Well, made it out to the shops and got the bits and bobs I needed and some amazingly sweet strawberries! However, now feel totally wiped out which is ridiculous!!! Could easily nap now! If I am not trying my hardest not to vom at lunch out tomorrow I will probably be desperately trying to stay awake!!! Wink

Sultanajo · 27/05/2013 12:49

Sultanajo · 27/05/2013 12:50

Sultanajo · 27/05/2013 12:52

Sultanajo · 27/05/2013 12:54

Feeling really sorry for all you suffering with ms and food aversions. I've had ms (really morning and early afternoon/evening) for the past week or so, but it hasn't put me off food at all. I managed to inhale the best part of 2 tubs of Ben & Jerry's over the weekend, and am now feeling (if not looking) like a small whale. Will really have to get a grip if I am not to balloon ridiculously.

I dug out my scan photos with DS and realised the first one wasn't until 7+6, so I really am going to try to hold out to 8wks this time. Just another 17 days to go then. Not that I'm counting or anything...

Sultanajo · 27/05/2013 13:12

rosalux I am definitely worried that when the ms wears off I will start inhaling my food again! Ben and Jerrys and Haagen Das normally call my name! They arent at the moment but I can imagine it will only be a matter of time....Wink

eccentrica · 27/05/2013 13:18

Oh, I should add that I had a scan last week at 7+4, and all was good. Saw my little blob with beating heart Grin

So it really is just my paranoia that's making me worry so much. I was like this with DD too, didn't really believe she'd be OK until she was actually out!

Sultanajo · 27/05/2013 13:32

eccentrica thats great you saw your blob with a heartbeat! Yeah think I will be the same. Have had two scans now due to bleeding and pain and each time I was convinced it would be bad news! Cant help it!

Pop2014 · 27/05/2013 14:41

Thanks Sultana Smile

Welcome eccentrica Brew Biscuit

fryingpantoface · 27/05/2013 15:08

That's brilliant Eccentria!

MrsVDB · 27/05/2013 15:14

bikey no ms yet although had food poisoning for a week last week and thought it was ms ha ha. Not much appetite but feeling ok. Just that hangover feeling in the morning. It's going soo slowly! Going to pay for early scan at 8 weeks but that's ages away!

CursiveLetters · 27/05/2013 16:09

Hi everyone, I just got my BFP this morning! So now I can spend the whole bank holiday reading baby stuff online. My due date is Jan 31 according to the online calculators so I'll be the tail end of this club (or maybe get bumped to the Feb club when I go in for my scan).

I didn't think I was pregnant as this was our very first cycle trying, but happy that it came so easily.

I saw someone mention London neighborhoods earlier, I'm in the Angel. Only annoying thing about being preg so far is that I'm brand new to London so I'm trying to make friends. The no drinking thing is going to make it difficult. Also we have a big family wedding in two weeks so I know everyone is going to be asking if I'm pregnant when they don't see me drinking. :/

Pop2014 · 27/05/2013 16:24

Welcome Cursive and congratulations!!!! Flowers

I'm in London but South.

Have fun reading up on everything baby related!!!!

You can add your stats on the January Stat thread.

Even if you go in to Feb, we don't mind Smile

chocoloulou33 · 27/05/2013 17:45

Hello ladies, not been on here in a few days. My constant nausea has now turned to actual vomming & I just feel so bloody terrible all day & all night. I've also had a bad headache since last night that paracetomal is just not touching. Any advice would be great. Have got 2 full days of work ahead & could not be dreading it more :( x

enormouse · 27/05/2013 18:09

Hi am a bit of a latecomer to the thread but got my bfp about a week or so and my little bubs will be due around January 24th. He/she will be dc2 as I have a 19mo ds. Am currently flooded with hormones so can do with some virtual hand holding.
Hi chocoloulou, I remember you from the May bfp thread.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 27/05/2013 18:20

MrsAVB sorry you're suffering so badly, no fun at all. I do think the GPs should be able to help. Poor you!

