Should make it clear, I'm still at work and that was a buffet. I don't normally make a dinner out of tart and bhaji Grin

bettyboo83 · 06/06/2013 20:23

What are the rules on crispy duck?? I've just had a yummy Chinese Grin

vatta I was really itchy during my first pregnancy and my GP prescribed Doublebase gel which worked really well. You can buy in pharmacies if you didn't want a trip to the docs.

When are we allowed to wear maternity jeans?? It's def nothing to do with the huge takeaway I've just scoffed...

Frogcatcher · 06/06/2013 20:32

Sure the tart was fine enjoying as the Brie would have been cooked right? I'm starving but waiting for DP to get off the phone to see whether he does want sausage & mash for dinner. Just eaten chilli crisps to tide me over Blush & a chunk of cheese Blush Blush. No wonder Froglet is already appearing bigger than its dates.

chocoloulou33 · 06/06/2013 20:34

sarahleanne · 06/06/2013 20:41

well ive been eating runny eggs, accidentally took ibuprofen today because I forgot I wasn't supposed to have it, and my sister whispered to me at a dinner party "should u be eating those prawns",she is pregnant with her first baby...I just answered her with "trust me by the time your on your 3rd you wont be so paranoid about what your eating".

Notsohorriblefeeling · 06/06/2013 20:44

I saw the doctor today and one of the first things she said was to ' absolutely ignore the absolute rubbish in the press at the moment, RCOG should be ashamed'.

LittlePeaPod · 06/06/2013 20:55

Is anyone else not feeling broody about any one else's baby yet but really broody about MY baby?

enormouse · 06/06/2013 21:28

bettyboo I might pull out my maternity jeans just to accommodate a Pringles induced tum

pod Grin great video
Have you managed to keep anything down?

Well I showed DP the 'pregnant women must avoid everything' article and it didn't have the 'my God! I'll do everything from now on! You rest and put your feet up, you precious flower, you' sort of effect I was aiming for. He looked slightly blank and said "so how exactly have women conceived and given birth for the last 30 years?"

enormouse · 06/06/2013 21:30

This is one that always makes me laugh

Just had a right giggle at those vids. Thanks pod & enormouse :D x

Toothfairy78 · 06/06/2013 22:31

Thanks for lovely supportive comments and OMG ladies, you have been busy!

I sneak off to send my cv to the headhunter, go to work, cracked and told my bestie workmate I'm 1 scoping out a new job and 2 pregnant, went to my karate class (don't worry it's safe) and get home and...

You have put the world to rights on what we can or can't have, started wearing maternity jeans, managed to eat something, found some amusing videos which I shall check out shortly, cleaned your entire house, ate some brie and invented the word cuntpuffin

Which is completely awesome. I like this new word.

Right, onward to the YouTubes!!!

MrsGSR · 06/06/2013 22:33

I'm already in maternity jeans! Normal jeans were a bit tight due to bloating and were not helping morning sickness so I've given in early. There underbump and a bit lose but I've been wearing long tops and pulling then up every few minutes!

Gabbyj · 06/06/2013 22:39

Just had a complete mental moment as its my dh birthday tomorrow and I couldn't remember where I'd put his present, which I bought on Tuesday! Found it after turning the house upside down (which is difficult to do discreetly, but he didnt notice!) and then put it down to get a drink and forgot where I'd left it again! Is this pregnancy brain? Or just a very senior moment? Or both? Argh?!

farmersdaughter · 07/06/2013 05:32

Morning all....
Been in bed since 7pm last night, sick as a dog. The whole room is turning and I'm not really able to sleep properly. Unpleasant. Want to be sick, not being sick. Have forced myself to get out of bed and have some food, I've been awake since 3am...and I'm already just a bit feed up of feeling crap. We have visitors staying the weekend and our having a huge Sunday lunch with other friends at home, at this rate most people will guess I'm pregnant.

Hopefully it will be a nice sunny weekend, already looks nice outside.

What are everyone's plans?

Apologies for the self iIndulgent post but DH has fled to the spare room and I have no one to complain too about my lack of sleep and spinning sweaty head Grin

Xx

farmersdaughter · 07/06/2013 06:03

Forget last post, just thrown up 7 times. Yuk.

TobyLerone · 07/06/2013 07:15

:( farmers that sounds like a nasty bug. Keep sipping water if you can't manage anything else. I hope you feel much better soon.

TobyLerone · 07/06/2013 07:17

You might want to tell your friends you've got this -- they might want to cancel.

extracrunchy · 07/06/2013 08:30

Farmers sounds horrible! Hope you feel better soon x

farmersdaughter · 07/06/2013 08:41

Thank you all, you think I have a bug really? I just thought it was morning sickness Blush

Had a few hours sleep, feeling better but pretty tried. Will speak to DH.

Tummy hurts, would quite like breakfast but chucked up toast and several glasses of apples juice at 6am. Might if been the juice, no doubt I had too much.
