Morning all!
mac, choco and pod, hugs and hair holding for the vommyness... Hopefully we are on our way over to the other side!
Managed to finish yesterday without vomming, first day in 6 weeks! Really hope this is the beginning of the end, although still pretty nauseous and shattered. Also have put on another lb, so only 2lbs under my pre BFP weight now; things are (FX) looking up!
I second choco for no new early threads!
humpty hope conference is going ok, and that your "bad back" is really really bad Wink.
extra I think if they miss NT window (especially if its their fault?), or if baby is in wrong place or moving too much and they cant measure they have to offer you another test, is it called the quad test? For DS. But I might be wrong or it might be different in different places like everything else.
1 week til scan... don't want to wish the time away, but hope it goes quickly! Then we will be travelling to family next weekend and breaking the news (if all well, FX). Soooooo excited and nervous!
Have a good fffffffffriday all!
X

Morning all,

Time to catch up?.lots of news.

Welcome newbies! Hope you are all feeling well and haven't been too sick.

Cosmic Sad I am so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself.

crab, wow what amazing news - how exciting! Hope you're ok.

MrsAVB Hurrah?.are you feeling better or still a bit sick, just without the sick?

pod have you been able to eat. Hope you are feeling a better today. Yuck it's just horrid.

sultana Glad that it was worth the drive for the scan. Defo go back at 20 wks. Sounds like a good scan, positive.

penny hope the blood tests give some useful results. Had mine yesterday and felt all faint and fuzzy.

Mac Are you feeling better today?

Toby how did the big reveal go? Can't to tell my father. Told my brother as he will be away when I have the scan.

bebsy75 Hello and welcome. Struggling with tiredness, oh my god, yes. Hellish. Had to have a afternoon nap yesterday.

Booking appointment went really well, MW was really lovely and kind. I will only see her and one other MW. She also fully supported me in my request for an ELCS, and will advise thats what I should have. I can't tell you have relieved I am. She said DD and I were hugely mismanged during DD birth and given she was so big at birth, she didn't think it was fair to put my through that all again. Said that's not what childbirth is about, it should be a positive happy time, not one were an IV bag is dropped on your face in the OR by a doctor Hmm that wasn't fun Sad Feeling very tried, but no longing feeling sick so that is something.

Happy Friday everyone x

farmersdaughter · 14/06/2013 09:42

Doh..I can't tell you have relieved I am.

how relieved I am Blush

farmersdaughter · 14/06/2013 09:50

Me again sorry...Grin

The stats list is missing stats etc which used to be on, e.g. I put my details up and 2 days later I was off the list, as are quite a few other people. I think cut and paste has gone arise.

I'm very happy to update this, but please could I ask you all to double check the list? And if you are now missing please add your stats in bold in a new box each and I'll make a new list up over the weekend.

Is that okay?

Mac2014 · 14/06/2013 10:11

Thanks ladies.

I've got my booking in appointment today so am working from home, which makes me feel a whole lot better!

Hope you guys are doing ok and the vommyness is subsiding.

Vatta · 14/06/2013 10:28

Thanks Farmersdaughter I've put my details in bold in a new box.

Naturegirl82 · 14/06/2013 10:43

Thanks for updating the stats thread farmers. I'm not on there at the moment but I'm really unsure of my EDD at the moment (think there could be a three week difference between lmp EDD and actual EDD). Is it ok if I wait till Monday after my scan when I hopefully will have a better idea?

Madratlady · 14/06/2013 10:48

Hi everyone, glad people are starting to feel less pukey!

My scan at EPU was fine, baby looks like a little bean and I could see the heartbeat. They said the bleed was probably just old blood and the pain is due to a cyst which is harmless and should go away on it's own.

I found out today that I have no job which came as a big nasty shock (not my fault but totally unexpected) so now I have to find a new job. Not sure how likely that is if I'll be going on maternity leave in late december.

Vatta · 14/06/2013 11:21

Thank you farmersdaughter, I feel very proud!

Madratlady sorry to hear re your job. Is it a redundancy? If so at least there should be some compensation to tide you over?

sarahleanne · 14/06/2013 11:33

Hi everyone.

Sorry to see cosmics sad news, it must be so awful. Look after yourself.

Sorry to all of you who are still feeling sick .

I had my booking in app on Wednesday and my MW is really lovely, I'm so happy cus I have had a few rubbish ones in the past.
She said my wee had enzymes in it that are linked to starvation :/ woops and that I need to eat a bit more.
Had bloods taken, refused the Downs testing and she said I should receive a letter in the post soon with a scan date as we are a little unsure of dates. I think I am 8+5 but am unsure if my light period was actually just implantation so could be further on.
Can't wait for my scan date!! I'm wondering if I am right and they scan me early, if they will do another scan at 12 weeks?? I'll have to wait and see.

