Still not been sick today, although have had the max meds and still feel nauseous all the time. But it's still progress! And my boss has asked me to start thinking about my maternity handover = we are not going to get anyone in to cover you but want notice to try and work out how to assign extra duties to others. Ho hum.

Just realised gonna have to tell my boss soon. It will mean major stress working out who will cover and then me training them up - just cant be arsed right now, but hopefully by the time I need to my energy levels will have lifted above those of a sloth.....

mac I'm sorry you are feeling so rough. It's tough isn't it.

My nausea comes and goes now which is much easier to deal with but the tiredness is not letting up! I'm normally in bed by 9.30pm.

Finally got a scan date!!! I'll be 13+4. Is that cutting it a bit fine for NT do you think..?

I totally understand why you are stressing. Could you speak to EPU or MW about your worries?

extra if your stressed I would ring and explain that to your midwife. Maybe they will bring it forward a few days. I don't know why they would leave it that late? Did you tell your midwife that you wanted the Downs test at your booking in?

Yep, I told MW at booking in I wanted the NT (I have a sister and an uncle with DS - though I'm told there's no genetic factor so I'm just worrying unnecessarily, and would undoubtedly continue with pregnancy, just want to know). Bah. Stupid hospital.

Today my bloody teeth are aching like mad! I've been off anything sweet since I got pregnant so I think it's just hormones. I don't remember them aching with my other 3...although I did have to get my one and only filling when I was preg with #2. Gah! Annoying! Anyone elses teeth giving them problems?

Itsonly that sounds awful. I get bleeding gums sometoimes but no aching. Hope it goes away soon.

pod and mac - you are right - once the actual handover/training starts it won't be so bad - it's getting to that point and the fact that I will have to travel around the country to do it which is the thing that is making me feel a bit blergh about it. Gotta drive over 6 hours in a couple of weeks to give some training as it is - not a problem when am not knackered and nauseous but.....hey ho, perhaps in a few weeks things will have improved on that front....grumble grumble

Hurray extra finally got a date! About bloody time! I would definitely give them a call and tell them your concerns. I bet you feel as though you are taking one step forward only to hit another potential hurdle....

itsonly my gums have been sore when I brush on the top right for the last couple of days, but otherwise fine - no aching?
