gate and proper rattles it. She does sleep in a crate in the kitchen at night though.

Keep we tried to get the front room and our bedroom done first then the rest of the house is work in progress. We have put up a mirror above the fireplace and a large picture on the landing so it is coming together now. I have also sorted out all my clothes, I am actually ashamed how much stuff I have got. I have sent masses to charity and still had loads to suction bag for storage such as work things that I won't be needing for a while.

DH hadn't got me the gift in question, I got percy pigs and fruit jellies instead - happy with both them TBH. He seemed pleased with his aftershave, he isn't the enthusiastic type. I have been to ASDA baby event today saddo and bought loads of bits just to get it out of the way while I still feel up to it. I am going to keep adding to as it is all stuff we will use and will keep so will come in useful when we only have a single income. I know I am a bit previous but I like to be organised.
DH wants to order the nursery furniture today too as there is 15% off until midnight tonight, this would save us £100 so worth it although I am not sure where we will store it as we haven't even started the nursery yet.

Hope everyone is making the most of the bank holiday weekend, it has been glorious here.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2013 18:41

It's been a gorgeous day here too Sweetie! I love a Percy pig!! On the subject of M&S, they currently are celebrating the walnut whip. They have a massive run shaped like a walnut whip that's full of them. I had to buy one of course!

The biscuit did help a bit, but I didn't have a good night. I'm dreading work tomorrow. I just feel like I'm not coping at the moment. I feel like a drama queen. I'm not normally like this.

The baby event sounds fab. I think it's a great idea to get lots of bits now. I think my mums going to go crazy buying once the magic 12 weeks is out of the way Grin

Though I will admit, we got a few bits at the weekend. One of which is a cow print baby grow. I want an adult one!

Hope you're in Devon now Boo! Have a scone for me!

keepitgoing · 26/08/2013 19:18

Where is it !5% off today, sweetie? And did you get an extra 10% off kiddicare on top of the sale, did I miss something? D'oh...

SweetieTime · 26/08/2013 20:06

Keep is it 15% off at Homebase, they had the same nursery set we had seen at Argos, DH think Argos own Homebase now. He has purchased them now including mattresses saving £127. We chose delivery at end of Sept so we have time to crack on with the nursery.

Yes we got 10% off at Kiddicare too, plus they price matched everything we had seen elsewhere for cheaper than their saving. They sent us the 10% voucher when I signed up online so it might be worth doing that and seeing if they send you one. It was valid for a month so it wasn't a sale as such, although I think they have a sale on too.

Maybe I love the sound of the cow print onesie. We waited until our 20 week scan before buying anything, we are very cautious after all we have been through. DH has ordered an elf and father christmas baby grows in new born size for Christmas. Please don't disown me because you will all want to see the photos I know it. I think it is a must when having kids to have some great photos to bring out at every -embarrassing-- opportunity.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2013 20:11

I think they sound amazing Sweetie! It is compulsory to dress babies up!! MrM has found a pea pod baby grow that he's buying!! Sometimes I think we shouldn't buy anything. Feel like I'm jinxing it.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 26/08/2013 20:19

Just a quick one, were here, well we got here ages ago, caravan lovely, place amazing. Tell you all more when I get chance :)

ThedementedPenguin · 26/08/2013 20:30

sweetie what's the point in having a baby if you don't dress them up. Grin you are gonna be able to get matching outfits, that will be mega cute.

I had a pumpkin at Halloween. A reindeer, Christmas pudding and Santa at Christmas, I'll try and get some pics up. It is the cutest thing ever a baby in a wee dress up sleep suit. So cute.

I'm not buying anything until 20 week scan, I want to find out what we are having. If we have a boy ill not need to buy much but will be wanting some new stuff. If its a girl I'm gonna try and get some clothes off my auntie and sister then buy some new stuff. Im so excited.

Solars · 26/08/2013 20:49

Happy Anniversaries to both Sweetie & Boo how many years are you both celebrating?

Sweetie those sound like really good discounts. I too will be waiting until 20 weeks to buy anything, I have looked at a few things online though, but not in great detail. I think the twins will look so cute in their outfits, can't wait to see the pics.

Maybe how is the sickness?

How is everyone doing?

I have to go in tmrw for a repeat NK blood test at the argy, hoping this one is also all within limits like the last one so I don't need the intralipids.

SweetieTime · 26/08/2013 20:52

Maybe are these the pea pod suits your DH has spotted? If so my DH has them on his Amazon wish list. I think they will look amazing on twins too, don't worry if we get them I will be posting photos. I am glad you are all in agreement that it is a parenting must to dress up kids.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2013 20:54

They're the ones Sweetie!! Amazing aren't they. I'd like a whole veg patch!

It's not great Solars, but I'll live!! Was it this weekend that you had your family do? Hopefully the bloods are all good tomorrow. Fingers crossed Smile

Solars · 26/08/2013 20:58

How cute Sweetie

No the wedding is in 2 weeks time Maybe, I'm still panicking about outfits as I feel as if my breasts have had a growth spurt this weekend and I don't get my blouse back until a couple of days before the wedding, I may sporting the busting at the seems look, eek!

cartoontrickster · 26/08/2013 21:27

cartoontrickster · 26/08/2013 21:38

I've just looked them up on the website maybe I love them! did you see the snowsuit? I totes want to dress the baby as a cow.

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2013 22:43

Grin Trix! If it were so oaky acceptable for me to dress like a cow, I definitely would!! So instead if has to be a baby dressing as a cow!!

keepitgoing · 27/08/2013 07:55

I want to get a bear snowsuit with little ears on. Kip'll be born at the start of winter, so we'll need lots of cosy things. sweetie those pea suits are just too cute! I'm also really up for a Christmas suit...