SpecificDreamRabbit · 14/06/2013 11:37

Hello ladies, I have had a missed miscarriage, so I'm going to have to leave you Sad I wish you all luck with your pregnancies xxx

Mac2014 · 14/06/2013 11:46

specific horrid news. The biggest of hugs. Xxx

TobyLerone · 14/06/2013 11:46

Oh, I'm sorry, Specific :( Look after yourself Flowers

MrsGSR · 14/06/2013 12:07

So, so sorry specific :(

enormouse · 14/06/2013 12:18

specific so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your partner. Flowers

madrat sorry to hear that. Try not to get too stressed out over it. I went for job interviews at 33 and 34 weeks. Then decided to go back to uni to study something completely different. I think I made the best decisions whilst I was pg.

great to hear about all of you with scans and booking appointments.

I had to tell my boss I was pg earlier than I wanted to. I work mainly from home and its really suffered lately. Feel so tired and disgusting. Hoping for sultanajos pregnancy 'glow' to kick in soon. I only feel like eating kfc washed down with fanta. I do worry the baby's going to be born in a bargain bucket.

BabyshamBambi456 · 14/06/2013 12:39

specific sad news, my thoughts are with you.
madrat how rubbish as if you need any more to think
About at the mo.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes between your booking appointment and your scan date? I had appointment last week and an champing at the bit for the scan. I had an early scan at 8 weeks due to suspected ep so I know I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Really keen for 12 week scan so we can tell people, haven't even told my mum yet!

alteredimages · 14/06/2013 12:55

I'm sorry to hear about your loss specific

I hope things get better soon choco.

enourmouse I nearly spluttered tea everywhere about the bargain bucket. I'm in then same boat. I think we could probably do fast show style pregnancy eating guides. "This week, I have been mostly eating crisps." Blush

alteredimages · 14/06/2013 12:57

madrat great news about scan, and what a pain about work. Sounds like they're arses. Is there any way you could play the pregnancy card with them?

farmersdaughter · 14/06/2013 13:02

Sad so sorry specific

farmersdaughter · 14/06/2013 13:11

Mad oh no, what happen? Did they know you are pregnant? Do you have to leave right away or do you have a 4 weeks etc?

Sarah I had two 12 week scans. First at 10 weeks as I thought I was 12 weeks Blush and then another scan at my correct 12wk date.

Baby when I had my booking appointment this week, MW gave me a number and told me to call next week to find out when my scan will be. Before I just got a letter in the post. I'd chase it up.

Vatta it was glittery and everything!

Mac good luck for later.

Does anyone have any nice plans for this weekend?
BBQ in the garden for us, if it stay dry.

x

Frizz1986 · 14/06/2013 13:13

specific I am so sorry Flowers
madrat sorry about your job too. Try and stay positive and i will keep my fx for you.

Sorry to read how sick everyone is feeling at the moment. I feel very lucky with just nausea! Altho I can't wait for it to go away.

Am currently enjoying my adapted work trousers that are safety pinned as the zip won't do up anymore. I am gonna have to cave and get some mat ones tomorrow.

Really can't wait for the scan now as people keep talking so much at work about how next yr will work if a girl currently on mat leave returns. It's so hard as I know there is a chance I will be going so they'll need to train someone for my job. The looks me and my boss keep having are amusing. Am glad I told her early as the support has been great. Feel very lucky that I work for a family run business as there is a proper family feel.

Is it bad how much I want a Chinese at the moment. Have been trying to be good, but failing. Munching thru bourbons as they stop my sickness and have had cheese toasties everyday this week. Have proper podge now and I was pretty skinny before. Dh finds it funny as he knows at the moment it isn't bean, it's just me getting huge! Am convincing myself that after the nausea has gone I will eat healthy but have a feeling I will double in size by week 40!

Naturegirl82 · 14/06/2013 13:38

Sorry to hear your news specific. Thinking of you and your partner

Madratlady · 14/06/2013 14:12

Sadly the pregnancy card would be no use with work. I was working for a nursing agency, I did a fast track application scheme for staff already employed by an NHS hospital. When I left the hospital I should have reapplied but no one thought to let me know and as far as I was aware it was a permanent job and the first I heard of it was being told my contract was terminated on wednesday when I phoned up to try and organise some shifts this morning.

On the plus side I've spent ages today on the phone to recruitment agencies and have 2 interviews for next week and should hear back about several other jobs as well

Sultanajo · 14/06/2013 14:39

Specific sooooo sorry! It absolutely sucks! My thoughts are very much with you. Flowers

madrat sorry about your work - great added stress that you don't need!!!
