The one where hopefully we are feeling less nauseous and knackered (although we develop hippo hands and feet due to the heat!), we are entering or are in our second trimester (phew!), we continue with 12 week scans and test results (ekkk!), we have 16 week midwife appointments and hear the heartbeat (OMG - aw!), we potentially see the beginnings of bumps and feel the first flutters of movement (wow!) and the 20 week scan for some is just around the corner! Grin

Oh and we try to improve our diets after surviving on one food group during the first trimester!!! Wink

Bring it on thread 7!!!

(pod hope I did you proud)!

No baby dreams here, plenty of just plain odd ones thoughSmile

BabyshamBambi456 · 08/08/2013 15:23

I haven't had anything like yours Mythree nightmares are awful tho, hugs

BabyshamBambi456 · 08/08/2013 15:24

oops, I thought you said bad dreams not baby! I've had no baby dreams either though

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 15:24

I've had a few. Once was that it was a little girl called Beatrice, born with a ginger bob and already able to sit up. We hadn't told anyone I was pregnant yet and we didn't have any equipment at all.

Another that I was having a scan and we'd told the sonographer we absolutely did not want to know the sex. As soon as the put the thing on my belly, up on the screen was just a willy.

Mythreeknights · 08/08/2013 15:27

toby you have made me laugh out loud again! The one about the willy is hilarious!

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 15:29

That's me...hilarious :o

Penny31 · 08/08/2013 15:34

So funny toby!

No dreams here either!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 08/08/2013 15:48

toby I wish I were good enough at Photoshop to create a scan pic of just a willy. I'd so put it on my profile.

I've had some weird dreams about being out of control - usually trying to drive a car from the passenger seat. All v Freudian.mythree you have my sympathy (oh, and your 16wk Doppler thread - brilliant, particularly the mental feminist at the end Grin).

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 15:49

:o

Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 16:02

Love breast pads it is then! Beginning to wonder if I should get some in just incase. I remember my mate telling me hers started leaking all over her light grey t-shirt at a dinner party for the first time!

Mythree that's horrible! Nasty dreams!

Babysham - you WILL be best friends! Lol! That cracked me up!!!

OMG Toby! That willy scan dream has just made my day! Frickin hilarious! Totally cracked me up! That is bound to pop into my head tomorrow at the scan! Hope I don't start laughing like a crazy woman again!

Well, if it happens to you, we will all know I'm psychic.

MrsVDB · 08/08/2013 16:12

Anyone seen this? We could have Christmas babies or feb babies

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 16:15

I saw that yesterday. I was surprised it was news, considering that 'full term' usually always means 37 - 42 weeks. It has done for as long as I can remember Confused

TarkaTheOtter · 08/08/2013 16:19

With dd I used to dream that I had given birth to (and was breastfeeding) baby animals. Most commonly a tiger cub. This seemed totally to my sleepy pregnant brain.

BookTart · 08/08/2013 16:58

Blimey lilies! I've just ordered some breast pads in case [grins]

I'm glad you said that tarka. Last week I dreamt I had the baby but wanted to go to a gig with my mate do handed it straight over to my brother. When I went to pick it up, it was a ferret! I was happy enough about it (even breastfed it!), but knew it would be embarrassing telling everyone else, and was upset I'd have to go back to work early! Confused

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 08/08/2013 17:10

toby turns out Photoshop is easier than I thought...

Check my profile photos.

Grin You are WELCOME.
TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 17:17

I made myself cough with the laughing :o

Mythreeknights · 08/08/2013 17:28

Ha ha! Delightful Humpty! Although it does look a bit liked a pooh. Grin

lovelilies · 08/08/2013 17:34

Argh, forgot to buy breast pads and going out for dinner to meet a good friend of dp's ... hopefully padded bra will hold it at bay! Blush
Love the "we WILL be best friends"!!Grin

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 08/08/2013 17:39

It does look like a poo, because it is an ancient Egyptian penis. I couldn't Google 'cock' at work...
However, working for a small charity which does work on ancient Egypt has its perks.

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 17:40

Mummified willy :o

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 08/08/2013 18:00

Those pervy Egyptians, they probably tried that at some point. They mummified snakes FGS.

Percypiglet · 08/08/2013 18:02

Humpty, I get those dreams too, although I am often driving from the back seat and thinking "how can I reach the pedals and see round the front seat" or having to reverse all the way instead of going forward. We clearly have control issue!

Another entirely pointless midwife appointment today (16 weeks) - took bp, did urine sample, pretended she had talked to me about everything she needed to by ticking it in my notes when actually she hadn't and hurried me out.....I liked the "do you have any questions for me" said in a hurried tone, as in £you'd better not". And all the things she did need to explain she got wrong - e.g. breastfeeding and what protection it offers you as a female and didnt explain about anti d/rheses neg at all.....didnt even have the leaflet and just asked me to look it up on internet and sign the consent form once I had.

Entirely pointless. still haven't actually met my midwife but this one was a lady so didn't throw me as much as booking in apmt with the male midwife! no heartbeat listening either - boo hiss. Rant over!!!

MrsGSR · 08/08/2013 18:23

That sounds rubbish Percy :(

I've had some strange dreams about leaving the baby in shopping trolleys or in the middle of the road.
