I can't stomach any meat either champagnebubble I can manage chicken at a push (and if someone else makes it for me)

I'm plain carbs a go go at the minute.

My shopping yesterday consisted of

Strawberries and cream (managed to have seconds)
Milky bars
Chocolate buttons
Plain hula hoops
Apples
Cereal
Lollies
Baking potatoes
Bread
Crumpets
Lemon squash
Fruit sweets

I also tried the sea bands at the weekend. The day I wore them was the one day I've been sick Confused

Bearfrills · 01/07/2013 17:49

I'm having crumble and custard for tea because everything else is making me feel unbearably sick Blush it's technically one of my five a day if it contains fruit, right?

DD has come down with a horrid cough that I bet I'm going to catch too!

Middy75 · 01/07/2013 17:50

I've been hanging back a while since first posting as I've had bleeding on and off. Been to EPU and bloods doubled in 48 hours which is positive and have a re scan on Thurs. first scan only showed a gestational sac as I was only 5+1 at the time. So fingers crossed!
I had to come on though and share my bargin news, I bought two packs ( last two) of Pregnacare max from Morrisons for £2.17 a packet!! Don't know why they were so cheap as the expiry is 2014 Smile

Bearfrills · 01/07/2013 17:57

Oh excellent news middy! Fingers crossed everything goes well. I bled on and off all the way through with DS, to the point that I was admitted at 24wks, switched to consultant-led care and scanned every 3-4wks

I've been in Devon since Friday so haven't been online. So sad to read that namechangingnora and cherryoats have miscarried. My thoughts are with you both.

No nausea here for past week (10+2) but heartburn has kicked in good and proper! Only 2 weeks to wait for my scan though so I'm focussing on that Grin

Champagne, im experiencing the same at work. Had to go to sick room today then came home and there is rumours going around, one woman whom I dislike anyway is telling people im going through IVF and its taking all my strength to not lose it with her!!! Its so annoying. She talks about me to a friend at work so it all comes back to me anyway! Just take deep breaths and try bypass it. Its like being back at school huh

Bearfrills · 01/07/2013 20:24

That's shocking Champagne, rant away - you are definitely not being unreasonable!

rueyrichardson · 01/07/2013 20:30

Sad to read of namechanging's and cherryoats' news.

I had a dating scan today which was a relief and confirmed my dates. All is in order, thankfully. Lovely experience at the ante natal unit, made the whole thing seem quite real, if the morose sickness waves were not enough of a reminder.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 01/07/2013 20:37

Sorry to hear your news cherryoats :(

I am trying not to put on any (more) weight until I've had a scan and announced it to everyone - too many of my clothes feel a bit snug already but my maternity clothes make me look obviously pregnant and I can't be doing with that. Had to start wearing maternity clothes around 8 weeks in my 3rd/4th pregnancies.

I have filled in all my pregnancy notes in preparation for my booking in appointment with MW on Friday. Is it just here that we have to fill in our own notes? Grin I've had to estimate (which is to say, make up) dates for my 3 MCs. I can't flipping remember exactly when - I can remember the year for each of them and the month for one because I was MCing whilst trying to host a birthday party for DS1 (wouldn't recommend that) and ended up in hospital that night...

barebranches · 01/07/2013 20:41

We fill our own notes in where I live too. I got my good pen out and my best handwriting :o

AhoyMcCoy · 01/07/2013 21:05

My work are being fantastic luckily - had to tell my manager due to constant vomiting til 11ish, followed by nausea the rest of the day. My manager suggested I go to occupational health and reduce my hours to 11-4 until I feel better. Haven't taken her up on it yet because I want to keep things "normal" if I can til 12 weeks, but it's such a relief to know work is supportive. Everyone else has definitely guessed (due to watching me throw up in the car park, in a bin at my desk, and running out of a meeting whilst clutching my mouth and gagging- classy!!)

Is anyone else constantly dizzy? Every time I stand up, every time I blow my nose, I feel like I'm going to pass out!

Shropshiremummy2b · 02/07/2013 05:33

Oh no, not cherryoats too, this is such sad news.

I've been awake all night thinking I still don't feel pregnant. I'm pretty much symptomless apart from boobs, weeing and tiredness.

I go on holiday on Sunday and feel like I'd like to know for sure before I go. I can pay £100 for a private scan but just don't know if its just a waste of time and I should hold out til the 24th. Thoughts??? X

Shropshiremummy2b · 02/07/2013 05:52

23rd not 24th. Only just remembered I told them I couldn't do the 24th and wanted it earlier so they brought it forward by one day!

Somanychanges · 02/07/2013 06:19

I am really sick, I can't eat a thing. I don't know if I should just carry on like this as I'm only 6:2 or go and get meds. I am so hungry and my tummy is swollen and sore from all the vomiting.

What shall I do?

vix206 · 02/07/2013 06:34

Somanychanges that sounds miserable, I'd go and talk to the GP. X

LovesToBake · 02/07/2013 06:45

Oh great, after a week of nausea and a very upset stomach in the mornings, the vomiting has commenced. Had virtually nothing in t stomach to bring up so it was more like violent retching, I'm not sure which is worse. Should be on my usual train in 5 mins but am instead lying in bed wondering what to do. Tempted to call in sick but would rather save my credits for when I really need it - from past experience, I'm only sick once a day so at least now I should get through the day with no more puking, albeit feeling constantly nauseous...

rueyrichardson · 02/07/2013 06:48

I agree Somany, pop to the docs and see what they say, sorry you are feeling so rough x
