Don't forget to shower and moisturiser after humpty!

Frogcatcher · 06/06/2013 17:04

Damn I think the dr forgot to issue me with my fish portion tracker so I can be sure to keep track of the number of times I've eaten salmon/tuna et al during a 7 day period. Grin

As a pescatarian they can just go jump as I have to get my protein from somewhere and I have been craving it like mad.

Oh & I'm probably not supposed to pick up the dead birds/mice that the cats bring in am I but until the midwife assigns someone to do that for me (as my DP was out last night & is too squeamish anyway!) I guess I'll just be carrying on as normal!

MrsAVB · 06/06/2013 17:06

I'm sure you can get an app for that frog haha!
I thought shower gel and moisturiser were out according to yesterday's report too? Hmm

TobyLerone · 06/06/2013 17:07

We're having tuna baked potatoes for dinner tonight, too. With pre-packed salad :o

I know how to live.

LittlePeaPod · 06/06/2013 17:10

Ahhh. Is it two or is it three tins..... Not confusing at all.... Has anyone mentioned that we also can't eat........ Salami, prosciutto and other cured meats..... And nibbling on the odd human is also a big no no too... ...

Ohhhh just realised, I am one of the few people that is currently adhering to all the advice not that she has much of a choice What's wrong with you all.. Grin

TobyLerone · 06/06/2013 17:12

I bite DH on a regular basis :o

MrsGSR · 06/06/2013 17:12

pod sorry you've had a rubbish few days (well, extra rubbish!) hope your feeling better soon

Good luck on the house frog, it sounds really nice.

I had a Mcflurry the other day, oops. there are far too many rules! Was anyone given anything by the doctor telling them what not to eat? I'm not seeing the midwife until next week and was just thinking that if I didn't have access to the Internet/wasn't so crazy I wouldn't have even thought about half the stuff they say to avoid

enormouse · 06/06/2013 17:13

Everything's out. I'm just going to build myself an all natural organic hut at the bottom of the garden and spend the next 9 months there

Frogcatcher · 06/06/2013 17:14

Yep I've just checked MrsAVB & you can pay £1.99 a pop for either Preg-Plus Pregnancy Nutrition or Expecting Nutrition to become totally paranoid as you note down everything you eat.

Woah steady on Toby. You're living life right on the edge there. I think I'm going to have Quorn sausages & mash because as yet no one has banned Quorn but obviously it's only a matter of time.

Can you tell I'm in a grumpy mood today?! Woe betide Mr Frog if he's not on good behaviour tonight Grin

MrsAVB · 06/06/2013 17:14

. I hope you know mobile phones are out too? Oh and going to work when you've been advised not to? Grin.

MrsAVB · 06/06/2013 17:17

Ahh... But does it have a fish count clicker though frog? Smile
I think cutting out shark has made me a little crazy today...

Frogcatcher · 06/06/2013 17:21

Not that I can see but it does give an example page like this:

Today your Zinc intake is 5.5 mg.
You still need 5.5mg to reach the standard today. Zinc is very important, come on!

I think I would end up throwing my phone at the wall.

LittlePeaPod · 06/06/2013 17:25

everythings out. I'm just going to build myself an all natural organic hut at the bottom of the garden and spend the next 9 months there. Ha ha ha ha ha Grin

Frog I just banned Quorn... Quorn is bad for you..... Grin

passes the halo to pea. I gratuitously accept the halo and put it next o my medical tag for ward 14.... Grin

MrsGSR MW gave me something as part of the pack.. Never looked at t as I have not really struggled with not eating... Grin

Humpty thanks for the tip, I am just heading to shops so will pick up some olive oil, the itching is driving me crazy (especially in the unladylike area!)

I have proper hormonal RAGE today, have been unreasonably rude to lots of people. Am thinking I should start a list so that if I get far enough along to tell people I'm pregnant then I can go back and apologise for being bitchy in the first trimester.

