Ruggle · 03/07/2013 16:40

Champagnebubble , snap! I'm 7+6 too.

Ruggle · 03/07/2013 16:42

I think if I wasn't a long-term vegetarian (since I was 4, and I'm now 38!), I would probably take multivits if I couldn't eat meat, but I guess it depends what your body is used to. I'm very curious to see what my blood test results say. The nurse was adamant that I'd be lacking vit D and folates.

lyndsey90 · 03/07/2013 16:49

Sooo tired!!!!

jazzcat28 · 03/07/2013 16:54

ruggle I think the only thing you might want to take is folic acid. My GP said no need for multi-vits only folic acid and make sure I get 10-20 mins of sunshine on exposed skin a day for my vit D.

I have decided to take Pregnacare (only because this is my first and I'm already worrying).

6+4 or 7+0 (depending on GP dates or mine)

tinypolkadot · 03/07/2013 17:01

Ruggle mine come and go too ? I find when I?m well rested I feel much better and I am constantly monitoring my boobs (trying to give them sly prods when no-ones looking). I wish I felt worse in the morning ? and then I could ring in sick, but I always feel worse in the evenings.

Thanks for everyone?s advice about the hair dye, I think I?ll ring the hairdresser and see what they recommend.

15 minutes until I can leave work and slob out on the sofa. Dh is working away for the next two nights, I?ll miss him but at least I won?t have to worry about making dinner or sniffing dinner smells.

9+1 today and still no sign of an appointment letter Angry

barebranches · 03/07/2013 17:21

DH tells me i have letters at home!!! could this finally be my appointments!!!! fingers crossed!

I've not had anything yet, I think I'll try and chase it tomorrow. So disheartening not to hear anything, especially when you feel so rubbish!

barebranches · 03/07/2013 18:00

aah!!! yes got both appointments and a pack of forms to complete!! Grin

pettyprudence · 03/07/2013 18:12

im not taking multi vitamins either (and cant even claim to have a particularly good diet right now!).
not sure if dh will come to booking in/scan (all in one appointment round my way). ill ask him tonight. more thinking about what to do with ds? do I drag him along for 2+ hours or fork out for child care? I think I will probably fork out. not sure how you keep a toddler amused for so long!

Somanychanges · 03/07/2013 18:16

Hello ladies,
Haven't been on much last two days as just feel ill and didn't have energy to type.

Good news is that since the worst day ever on Monday I managed to eat a few things yesterday, a rice cake, a cracker and some fruit.

Today I have managed a rice cake, 2 crackers and a scone. I feel so dizzy and tired, feel like I need a big wholesome meal. However, the thought of any food makes me heave.

Just made my 2 DC baked potato for dinner as the only thing I could manage. Going to try and have some.

I am still on a raging carb rampage. OH is trying to stay trim. We couldn't be more out of synch. When I come home I just want crisps and he is on a protein and salad kick! Booking in is still a week away... Just marking time.

Welcome to the newbies :-)
I'm not taking multivitamins either, just folic acid. Normally my diet is pretty good (I have been a slimming world target member for the last year or so, so loads of fruit and veg, no processed stuff, plenty of lean meat and fish and some dairy) but in the last week or two I have got very heavy on the carbs, and I have definitely put on weight. I can feel it around my thighs and bum, as well as belly and boobs.
Anyone else watching wimbledon? I remember being glued to it 4 years ago, my DD was born in June and I spent most of the tennis fortnight on the sofa BF! Ah, memories...

I was largely symptom free until this morning. My ibs has massively flared up and in in a lot of pain with it. Plus, because I can't eat due to the pain lower down my nausea has come back. Feeling a bit sorry for myself as its our wedding anniversary today Hmm

So I'm getting a bit Envy at all this talk of growing boobs, mine are still as small as ever!!!

So who has told real life and who is keeping it till their scan?? I couldn't keep a secret to save my life so am gradually telling people.

mrscookie78 · 03/07/2013 19:26

can't believe how fast this thread moves, the other feb thread is very slow. Grin
im nearly 9 weeks according to the midwife. I had my booking in appointment yesterday and came back with so many leaflets and little booklets, just have to wait for a text from the hospital now regarding my scan. Im taking pregnacare, the mw's like you to take something with folic acid and vitamin d. I took them with ds1 until I stopped bf. hope everyone feels ok, I have felt awful for nearly two weeks now. I don't remember feeling this bad last time but I guess I could be more selfish and just think about me rather than a 20month old. My friend said to try ginger ale, so think ill try and get some tomorrow but I am finding coke zero helps me feel a little human Grin

mrscookie78 · 03/07/2013 19:27

Ive told too many people lumpy, most people knew I was trying and its kind of hard to hide how rubbish I feel on the school run. Shock

laura0007 · 03/07/2013 19:34

I've started telling people gradually too. Only really people I wouldn't mind telling if something went wrong though. Work know (I'm a nanny) and my best friends and family. I'm rubbish with secrets especially when it's something I'm excited about and doing alone! Need all the support I can get.

Or 9+3!!! I've forgotten Shock

Bearfrills · 03/07/2013 19:43

My sickness has definitely gotten worse with each pregnancy! DS was only 16mo when I got pregnant with DD and when I was being sick he used to slam the toilet lid on my head :o
