Starting yet another thread as us chatterboxes have filled up 2 already!

Jucy, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Big hugs, wish there was something more I could say. Flowers

Frouby, if you're feeling crap just fuck the housework off, I do! It'll keep.

I'm scared and excited in equal measures about the scan on Friday. Looking forward to seeing bean and being able to get on with things. But obviously scared of getting bad news like Jucy... 2 days, 1 hour and 50 minutes to go!

My friend has offered to be a birthing partner too. I may well take her up on it, I suspect she'll be more help than OH. And as I'm planning on having a home water birth and OH has already invited his bloody mum (!) think it'll be good to have a friend there. I'm not private at all, have zero issues with people seeing me naked (as my neighbours will tell you) and she's seen me throw up enough times from our party days (though never shit myself to be fair) that I'm not too fussed about that.

We're having bacon and tomato sandwiches queeny. Yum. Dp just gone to the shop.

And we ended up having chip shop for tea. I had chips, sausage and gravy so I can't even argue that the fish was good for me.

No wonder I'm getting fat lol.

Fed up of itchy nips.

violetbean · 22/06/2013 09:22

Scrambled eggs (well done) :-)

Glad you're staying with us, Queen!

PistachioTruffle · 22/06/2013 09:43

Yes, glad you're staying Queen! After all, there's a good chance some more of our babies will be born in November or January.

Breakfast is Kellogg's crunchy nut, while I try and stay awake.

MildredH · 22/06/2013 10:15

Breakfast is a big mug of Horlicks.. Just climbed into bed after a long and short staffed night shift. Aah the relief!

Night all.. Happy Saturdays..

Holly1977 · 22/06/2013 10:16

Bean is fine, think it might be a girl but couldn't say for sure. :-) I'm rhesus negative though. Waiting for blood test results then going to have anti d jab. Doc said not to worry about that or the bleeding. She said if it carries on as it is not to worry. So determined to start relaxing and enjoying it now...

Great news Holly! Must be lovely to have seen your bean again..

I'm lying in bed and am convinced I can feel something in my lower tummy.. But wonder if I'm imagining as I want to feel it so badly?

abcdemma · 22/06/2013 10:54

Good news and advice Holly since you feeling relaxed and happy is best for your little one after all :)
I'm the same Mildred, feeling flutters and air bubbles which I'm sorta convinced is bambino. It's a nice feeling though isn't it lol.
Breakfast was crunchy nut but my mum ate the last of it so searching the kitchen for some inspiration... Bran flakes just aren't cutting it...

mumoftwoboysS · 22/06/2013 11:24

Thanks for the link flutterby can't see feta on there which I've been eating- oh well I think it's pasteurised!

Can't catch up on all the posts ATM, waiting for he channel tunnel - delays-grr. Really want a coffee but already had one today...

Any of you counting caffeine content or just having what you fancy? I may have one decent coffee a day on holiday- if I can't have wine then I've got to have some other indulgence!...

mumoftwoboysS · 22/06/2013 11:27

Ooh and taking about new symptoms, I've got a good one- varicose veins in your lady parts! Bet you're all jealous! Had it with DS2 and looks like they're back again! Feel a throbbing pain when i get up after sitting or when standing too long. Bound to get worse as baby gets bigger too Hmm

Gannetgob · 22/06/2013 13:31

Wow, mum. You are a lucky lady! I'd just like to warn people not to search for them on google images. You cannot un-see some things they show on that page!

I've had my nuchal results back. 1 in 100000, so that's good news.

I'm also wearing my new maternity jeans and top. The jeans are under the bump, but a bit big. They are so comfy. The top is far too big in the bump department but I'm wearing it anyway because its long (and because I don't look pregnant, just fat, I didn't want to wear a shorter top and have people just think I need to wear elasticated waistbands!)

That's really exciting news, queen, you might be first with a baby!

And we have our second (I think) gender! Yay holly! I know it wasn't quite confirmed, but that's still exciting!

Does anyone have any feelings as to what they are having? I think I've got a boy in there! Not sure why, just a feeling!