(Hello commuter I often see on my train. I'm so sorry about stamping on your foot then tutting at you a few months ago, it was the RAGE that did it....)

Gabbyj · 06/06/2013 18:14

Vatta am right with you with the rage! I'm sure that the commuter totally deserved it Grin

Everything's out. I'm just going to build myself an all natural organic hut at the bottom of the garden and spend the next 9 months there - so funny!

Toby I'm feeling daring too - am totally going to open the pre-packed salad - consider caution thrown to the wind! Have gone right off tuna though, so only halfway to rebellious... Grin

Percypiglet · 06/06/2013 18:39

Hello all. Loving the rantiness of you all. Glad it isn't just me.

I was also v annoyed by the stupid report yday, they will practically forbid us from wearing deodorant soon so we'll all be smelly, unwashed and sunburnt pregnant women with dirty homes, old cars and no nursery prepared.... What a load of old crap.

On that note, I am having a rebellious tuna and mayo jack pot tonight and salad....mmm. My DH is sorting it out after I've expressed serious pissed offness for him going out too much and spending money in the pub when we need to save it...

what is wrong with men and responsibilities? They have no clue. Surely he is meant to obviously drop everything from now on to make sure I, the mother of his child, am absolutely fine....!!!!! How can he think anything different?? My bollockings never work so not sure what to do next....?! Any suggestions!

Sultanajo · 06/06/2013 19:02

Ahha, I bet the reason I had the shits in M & S this afternoon was because of the shark burger I had at lunch! Bugger! Not just the shits, but M & S shits! Grin

Pod its great to have you back! So sorry u have had such a rough time! Really hope the drugs sort u out!

Penny31 · 06/06/2013 19:03

Hahaha you are all hilarious! Pie and mash for tea here :) must improve my diet after today. Instead of my usual double chin I now I have a treble chin.

toby welcome back, sorry you have had a miserable time x

Sultanajo · 06/06/2013 19:08

penny I had a sausage roll because thats all I wanted. Am just going with it for now because at least its something to eat....Wink

fryingpantoface · 06/06/2013 19:09

Hello!

I've seen the report, biggest load of tosh i've ever read. I think i'll join you all in a hut at the bottom of the garden!

I had the scan this morning, everything is fine with Bug mk 2 (not got a better nickname yet) they've dated me as 7+1, which is 4 days behind where my dates put me, but she says not to worry about it, by the time i get the 12 weeks it'll prob be more like the date it is supposed to be.

They've also said that the cyst has slightly decreased so just have to keep an eye on it. They've said that i'm supposed to have heard from the midwife so to chase it

Frizz1986 · 06/06/2013 19:11

I am totally gonna use the advice to stay away from paint to ensure that dh does all the nursery decorating. Does it say anything about staying away from dust and heat cos I could really do without having to hoover or iron!

percy unfortunately my dh can be rather childish and irresponsible at times which is excellent considering he teaches science to 14 year olds! He can be pretty nice and look after me at times but when I am rushing around trying to sort tea as i need to eat before the sickness arrives and he mutters from his leather chair in his room (whilst watching game of thrones) 'do u need a hand?' Hell yes I could do with a hand! Lol

Penny31 · 06/06/2013 19:15

My OH must've read the article, he has decided to clean the bathroom!!??? In the 7 and a half years I've lived with him he has never done that!

Sultanajo · 06/06/2013 19:30

Hey frying thats great! Loving the name!

Well thats a turn up for the books penny! Cleaning the bathroom is my least favourite job!

Frogcatcher · 06/06/2013 20:14

We have a cleaner as I hate cleaning we are both so busy all the time but not sure I'm going to able to carry on justifying that when I'm unemployed! I need to wave the report in front of DP perhaps.

enjoyingscience · 06/06/2013 20:20

FFS. Just after I read all of your posts on everythiung being banned, I accidently ate a small brie and leek tart. Honestly didn't cross my mind until the last crumb went in.

I also ate 4 onion bhajis and now I have terrible indigestion.

Ah well.