blue bless you! Chocolate is no crying matter - save that for the weepy ads/pics of babies/lovely posts on here/seeing your scans... Grin

sultana NOOOoooooo not the KLASS! My DH loves her, and therefore I loathe her. Pan-faced trollop, I call her.
Good luck tomorrow - how lush! I can't wait until my booking in appointment (23 days).

frog I'm sure all will be well until your OH gets back.

gobbo same re random crap - I have ver specific food tastes now. Just managed a cucumber sandwich - p'raps Baby Humpty has pretensions of grandeur?

madrat yay - how lovely to have a rl friend to share it all with!

pod this is getting ridiculous. You poor love. I was dreadful yesterday - everything tasted 'off', no desire to eat, felt sick all day, so i understand a little how you're feeling, but I am lucky that today I'm okay (so mainlined veg and good food), it seems to go like that. You need to see someone about this.

Mac eccentrica, cursive and enormouse hello! Welcome!

extra I have dreadful spots too. Awful. I feel about 15. Nothing is helping. I use paraben and SLS/F and mineral oil free products anyway, so it's not that. Just ordered a rose facewash, as meant to be soothing. I hate spots. Angry

specific mmmm, maternity clothes. I want maternity jeans (have done since I was about 22...) SO BAD... mmmm stretchy everything. I am such a slob.

I'm having a good day today (after yesterday, Day of Doom), managed peppers and carrots and coleslaw with turkey breast at lunch, plus strawberries, just had a cucumber sandwich, going to cook tonight and hopefully eat more than a five year old size portion too... Judging by previous experience, i will feel like death again tomorrow night/wednesday. Joy. I'm going to try the wristbands as well. I hate the nausea, it's so debilitating (although prob not so bad as vomming, in case any vommers get Angry!)

enormouse · 27/05/2013 18:33

bluecarrot do you live in northern Ireland?

Toothfairy78 · 27/05/2013 18:52

sultana thanks. So glad it's not just me!

Tomorrow at work's gonna be interesting, they'll think I've lost my marbles!

bluecarrot · 27/05/2013 19:00

Yes enormouse- I live in Co Antrim :) You?

Humpty - the chocolate wasnt even nice in the end. I gave both bars to DD (minus one square from each)

enormouse · 27/05/2013 19:07

bluecarrot me too. About 20 minutes outside of larne.

bluecarrot · 27/05/2013 19:14

Im just outside Carrick :) Have you chosen your hospital yet? Ive gone for the Royal Hospital again.

Mac2014 · 27/05/2013 19:43

Thanks Humpty, hope you feel ok tomorrow.

The only thing that stops me feeling rubbish and wanting to vomit is eating. I'm going to be the size of a house!

sultana glad it's not just me!

BookTart · 27/05/2013 20:00

Evening all. Hope everyone has managed at least something for dinner :) Can I ask for some advice? I'm having (yet another) panic!

Since a couple of hours after yesterday's transabdominal scan (which was fine, heartbeat visible, measuring on track) I've had some cramping and light brown/orange spotting when I wipe. There isn't a lot of it, but it is definitely there. As this is how last year's mc started for me I am a bit worried and not very optimistic.

Who do I need to tell, if anyone? So far I've had no blood tests or examinations other than the scan at the EPU yesterday. Is it worth telling the EPU, or should I wait and see what happens? I wondered whether it was an infection of some kind, but my GP is worse than useless and I haven't got a midwife yet so I'm not sure who could help me with that. Also, do I need to tell work in case the worst happens? I worked through it last time, but that was a couple of weeks earlier in the pregnancy.

Sorry. Bleating on about myself again. I promise I'll get a grip eventually!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 27/05/2013 20:03

book no knowledge here, sorry lovely, but handholding. I'd ring the EPU if it gets redder/heavier, or even just for reassurance. Can you warn work now (by email) that you're 'not feeling well' and may need to stay off tomorrow?