2Labradors · 22/06/2013 16:51

Queen glad you're staying. My 12 week scan brought my EDD forward to 28th November. My 1st two babies were both late, so baby #3 could be Nov or Dec, but I like it here Grin

I've just had an Indian head massage, oh it was wonderful. I fancied a treatment as been feeling stressed in work and this was recommended as you don't lie on the bed on your back, it's a special sort of chair. I would recommend it. My tension was in my neck apparently and when she worked that area baby started wriggling around lots.

Gannet I had a dream the other night and I woke up thinking we are having a boy. My mum had a dream that we're having a girl though, and she's spookily accurate with things like that. One of us has to be right Smile

Gannetgob · 22/06/2013 18:07

Indian head massage sounds lovely, 2lab! 1 of you definitely has to be right, are you going to find out at your 20 week scan?

If I have a dream about the gender of my baby, I'm not going to trust it. The other night I had a dream that my baby came out with a full set of teeth, moaned about my breast milk and asked for dauphinoise potatoes instead!

I've had a few baby dreams. None of them have been nice! I must be anxious about it!

froubylou · 22/06/2013 20:23

I have a feeling I am having a boy. But thought that last time and was wrong lol.

One of my mums friends was a bit of a psychic and came round to my house about 15 years ago. She didn't do a reading as such as I was really sceptical about all that. However she did say I would be going to a wedding soon which I wasn't and some other stuff.

Didn't pay much attention but after she had left a friend of mine called and asked me to go to a wedding with him in a couple of weeks lol.

She also said I would marry a man in a position of authority who wore either uniform or boots. And that I would have a boy and a girl but not necessarily in that order.

D.p has his own construction company and wears boots and I already have the dd. So if she was right jesus is a boy.

And I had a set of tarot cards. Was doing them for ages. One night one popped out and said big changes were coming and it can mean pgy though the person may not know it yet.

I didn't know. And I bloody was pmsl.

Im quite normal really you know. Honest lol.

Alyssa1978 · 22/06/2013 21:36

I have a feeling this is boy number 3, but I don't know whether it's an actual feeling or its just cos I already have 2 boys that I can't see myself with a dd, although I feel exactly the seem as last 2 pregnancies, oh well only 5 month until we find out Smile

NomDeClavier · 22/06/2013 22:03

I am convinced its a girl. I keep referring to it as she/her! We have no girly stuff though, and no room to buy any more, so any girl will be dressed in blue ;) although that said its be blue summer clothes!!! Need to get knitting...

I am feeling insanely tired still. Where is my energy boost?! Indian head massage sounds absolutely wonderful.

I keep having weird dreams, including a very erotic dream which actually terminated with me going 'no I can't cheat on DH'! I thought sexy dreams were supposed to, y'know, involve good sex not being being all moral!

Glad you're sticking around Queen.

gannet that party situation sounds a bit nightmarish. I don't think that if you're not going to the party then you shouldn't be pushed into going in on the present. Maybe in a stingy bitch but if you liked her then it wouldn't be an issue Wink

I reckon you could sell the stuff on pistachio if you decided to get it. Is it really, really girly?

Futterby · 22/06/2013 22:14

Fantastic holly! I think I'm having a boy but I would be totally ecstatic either way :)

Had the weirdest/scariest dream of my life this morning. I thought I was awake, even now I'm not totally convinced I was sleeping!

So I dreamed that I felt this awful presence enter my body from my back (I was lying on my front) and, please remember I'm not crazy, I knew it was a demon. So I tried to open my eyes and everything was out of focus and spinning, and I then began to float towards the celing. I screamed as loud as I possibly could and wrenched my eyes open to find that I was lying in bed, drenched in sweat. In my sleepy haze, I even Googled "possessed while pregnant" because it was so vivid I thought it had actually happened idiot. Currently lying in bed terrified to sleep Blush

froubylou · 22/06/2013 22:22

Futterby its just hormones sweetie. I have 3 times in the last few weeks dreamt of either spiders or bees being in our bed. And woke dp up by screaming and knocking things off me.

And I had a pervy dream about my ex from 15 years ago. And then a cant get home to baby dream.

No wonder we are all tired all the time. We never stop I bed lol.

Futterby · 22/06/2013 22:30

God, I know but still Blush pregnancy dreams are something else! Had one recently where I had twin boys who turned into rabbits and escaped into my neighbour's garden! Woke up executed after "chasing the rabbits" in my sleep all night!

