The one where hopefully we are feeling less nauseous and knackered (although we develop hippo hands and feet due to the heat!), we are entering or are in our second trimester (phew!), we continue with 12 week scans and test results (ekkk!), we have 16 week midwife appointments and hear the heartbeat (OMG - aw!), we potentially see the beginnings of bumps and feel the first flutters of movement (wow!) and the 20 week scan for some is just around the corner! Grin

Oh and we try to improve our diets after surviving on one food group during the first trimester!!! Wink

Bring it on thread 7!!!

(pod hope I did you proud)!

sultana I say go for it with Jude. Have you seen Alfie? Awful film, but there's a pool table scene that might be of interest Grin.
Has humptyspider caught anything in her wicked web yet?

MrsAVB · 08/08/2013 08:39

Oh, and FUCK OFF FUCKING MORNING SICKNESS!!!!

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 08:59

Still feeling crap, MrsA? I'm sorry :(

I've been a bit 'gaggy' this week, but this ridiculous cough isn't helping.

Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 09:13

MrsA no I haven't seen Alfie, but will obviously now be googling to see what's what!!! !

So sorry you are still up-chucking! That really fucking sucks! Grrrr!

Toby am not surprised you have been a bit gaggy with your cough! I only coughed a couple of times yesterday - once was because my squash went down the wrong way - and the dry retching that followed took me right back to a few weeks ago! I am still dreading the dentist in a month's time - don't think my gag reflex is EVER going to recover! Still heave several times a week taking my multi-vits!

Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 09:24

MrsA dammit! Should NEVER have watched that pool table scene so soon after my own "scene".... Still, perhaps it will help the day go quickly....

Just remember -- he's BORING!

Penny31 · 08/08/2013 09:36

Eeeeek sultana your scan tomorrow! What time? I wish I could have mine all over again it was the most amazing thing that I have ever seen :)

Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 09:38

Lol Toby. !

Penny it's at 11.50 tomorrow. Of course today totally paranoid, feeling a bit crampy and worrying like a loonie! Will be getting the doppler out later just for a bit more reassurance before tomorrow. Stupid MMC has scarred me for life when it comes to scans! Grrrr! Really hoping that we will be walking out with huge crazy grins on our faces and we will know if it's blue or pink!!! My gut is still leaning towards a boy, but suddenly not as strongly for some reason.... Should hopefully find out tomorrow! Ekkkk!

OP posts:
TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 09:40

You'll be our first boy, won't you, Sultana?

Penny31 · 08/08/2013 09:45

Honest you will love the scan! I was convinced mine was a boy, I would have put money on it!

How many girls do we have so far, does anyone know?

MrsGSR · 08/08/2013 10:05

Good luck for your scan sultana!

There does seem to be a lot of girls on here, I'm convinced mine is a girl to (but for no real reason!) DH wants to find out so I can get used to the idea of a boy of I'm wrong! I'd be happy either way, I just have a feeling... lol!

Penny31 · 08/08/2013 10:41

I was the same, happy either way but had a strong feeling!

Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 11:09

I too have a strong feeling it will be a boy, which is one of the reasons I want to find out so much, so I can readjust if it's not. I would feel more comfortable with a girl, but would be really happy either way! OMG can't believe it's tomorrow finally!!!

OP posts:
Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 11:10

Just realised I said that already! Oh well, I don't care! I have accepted the fact that I can't remember anything any more.....just going with the flow! Grin

humptyspider reporting for duty SAH! No enemy contact yet, but vigilance is my motto Grin

lilies that is both exciting (that you are progressing to that stage and your boobs are getting ready for baby) and grim all at once.

sultana Nooooooooo Jude Law is not nice. Ew. Think of poor Sienna Miller and that nanny. Grim. Hurrah for your scan tomorrow though! Mine isn't for 12 days which is 273 hours or 16380 minutes...

MrsAVB FUCK OFF FUCKING MORNING SICKNESS.

I have a commiseratory story for those still puking/feeling rough: felt grim this morning, got off the Tube, walked past a homeless chap, stupidly breathed in and got a lungful of fishy-oniony smell and promptly puked. All over the pavement maybe a bit on him. No warning, no saliva build-up, just BAM. Worst thing was, he tried to help and was v solicitous. I had to weakly wave him away as I tried to find a tissue in my bag.

Sultanajo · 08/08/2013 13:24

Humpty - didn't know about Sienna or the nanny.... He is out of my system now thankfully! Phew!

OMG - I so nearly retched at your description of the smell!!! I can just imagine! Poor you! Vomming in public is not fun, especially when the guy who made you vom tries to help you! Without warning also! That's the worst!!!

MrsVDB · 08/08/2013 14:18

humpty that must of been awful but also pretty funny! I find yukky people are the things that set me off the most too.

love wow what a shock!! I'm not looking forward to getting that!!

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 14:22

Oh, humpty! How awful!

lovelilies · 08/08/2013 14:29

Sorry for all you ladies still vomming Sad
Boobs still leaking Confused Confused I remember it started early with dd, and I was like daisy the cow! Will have to.start wearing breast pads Hmm

Mythreeknights · 08/08/2013 14:34

Hello ladies Grin lovely hearing about the sexual fantasies and leaking boobies. My only dreams seem to be ones of loss, losing my two ds. Sometimes they are kidnapped, sometimes they drown in the bath, sometimes I just lose them. I always wake in a panic, run and check them in their bedrooms and then toss and turn for the rest of the night. I haven't actually had any baby dreams yet, which is a shame.
penny did you have any inkling you were having a girl before your twenty week scan?

BabyshamBambi456 · 08/08/2013 14:43

Hi everyone! love wow another preggo symptom to watch out for! humpty what a situation! Hope you recovered swiftly (I mean from the Jude Law thing not the puking Smile
I too have a strong feeling I'm having a boy and for that reason want to find out the sex at my scan which is bloody ages away DH and I refer to baby as 'the wee fella' so will need to get that out of the system at least.
toby know exactly what you mean about wanting to meet other mums, I have no friends nearby with even kids never mind babies! However a woman joined my aqua aerobics class who's due on the same day, so we WILL become best friends Smile

Penny31 · 08/08/2013 14:46

mythree no inkling it was a girl at all!

TobyLerone · 08/08/2013 14:48

That sounds awful, mythree :( You poor thing.

MrsGSR · 08/08/2013 14:50

Oh no humpty That sounds horrible :( I hope you start feeling better soon!

I caved and ordered a doppler. Can't remember which one but it had good reviews on Amazon. It should arrive next week :)
