Solars please put pics up, your outfits sound lovely :)

Keep how lucky, and lovely, to have your neighbours feeding you :) my (87 year old) neighbour came round with a bag of string beans she had grown.

I went back to the gym today for the first time in 6 months, it felt goooooooooood!!!!

SweetieTime · 22/08/2013 21:45

In case anyone's worried, kitty has used the litter tray :) But urgh, I can't wait until she's allowed out again - of course she waited until DH had gone to work...

keepitgoing · 23/08/2013 10:44

maybe remind me how many frosties you got btw?

Solars · 23/08/2013 11:26

If I don't look like a big frump I'll put some pics up!

Trix exciting times with the doppler it seems!

You've got plenty of time to get a gift Boo

I got some maternity capri pants from ASOS delivered this morning, (the only item I've bought so far) I tried them on this morning to make sure they fit ok and I've still got them on Shock with the tags still on Shock they're soooo comfy!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/08/2013 11:47

Solars I got some maternity jeans the other day. They are like heaven!! Inuits couldn't stand sitting down all day in uncomfy clothes!! And there's no way you'll look like a frump!!!

Boo. At least you've remembered now Grin

Keep, we've got 4 too quality, hatching frosties, exactly the same quality as this one. How about you? Go you think you'll got back out to Thailand for the next kip? So pleased kittykeep is ok!

keepitgoing · 23/08/2013 13:57

i just got an isabelle oliver dress off ebay for £10 - it arrived just now and looks really good for work.

maybe we have 3 frosties. Recently I've started to worry as I want to give them all a chance, but what if they were all to work?! I wouldn't want 4 children... I am trying to be reasonable - a) chances of them all defrosting well and taking is not high, and b) they ARE NOT babies. In fact i think the coil works by inhibiting implantation so I assume some people would have similar ones every month and they just don't take. Anyway, I'm not sure why I'm stressing about it right not.

No, I think we'll have them brought over here as it's much easier that way. Imagine trying to time holiday, flights etc for a FET.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/08/2013 14:07

I wouldn't worry about it yet Keep. I'm not really sure how the whole FET process works. But I thought frosties normall thawed quite well? I didn't know you could have them brought over. Oh, that's much less stressful!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 23/08/2013 16:03

Um Maybe since when were Eskimos the authority on maternity wear? Grin Your imps fingers are awesome!

I loved the comfy feeling of good maternity clothes, I get the same joy now when I find a decent breast feeding top :)

Will we've had a lovely day out, been to town to get last minute holiday bits and there was a street festival on, toddly boo got well stuck in and did a little performance too Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/08/2013 16:09

I've been in bed over an hour and I now officially give up on trying to sleep. I'm exhausted, slept in today been falling asleep all day and now nothing. Sad

SweetieTime · 25/08/2013 10:10

Pen I was exactly the same last night. Went to bed feeling exhausted but could not sleep. Bloody DH was worse for wear and dog was crying to get let out of the kitchen so that might have added to my woes. I think I eventually went to sleep at about 3am. How does this sleeplessness work? I am not even that big yet sleep just won't come. How you feeling today Pen?

We went mad at Kiddicare yesterday, officially skint now!! We have our buggy, car seats x2, car bases x 2, changing mat, bottles & sterilisers and loads of other bits & bobs. I feel we are really getting there now. We have decided on the nursery furniture and theme so just need to get DH decorating.

We have another Christening today with DH family, they will all be asking us loads of questions so it will be nice to see everyone all at once. I know they have been buying stuff for us too so we might get some stuff today. I would like to know what we have got so I know what else to buy too.

How is everyone enjoying the extended weekend? What are all your plans?

cartoontrickster · 25/08/2013 10:19

sweetie yay for lots of baby shopping. I can't wait. I sneaked in an all in one last wkBlush its been agreed I can buy stuff as long as I hide it from dh.
so all wk the suggestion has been hanging around that we were going to invite dhs parents over at some point this weekend. I kept pushing him to ask, he never did said he'd changed his mind. fair enough, I wasn't that bothered just like to know what I'm doing. then this morning he wakes up and decides he does want them. so they are now coming and staying the night! grrrr he does this everytime. I'm here panicing if we've got enough breakfast stuff for tomorrow and if the house is clean. at least their not coming till 4ish.

ThedementedPenguin · 25/08/2013 10:22

I'm not feeling too bad so far today. Although last night was the worst I've had yet. Felt so rough all night, every time I moved I thought I was going to be sick. Although I did manage to get a decent nights sleep.

Although I do feel bad for Dp as he has done the majority of things, cooking, cleaning and getting up with ds at night. I just feel so useless.

sweetie i love baby shopping. Although I don't need to do as much this time. However, depending on sex I might buy the bouncer I want. Actually I might buy it anyways. It's awesome.

SweetieTime · 25/08/2013 10:33

Trix you will be fine, rope DH to help tidy and run the supermarket.

Pen can you do a link to the bouncer? It is the ASDA baby event from tomorrow and they had some nice things that will be heavily reduced such as bouncers. Might be worth a look online to compare. Hope you feel better today too.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 25/08/2013 10:42

Ooh I loved baby shopping Sweetie now I love little girl and toddler shopping Wink

Trix definitely get Mr Trix helping, do him a list! Then you pop off to the shops to get the food and shoes, handbag, hair done Grin

Pen hope Pingu let's you get some sleep tonight!

I'm doing an Asda online shop for when we get home so I will definitely be having a look at the baby stuff!

ThedementedPenguin · 25/08/2013 11:47

sweetie my current bouncer is from Asda. I seem it during my first pregnancy and I really wanted to buy it (ill check if its still for sale) however DPs godparents said they would buy it but then turned up with one completely different.

I think it's too early for me to buy things so ill hold out onto the next baby event. Oh btw tescos baby event started 20th August - 16th Sept.

Trix hope you enjoy your day. I'm glad we live close enough to both parents we can visit regularly therefore no need to stay over.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 25/08/2013 15:58

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!! Phew so pleased I have that out of my system! I'm in packing hell :( K has decided she wants to be on me all day, she won't let me wrap her, just hold her, I have loads to do, DH isn't back till 6.30, I still have to go and see my brother, teen boo is a worry and toddly just wants to play with me and I keep having to say not yet :(:( I need a holiday!! Oh, wait Grin

SweetieTime · 25/08/2013 20:54

Boo have things calmed down? Hope you have had a minute to get some packing done. BTW I am well jel of your holiday.

I have well and truly been grappled and man handled today. DH family are super touchy feely especially DH cousin has a Thai wife who was very hands on to say the least. Made up for it with a take away and recorded F1 not as good as yesterdays qualifying though

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/08/2013 20:57

Oh no Boo!! I hope you're now having a well deserves rest!! Where are you off to?

Sweetie, what a day you've had! Did you get any little gifts?! What takeaway did you have?

keepitgoing · 25/08/2013 23:03

I agree, the Thais tend to be v touchy...

We now have a liveable-in living room, as well as dining room. Slow but steady... Had a roast in the pub for lunch to keep spirits up.