Futterby · 22/06/2013 22:31

Glad I didn't actually wake up executed, exhausted would be more like it Blush

QueenofWhispers · 22/06/2013 22:41

So DH has been missing in the bed department as of late.

(TMI ALERT)

We used to have sex quite a lot until recently; 2-4 times a day average and on the most hectic days at least once (which was rare) but for the last few months theres been very little; in fact we had decided in December we would try to get pregnant by the end of the month and didn't get pregnant (because we were only having sex like 2-3 times a week) and HE BLAMED IT ON ME--told me to have myself checked out.

Fast forward to April to find out we are pregnant; but our sex life has dwindled even more. We're lucky to have sex once a week now. I'm super sad. Cant tell my friends, all my married friends havent had sex in years..so if I mention it it'll just seem like I'm bragging.

Anyway, because the lack of sex, I've been having some really amazing sexy dreams with all sorts of hotties. I totally don't consider it to be cheating and I'm having a good time. I just wish I was having real sex. I would think he was having an affair but he's always home.

Roselau · 23/06/2013 07:54

Hi from sunny Barcelona!
Just catching up on a few days' worth of posts.
Holly - great news from the dr. Now you can relax and enjoy your pg.

Ok so I have a question - those of you that feel the fluttering, when did it start? I'm 14 weeks and can't wait to feel it!!

So I had a half glass of champagne last night because it was my friend's 30th and I wanted to celebrate. I know it's ok in your 2nd trimester once in a while but I still feel guilty.

Mum I avoided coffee in the 1st trimester but now allow myself a cup here and there. I either water it down or don't go over board. It's hard to know how many mgs are in whatever you're having...

Roselau · 23/06/2013 07:59

Queen wow 2-4 times a day!!!!!! How do you find time?!

We used to have it once a week or so but since I got pg we had it once in the last 14 weeks..... Ugh. Hubby is still worried, no matter how many times we read that it's ok, that he's going to 'poke' the baby... Ah well. I've had a few 'dreams' as well due to lack if action in the bedroom but its not affecting me too much because he's being sweet to me that I find it very romantic.

QueenofWhispers · 23/06/2013 08:08

Roselau

I felt flutters starting at 15 weeks, so hopefully you'll feel them soon. :)

Many of my friends didn't feel anything until 18 weeks so don't worry if it takes you longer.

as for the other thing, we were young and it was quantity over quality. I must have been drunk/desperate to have actually admitted the above last night. forgive me.

froubylou · 23/06/2013 08:22

LOL, Queeny. I know how you feel!

I go from being desperatley horny to not wanting DP anywhere near me and even his breathing annoys me, never mind any nookie.

I think it always slows down on the nookie front, and like you say it can be quantity over quality. We have been TCC for 3 years so sex had become a bit of a means to an end type affair. Lots at the right time, and couldnt be bothered in between. Which is lazy I know.

And funnily enough I got my BFP on a month when we weren't really trying so was just doing it for the sake of it lol.

Had just agreed to buy a new baby pony instead. Hmmm, DP not too happy about it but it was my consolation prize pmsl. Then look what happened.

Good job I got my BFP though otherwise I would have ended up as a mad woman with loads of animals. Had a new pony for DD 2 years ago (as I wasn't pg within the year), a dog last year (as I wasn't pg again) and a pony was ordered this year and I was giving up.

I felt a strange 'poke/bump' in my back the other night. My placenta is to the front and scanner did say I would feel more movement in my back. But I've also felt flutters in the front as well and have been since about 11 weeks (am 14 weeks now). I think it all depends where you womb is (mine is slightly tilted so wonder if thats why I can feel things a bit sooner?), and where the rest of your insides have moved about to.

I am pretty sure its Jesus. But I suppose it could also just be wind lol. I find I feel things the most when either in the bath or laid on one side in bed. Never feel anything walking around during the day and do have to concentrate on it. So probably just tricking myself lol.

mumoftwoboysS · 23/06/2013 09:34

Well here I am in rainy France Hmm

I had a dream the other night that I had a girl and she came out smiling and I was so over the moon! I had dreams about girls In my previous pregnancies too - so this ones probably a boy!! It must be my subconscious telling me I want a girl! Just makes me sure it must be another boy.
