couldn't find one in the age group threads so thought it might be nice to have a 20-something's group - obviously anyone is welcome though!

my basic info is:
age 22
6w2d
edd 7th march
no dcs!

anyone else?

itsliz Yeah...very much wishing the days away. No plans to be pregnant again either. Ready to be DONE. But then again, two HG and SPD pregnancies haven't exactly been fun.

Gerty1002 · 06/08/2013 06:55

Poor you RNJ, how stressful.

I behaved like a paranoid pregnant lady last night and rang delivery suite to ask if too much movement could be a sign of distress... I have a very active baby generally but last night was ridiculous, I was crying out in pain from kicks to my cervix and pelvis, and I could see every movement of every limb! I was actually worried my waters might have gone without me realising. Midwife just told me movement is usually good but to keep an eye on it, which I expected.

Once crazy alien movements subsided I actually managed to get some sleep! I had forgotten how wonderful it is Smile

hello gawjus good to see you on here too :)

Nellysgirl · 07/08/2013 13:41

Hello Smile

I'm 25 and 32 weeks.

Gerty1002 · 07/08/2013 14:16

Hi newcomers :)

RNJ how you getting on in this race of ours? Found out yesterday baby id 2/5 engaged, but he feels lower yet again today!

Hope you're doing ok.

How's everyone else getting on?

RNJ3007 · 07/08/2013 17:56

Hi Gerty - head is non palpable above brim of pelvis! And I've had bloody show today... He needs to wait at least 26 more hours before he does anything; must get through funeral and wake tomorrow.

How are you feeling?

Gerty1002 · 07/08/2013 22:06

Oh yikes sounds like LO is making way for the exit! Keep your legs crossed! I hope all goes as well as it can tomorrow.

I'm feeling ok, seem to be having phases of strong and uncomfortable BH between 3pm-6pm each day, which is odd, then just at random intervals throughout the day. Got a midwife appointment tomorrow, so hoping to chat through birth plan as we haven't done this yet.

Gerty1002 · 12/08/2013 10:18

Had a false alarm last night, contractions every 6 minutes from 10pm-4:30am but not excruciating enough to ring delivery suite. This morning... nada. No plug or waters loss. VERY FRUSTRATED!

How is everyone else getting on?

sarahleanne · 18/08/2013 22:21

im so jealous reading this thread, im only 19 weeks...shouldn't wish it away though Grin
good luck girlies!

Gerty1002 · 19/08/2013 15:20

Hi Sarahleanne, congratulations on your pregnancy. This thread has gone very quiet lately!

I'm 38+3 now and so ready to have this baby!

sarahleanne · 19/08/2013 21:28

yeah it has gerty where is everyone?
saying that, I introduced myself ages ago and then lost the thread and just found it again.
hows everyone getting on? I have my scan on Wednesday. I bet that seems like a distant memory for some of you ...I cant wait to meet baby :)

Gerty1002 · 20/08/2013 10:59

Hopefully a few are off having newborn cuddles :). Scan is defo a distant memory at 38+4 - even the one I had at 36 weeks to check his position seems like ages ago!

Mummabear12 · 21/08/2013 22:03

Hello can I join even though most of you are very near giving birth?!
I'm 21 so think I'm the youngest :)
Baby number 2 (got pg at 19 she's 18m now)
Im 5 weeks exactly
EDD 22/4/14

ThedementedPenguin · 21/08/2013 22:10

mumma we are on two of the same threads. I'm due in April as well. Roughly 05/04.

I have a ds who is 11months.

Mummabear12 · 21/08/2013 22:18

Aww we are pretty much in the same boat then :) is your first boy or girl? I'm a bit worried about caring for her whilst being heavily pregnant! Obviously loads of women do it and maybe I'm just a stress head but she is very demanding now so imagine when she can speak more and is having terrible twos lol glad we can support each other to the end/ beginning :)

ThedementedPenguin · 21/08/2013 22:28

I have a boy.

I know I'm finding it quite hard at times at the minute with the tiredness.

He is also in the very clingy/jealous stage so hoping it passes soon.

Mummabear12 · 21/08/2013 22:32

Ahhh I think mine must of had that phase late then as she is still very clingy doesn't even want daddy!! How far along are you now? I know tiredness is proving quite difficult :(

ThedementedPenguin · 21/08/2013 22:35

I'm 7 weeks 4 days. Can't wait to hit the 12 week mark and hopefully get a bit more energy.

Mummabear12 · 21/08/2013 22:39

Yes me too and the 12 week scan too :) is your partner excited? Have you told many people?
Mine isn't being as interested/ excited as I'd hope and he said he doesn't want to tell anyone for aslong as possible so I feel a bit alone! Glad I have everyone on here!

Gerty1002 · 22/08/2013 08:25

Hi mumma, actually I think there's only a few of us close to the end. There's a good range here :).

Got 38 week appointment today, although I'm 39 weeks tomorrow - midwife coming to my house, which I found a bit odd!

ThedementedPenguin · 22/08/2013 12:07

Gerty I've read that a lot on here about Mw coming to your house. Saves you time travelling to them.

mumma he's not as excited but to be honest is still very early days and you are pregnant for what feel likes ages. Although I couldn't ever say last time he was excited but was fantastic during labour and afterwards.

We both agreed not to tell anyone. I found out when I was 4 weeks, however when I was with my family I hated them not knowing.

So my mum, her partner, both my aunties, all my brothers and sisters (2bros+3sis) know. My Dps mum and dad, his granny, his brother and two sisters know. I don't think he has told his friends yet.

Are you planning on waiting until 12 weeks?

Mummabear12 · 22/08/2013 14:37

Ahhh see I really want to tell my mum but he said he wants to wait :( I've told about 4 of my friends but no family. Ideally if like to wait till 12 weeks purely so we will have a picture to show them as I think that makes it extra special however I don't think ill be able to keep it in that long! 1 because I'm too excited and 2 apparetly you show a lot earlier second time round! So will have to see :)

DaleyBump · 22/08/2013 14:43

Hi, can I join? I'm 18, but there's no groups for anyone younger than 20. I'm currently 25+5 with my first (a boy!) and due on the 30th of November :)

ThedementedPenguin · 22/08/2013 15:02

Hi Daley the more the merrier :) congrats. How are you finding everything?

Mumma tell me about it. Although I'm heavier now than before I had ds so I'm not sure when ill be showing.
